Untitled sonnet written back in 2009

Inspired by the work of the one and only, William Shakespeare!

So dull and boring is my heaven now,

as if the moon and stars are gone with you.

So low and quiet even sounds the row,

as if the music also left with you.

Every waking hour, every day,

I do regret that I could let you go.

I do regret the words I could not say.

Since I wanted to tell you: Don't leave me, no.

Now look, my love, what fate has done to me.

I've lost my heart, I've left it with you.

Another love than you I cannot see.

And crying is cold comfort, hurts me, too.

The sun is burning, but I can't feel it.

I'm passing ghostly, dying, bit by bit.
