Space-time vortex.

I would perceive it as a portal that catapulted me to my life a decade ahead or back, depending on which part of the loop that I would venture on. Something like TARDIS from Dr. Who or DeLorean of Back to The Future franchise except that there were no devices, just a portal. Something that Janet warned Scott Lang in the sequel of Ant Man not to get sucked into.

Although Avengers: Endgame had a different theory of time-travelling altogether, how are we to link something fictional to actual real-life? I Google searched to see if any of these are true and exist in a form of theories or experiments, yet my search was limited to whatever that was available online for free. There is a theory by Einstein with the same name, though, proven accurate by NASA but has nothing to do with my earlier point of view. I guess this remains hypothetical. Or maybe I should Google it using other terms like 'space-time continuum', or just plain 'time-traveling'.

What if this time traveling portal does exist? What if it hoists me to the future unbeknownst to me and flung me back to the present? Will I be seeing myself as I was in a different universe — you know, like in Spiderman, or will it be stagnant and comforting? Perhaps, the things I see in that fragment of the future makes no perfect sense at all, like nothing in my present life contributes to anything to it. Or maybe I would witness an exciting turn of events that enthralls me. This portal, if it exists, would take me to an unimaginable future, like a dispersion of lights, all white and linear, rammed into a dense area, fractured into a spectrum array of colors, creating a parallel universe.

I wonder, if my past walked through this portal and faced the current me, what would the reaction be? Will she be able to accept the fact that I married my best friend who is a changed man?
