Last time:

"Yugi don't scare me like that ever again, Yugi I care about you, I..." Yugi broke the hug to face Yugi with tears in his eyes "I.... I-I l-l-love you Yugi " Yami said sobbing and his ears down and pulled Yugi back into another hug

Yugi's eyes widen and huged him back " I love you too " Yugi whispered and Yami pulled out of the hug ears up.

" You mean it, Yugi " Yami asked

" Yes and I will always love you " Yugi said with a smile

Yami smiled and took the first kiss and Yugi kissed back

Chapter 5 : misunderstanding

Yami and Yugi were lost in the kiss that they failed to notice Seto enter the room.

"My pharaoh?" Seto asked

Both Yami and Yugi jumped at Seto's question

"Seto!, since when did you!?..." Yami asked still surprised, with a deep red blush

"Long enough, my pharaoh" Seto said

Yami looked at Yugi, who was looking at the floor, then back at Seto " Seto, what you have seen tonight must not be herd outside this room!" Yami told Seto

"Of course my pharaoh, I have come to inform you about the ball in three weeks pharaoh" Seto said then looked at Yugi

" You must be Yugi" Seto said to Yugi, Yugi nodded eyes still on the floor "Joey talks about you" Seto said, and Yugi blushed even more

"Thank you Seto, you are dismissed and not a word about this" Yami said, Seto nodded and left.

"Yami?" Yugi started "are you sure about Seto knowing?" Yugi asked

"Yes, this isn't the first time Seto found my secrets" Yami said walking towards Yugi.

~time skip~

Over the past three weeks, Yami and the council members have been planning for the upcoming ball. Yami had hardly any free time, but when he did he would spend it with Yugi. (A/N: yup they were making out :3)

~At the ball~

Yami was on his throne looking at the Royals as they had fun, Yugi was sitting on the floor at Yami's right side as Yami's right hand was on top of Yugi's head as Yami petted Yugi behind his ears.

"Yugi?" Yami asked Yugi

"Hmm?.." Yugi purred

"Can I have something to drink, since I cannot leave the throne" Yami said

"Of course you are the pharaoh after all" Yugi said standing up, while still putting

As Yugi wondered around for the drinks while avoiding eye contact with the other royals, Yugi gets lost in the crowd after a while Yugi decided to returned to the throne after being lost, when Yugi finally saw the throne he saw a princess kiss Yami, as Yugi started to back away Yami saw Yugi as he left the room.

~Yami's pov ~

I was waiting for Yugi to return until.

" YAMI!!" a screech like voice called me and this could only be one person princess Tea Gardner, from the kingdom of Gurlan (A/N: I'm bad at names), she's a tiger and she always try and get me in bed with her.

"Yami, it's been awhile" Tea's screech like voice snapped me from focusing on Yugi

"It has been awhile, but not long enough" I mumbled to myself

"What are you doing sitting around for?" She asked me, her ears up and tail swaying behind her

"I'm waiting for someone" I said with a growl at the back of my throat

"Oh, is that so, well you don't need to wait anymore, since I'm here" Tea said purring

"I'm waiting for someone else and not you" I said with a lowly growl

"Yami, I know it's a lie, and I know you want me" Tea said and kissed me

I hissed at Tea , and at the same time I saw Yugi slowly backing away from the corner of my eyes, I quickly stood up as Yugi started running and I ran after him.

~normal pov ~

Yami ran after Yugi out of the ball room im to the empty halls, Yami finally caught Yugi's hand

"Yugi I-" Yami was cut of by Yugi's sobs

"Yami, please I want to be alone" Yugi said in between his sobs

"Please, Yugi listen to me, Tea just wants me to get in bed with her, but I don't even like her, but I do love you Aibou" Yami said, ears down, and let's go of Yugi's hand as Yugi turned towards Yami

"You do love me right?" Yugi asked his eyes glittering full of tears

Yami nodded "Yes, and I always will, Aibou" Yami said, and crashed their lips together

"Come on, Aibou let's return to the ball" Yami said as he pulled out of the kiss

"Alright, Mou Hitori No Boku!" As Yami and Yugi returned to the ball someone was waiting them the hole time, lurking in the shadows of the palace.
