Nix paced in front of the campfire, Mimi sitting on his shoulder, worried. Nix held Emma's pokeballs in his hands, thinking about whether or not to tell them about their trainer's capture."

"Can't sleep?"

Nix turned to see Clemont smiling at him, holding a still hot cup of tea. Nix nodded and sat down in front of the now dying fire, Clemont sitting down next to him.

"I'm worried about Emma," Nix sighed. "She's in the hands of those...those Team Flare freaks!"

"I understand," Clemont sighed, turning towards the tent he shared with Bonnie and Korrina. "If anything happened to them, I'd be beside myself with worry."

"Yeah," Nix sighed again, looking up at the stars.

They sat in silence, Clemont breaking it with his constant drinking of his tea.

"Well, you'll need your strength if we want to rescue Emma," Clemont said, suddenly breaking the silence. "Let's get some sleep."

Clemont then stood up, and offered a hand to Nix. Nix grabbed it with a smile, and Clemont pulled him off the ground. Nix then made his way towards the tent he shared with Looker and Prof. Sycamore, while Clemont made his way to his tent.

Emma observed the lock on the door that kept her enclosed in this prison, hoping that she could find a way to break out. She looked around the room for supplies; a large bed, a bathroom stall, a slit in the door where she could get food, a barred window, and a table where there were scattered papers with coloring items that Lysandre apparently thought would keep her entertained. As she searched, she reviewed the information she gained over and over again in her head. Lysandre was her adoptive father. He was the one who dumped her in that alley all those years ago. And now, he wants her back.

Emma didn't even realized she dismantled the bed in anger until she saw the metal bar she was holding. Grinning to herself, she hit the door over and over again until it broke off its hinges. Two guards ran towards her, but she knocked them unconcious. Knowing that she could escape, she ran towards the exit, but stopped when she heard Lysandre's voice in her head.

I have some unfinished business to take care of.

Anger growing, Emma's hands tightened around the metal bar and ran down the hall, screaming with rage.

"Lysandre, I'm going to kill you, you son of a bitch!"

***

Lysandre smiled down at the pokeballs he held in his hands.

"My dear Pokemon," he sighed. "I need your help once again to make this world a better place. I failed last time because I was too weak. I made mistakes. No one will get in my way again. This world will become a better place. No matter the cost."

He shoved the pokeballs into his pocket before making his way towards his helicopter. He really hoped that once this was over, Emma would join him. She wouldn't have a choice, after all. He didn't flinch when the exit door slammed open and a screaming Emma ran out. Lysandre whirled around just as Emma was about to bring down the metal bar on his head, and caught the bar with his robotic arm. Emma struggled to wrench the bar from his grasp, but he only rolled his eyes and lifted the bar up, lifting Emma off the ground.

"My, I should have kept a better eye on you, dear," Lysandre smiled.

Emma kicked his face in reply, and, in shock, he dropped the bar and Emma. Emma then slammed the bar into Lysandre's non robotic leg. Lysandre cried out in pain and crumpled, holding his nose that Emma had broken with her kick. Emma was about to strike him again, but the sound of running feet stopped her. She glared at Lysandre and threw the bar down to the ground.

"There is no way I will ever join you," Emma breathed through clenched teeth. "Or call you 'father'."

The footsteps came closer and closer as Emma fled into the woods, desperate to get away from there.

Celosia, Mable, and the recently arrived Bryony and Aliana approached Lysandre, who was still hunched over.

"Sir!" Aliana cried out, kneeling by him. "Are you okay?"

Lysandre grunted and removed his hand from his nose. He looked down and saw it covered in blood. He growled and looked up, fire flaming in his eye.

"Celosia, Mable. Get into the helicopter. Bryony. Aliana. Stay here in case Emma comes back NOW."

***

Emma ran all through the night, not stopping to take a break for fear that Team Flare would not be far behind. Her breath began to come out in pants, but she kept running, even when the sun began to peak over the horizon. She looked behind her to make sure that no one was following her, when she suddenly felt herself run into someone.

"Ah! Get away!" she yelled, pushing the person away. "Leave me alone!"

"Emma?"

Emma stopped and turned, noticing everyone she knew. She sighed with relief as she approached a stunned looking Nix with a stunned looking Mimi.

"Thank Arceus I found you all," Emma muttered, before stumbling.

Nix caught her as she fell and began to snore from tiredness.

"She needs rest," Nix stated, picking his girlfriend up and bringing her to his tent. "We'll ask her how she escaped later."

The others nodded and set about packing up the rest of the camp, not noticing the movement in the trees nearby.

"Target acquired, sir," Celosia muttered into her walkie talkie.

"Good, keep an eye on them," Lysandre's voice came from the other side.

"You alright sir?" Celosia asked, a little worried.

"I HAVE A BROKEN NOSE!"

"Right, sorry sir."

"Just...Just follow them."

"Yes sir."

*Ah sorry that this was a short part but i'm getting a writers block for this story lol. It might be a bit before I get back to it, but do not worry. I WILL NOT drop this story. Love you all!*
