It's been a few months since Rebecca came back and so far everything's been great. Our love was stronger than ever, having the kids around again was amazing and I was actually happy.

Everything was starting to feel like normal again, just like the good old days. But, today was special. I had something planned for Rebecca, something that she would hopefully love.

"So, everything's in order then?" I asked through the phone.

"Yep, just get your asses down here." Blake replied.

I chuckled. "Alright, we'll be there in a few."

We said our goodbyes and hung up before I walked out of our room, meeting Rebecca in the living room.

"Remind me again why I'm all dressed up?" She asked.

I pulled her into a quick kiss. "It's a surprise."

   "I hate surprises." She replied.

"Well, hopefully you'll love this one."

She giggled. "The anticipation is killing me, let's get a move on."

I laughed and took her hand, leading her outside to my car.

Once we were inside, I pulled a blindfold from my purse. "Here, put this on."

She took the blindfold and eyed it suspiciously. "What kinda surprise is this?"

I gave her a warm smile. "Just trust me."

She returned it before putting the blindfold on. "Fine, let's go."

I started the car and headed off towards Twist.

We pulled into the parking lot shortly after and I helped Rebecca out of the car before leading her through the front door.

"Ok, can I take this thing off yet?" She asked.

I let go of her shoulders. "Yeah."

She pulled it off and looked over at the candle lit dinner table in the middle of Twist, which was closed today.

A big grin spread on her lips. "Wow, this brings back so many memories."

   "Hopefully good ones." I replied.

She faced me and pulled me into a quick kiss. "Definitely some of my favorites."

I smiled before taking her hand and leading her towards the table, pulling her chair out for her before walking over to mine.

"So, what do you think?" I asked.

She smiled and shook her head. "Well, this is a nice set up and all but, we don't have any food."

I chuckled before quickly clapping my hands twice.

Blake came out with a big smile and two menus, setting them in front of us.

"So, what will you and the pretty lady be having tonight?" Blake asked.

"These menus just say 'chicken and pasta'." I replied.

"Yeah, make your choice." Blake said.

Rebecca laughed. "Let's change it up a little, we'll take the pasta and a bottle of champagne."

Blake nodded and scooped up the menus before walking off.

I faced Rebecca again. "So... are you having fun?"

She took my hand from across the table. "Definitely... but, what's this all about?"

I leaned over the table to give her a soft kiss. "Patience, my young grasshopper."

She laughed. "Fine."

After a few minutes of conversation, Blake returned with our food and drinks.

She set them on the table and smiled at us. "Enjoy your meal." Then, she walked off again.

"Wow, she didn't even ask for a tip, this must be special." Rebecca said.

I flashed her a smile. "You could say that."

We ate in silence and when we finally finished, Rebecca looked at me. "Ok, so what's the big surprise?"

I stood up and took her hands in mine, leading her up out of her chair.

I looked deep into her eyes. "Rebecca, I love you so much... and when I thought I lost you forever, I didn't know what to do with myself. I was broken and beaten and I felt like something was missing..."

Rebecca ran one hand down my cheek. "Oh, Skylar... I'm so sorry."

I gave her a small smile. "I know... and I forgive you. But, when you came back, I knew what I was missing... I was missing you... you give my life meaning, Rebecca. Without you I'm nothing... just a sexy, blonde, drunk with no one to love..."

She giggled as a few tears dripped down her cheeks.

"I love you, Rebecca, I love you so much and I never wanna feel like that again. I never wanna lose you again. So..."

Rebecca gasped as I got down on one knee, her hand still in mine.

"Rebecca June, you make my life whole, without you my heart is empty... so, will you make me the happiest woman on the planet, again, by marrying me?" I asked, pulling a ring from my pocket.

She sniffled and wiped a few more tears as they fell. Then, she smiled. "Yes... hell yes."

I stood up and pulled her into a deep, lingering kiss.

When we finally pulled apart, we wore matching smiles.

I took her hand and slid the ring onto her finger.

She smiled down at it.

"I love you so much." She said through tears.

I kissed her again. "And I love you so much more."

"Not possible." She said.

I laughed lightly. "Agree to disagree?"

"You bet."

Then, we heard a voice.

"Can we come out now!" Blake shouted from the back room.

"Yeah, c'mon!" I shouted back.

The door opened and all our friends and family came spilling into the bar.

Everyone congratulated us and pulled us into tight hugs.

"Oh, I'm so happy." My mom said, tears already in her eyes.

"Congrats you two." My dad said.

Wendy walked up, a few tears in her eyes. "I'm so happy for you guys." She said before pulling us into a tight hug.

"Wow, are you actually crying?" Rebecca asked.

"She's already been drinking." Jen said.

We laughed.

After a few more hugs, Candy walked up to us, a small smile tugging at her lips.

"Congratulations, guys." She said.

"Thanks." Rebecca replied with a smile.

I pulled her into a hug. "Thank you, for everything... I'm sure this isn't what you had in mind for our future but, I really appreciate you coming and I hope to see you at the wedding."

She smiled and wrapped her arm around Dana's shoulder. "As long as I can bring a guest."

I returned her smile and nodded. "Definitely."

Dana patted my shoulder. "I told you everything would work out."

Before I could reply, Wendy stepped up on the bar, drink in hand.

"Alright, listen up, everyone."

We all turned and faced her.

"I just wanna say congrats to the happy couple. We're all so happy to finally see you guys back together. Never in history has there been two people more meant for each other... so, to Skylar and Rebecca. Cheers!" She said before downing her drink.

Everyone cheered and clapped.

I faced Rebecca again and took her hands in mine. "So..."

She smiled. "So?"

"Are you ready to see what the future holds?"

She smiled. "As long as your in it, I'm ready for anything."

I leaned in for a soft kiss. "I love you."

She giggled. "I love you more..."

The End
