Jack's POV

"He's an inventor okay," Astrid calmed down her voice. "What?" I looked at her she looked me deep in the eye. "He never wanted you to know okay," wait never wanted us to know how could he?

"Why?" Anna stepped forward and asked with sadness to her tone, we looked back at Astrid and she said "Because he was bullied by what he was, no one accepted the gift he had within him we all took it as a joke. So he never told anyone and never trusted anyone to keep him safe," I scoffed. Everyone looked at me. Again with the glares would they just stop?

"Yeah and look where it has got him, he should have told us!" I yelled at them all. "The reason he never did Frost was because he was scared, he was scared on how you would treat him, if you would judge him just like we all did," she had a point I turned around so I didn't show she won and I was defeated.

"By Inventor how do you mean?" Rapunzel stepped up and asked. "He can invent anything possible even if it doesn't exist yet if he has what he wants he can make anything. When I say anything I mean anything," I turned around with a frown across my face.

"You mean to tell me he can invent anything, anything that doesn't even exist, including him never telling us, for crying out loud Pitch could have been dealt with by now!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. "That arrow, it was his wasn't it?" Merida stepped up and asked. Astrid nodded at her.

"Um hello anyone listening to me over here!" I called over at them. They all turned their bodies in unison "Pitch could have been defeated by now but we are still trying to get rid of him because of Hiccup!" I yelled at them. "Jack step outside NOW!" Astrid shouted at me. "No," I argued back.

Suddenly she was pulling me by the back of my hoodie out into the open. "You need to cool off you cold-hearted jerk (sorry for the language)!" she yelled at me. "ME, ME COOL OFF SERIOUSLY!" she folded her arms as her response and gave me a glare. Okay maybe I can see her point.

I relaxed my shoulders and fell to the floor in defeat. She came over sat next to me, "So you wanna tell me what's eating at you?" I looked at her facing the deep sapphire blue eyes which reflect of my icy ones. "What do you mean?" I questioned her. "Something is troubling you and I know it that's why you took a rage in there. No one goes like that unless they CARE about something or this case someONE," she emphasised on the one.

I looked away and stared out beyond the village to the sea. "I don't know what you're on about Astrid," I told her. She laughed, "Well when you're ready I'll be here waiting, you can talk to me Jack, I may seem like a jerk sometimes as well as you but I do care about what happens to you and the others okay," I looked back at her and for once she was actually smiling towards me. It was a nice feeling within me veins.

Before I knew it I buried my head into her shoulder and tears started falling from eyes. I never cry, never. I felt Astrid place her arm around my body and pull me in closer. I didn't retaliate, it was a nice comfort. She then buried her head on top of mine.

The tears kept coming, they wouldn't stop falling.
