We left the shop feeling elated after I managed to get Alex, my old Unit 30 mate to respond that he just saved some tickets for us. I glanced at my watch to find that I still have an hour before I start my shift at Al-Safar. So, I decided to return home to change to my working clothes while Abs walked me home to Maine Road.

We arrived at Great Southern Street heading towards a fabric factory converted to a mosque located at the intersection of Great Southern Street-Santiago Street. Then all of a sudden, Abs pulled me to a small back alley nearby and hid ourselves behind a fenced wall of a corner house nearby for something or someone that he spotted ahead of us.

"That's Nick's car," he said in low hushed tones, pointing towards the familiar Jaguar X351 parked opposite the mosque by the kerb of Great Southern Street-Santiago Street intersection. Its champagne gold color was more obvious under the sunlight. The license registration number PH0L4D1 printed on the plate screamed its owner's name.

"What the hell is he doing here?" I hissed, remembering the immunity I lost the moment I let Milla walk out on me that evening.

"You expect me to know?!" Abs hissed back, turning behind us, scanning for any signs of Nick or his entourage approaching. He spotted a cracked cricket bat jutted out of a green garbage bin which was three feet away from us. Nick pulled out the cricket bat and tested on its durability.

"What are you doing?" I asked in astonishment while he swung the bat playfully like he did in the smash room.

"Do you want to revisit House of Wrath's moment?" he asked back, flashing a devious smile.

'Not only that I want to revisit it, I wanted to complete the kiss!' was what I wanted to say. "Not so sure what to expect out of this," was what I actually said. "Abs, Nick can be nearby. Please don't tell me you're planning to do what I think you're planning to do."

Abs nodded excitedly, still clasping the bat with his both hands. "Oh, just a little bit of fun won't hurt. You are on the lookout while I wreck it."

I eventually obeyed. With all the luck we needed, we approached. I secured the parameter, scanned through the areas around the park. A bunch of kids were practicing shots inside a high fenced court a hundred meters away from us. Abs went closer to the side of the car, held the bat behind and above his head waiting to launch.

"This is for ZJ, you mother fuckin' prick!" he swiftly pounded the door a couple of times before moving onto its windscreen, leaving a visible crack across. Once again that sense of fulfilment beamed across his face when he made a final blow on his side mirror causing its alarm siren to emit high-volume sound, alerting the neighbourhood that it was being attacked.

Abs dropped the cricket bat and took me by the hand as we both sprinted from the scene. I could hear some shouting at the back as we sped away but was afraid to turn to look. We ran all the way through Santiago Street for a hundred meters' sprint and turned left towards Brunt Street, gasping for air, feeling overwhelmed with the heavy meal we had earlier. We felt like our legs were about to explode. He took me into a trash alley behind a row of houses for a quick hideout to regain our breath. I panted and chocked for air, bending down on a half squat, with my both hands clutching my knees. Abs panted too as he gently patted me on the back.

"You alright, mate?" he gasped. I looked up at him and gave the thumbs up. I laughed in between my breaths. Looking at my expression, he laughed too.

After being completely sure that we were not followed, we resumed to the correct path back to Maine Road reminiscing good old days together. Although some memories were mostly favourable to Abs but seeing him happy has always been my favourite. Of course during those good and bad times together, I would be there for him getting through it no matter what. I only wish he would do the same. But I think the tables are about to and luck will be on my side. I will have a memorable evening together with him during the friendly match.
