Neil entered his house, coming home late due to having to shop, not wanting Chris to do things and wanting Carlos to get his rest for the day shift, he sighed and then noticed all the lights were on, he wandered around, turning them off, but then noticed his son, Jamie, sitting by the fire, reading a book.

"Jamie?" The boy turned to his dad "Oh, dad... Sorry that I'm not asleep, I couldn't sleep at all...." He said with a sigh "Anything on your mind?" Neil asked, sitting next to him, silence....

"I don't want a sibling..."

Neil was taken by surprise at the sudden statement, looking to his son, then noticed the glare on his face "Why not?" He asked "I don't need a sibling... I am fine on my own... WE are fine..." He said, his voice lined with annoyance "We can't just simply get rid of it, honey.... Why don't you want a sibling?" He asked again, Jamie stayed in silence "Are you worried?" He asked, Jamie nodded slowly "Mind telling me why?" Neil asked, Jamie sighed.

"What if it hates me? What if it doesn't love me?"

Neil flinched, but sighed and kissed his son's head "The baby won't be able to play, it will cry, eat... sleep.... be a flipping doll..." He joked, making the younger boy giggle "Also... The baby will need to have affection and needs lots of attention..." He added, Jamie sighed "But, if you feel lonely... Just come to me, daddy, or mama... Okay?" He said "At least ONE of us will be here..." He said, hugging his son, Jamie smiled and hugged him.

Neil picked him up and then walked to his son's bedroom, tucking him in "I love you... I will ALWAYS love you... Okay?" He asked "I know... You tell me everyday..." He responded, smiling.
