"So someone else, not my Christian, got you pregnant," I said to Ceria when she tried to get inside Christian's condo.

"What are you talking about?" she asked like she didn't know what I was talking about.

"Quit the act, Ma'am, you are busted." Tinuro ko ang mga camera na nakalagay sa bawat sulok ng condo unit ni Christian. They were small but still as powerful as those big ones. "He has one installed in his bedroom, wala kayong naka-save na scandal doon, puro sa amin lang dalawa. Mayroon doon ay kung gaano ka kadesperadang makuha si Christian," I said and shut the door in front of her face.

Ilang babae pa kaya ang kailangan kong kalabanin para lang ma-solo ko si Christian. Nakakainis, nakakapagod na.

Napahilot ako sa sintido ko at napapikit habang nakaupo sa sofa. Katatapos ko lang magsuka sa banyo tapos dumating pa 'yon. Nakakahapo naman talaga.

"Babe, I'm here. Nabili ko na ang pinapabili mong vanilla ice cream."

Nakapikit pa rin ako at hinintay na lang makalapit sa akin si Christian. Naramdaman ko ang pag-upo niya sa sofa pero hindi pa rin ako dumidilat.

"She's sleeping again. Is this normal for a pregnant woman?" Is he talking to himself?

Inayos niya pa ang paghiga pero humaplos at pumisil din sa legs ko. Manyakis talaga! Walang pinipiling oras.

Umalis na siya sa tabi ko, malamang ay nagpunta ng kusina para siguro ilagay sa fridge ang ice cream. Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras kong piniling nakapikit lang hanggang sa tuluyan na akong makatulog. Paggising ko nga ay nasa kama na ako at nakakumot pa.

"Good afternoon, babe. Hindi ka na nakakain ng breakfast, I prepared a lot for you to eat." He kissed my forehead.

Kumunot ang noo ko dahil naka-formal pa siya ngayon. May lakad siya? Bakit hindi ko alam?

Lumabas siya sandali at pagbalik niya ay madala na siyang isang maliit na mesa kung nasaan ang mga pagkain. I have to admit that for a pregnant woman, I don't have much appetite for food. Mas gusto kong laging natutulog at kakain lang kapag gutom na gutom. I know it's a bad habit for my baby but what can I do? I vomit a lot if I force myself.

"Brunch in bed," he said and put that table beside me.

"Thank you," I said and look at the food he prepared. May pabulaklak pa si attorney.

"Eat now." Kinuha niya ang kutsara at inabot sa akin.

"What's with you now, attorney? Ba't sobrang sweet mo yata?" I asked him and started eating.

"This is the best that I can do for you during your pregnancy. Noong nalaman ni mommy na buntis ka, sinampal niya ako nang malakas. Sabi niya bata mo pa raw para buntisin ko. Hindi nga siya pabor sa atin noong nalaman niya ang edad mo pero sabi ko ay mababaliw ako kapag hindi ikaw ang naging asawa ko." Tumingin siya sa akin. "Sorry, nabuntis kita nang maaga."

Ngumiti ako. "Ano ang gusto mong gawin ngayon?"

Bumuntonghininga siya. "I want you to enjoy your life without any worries. If you want to abort the baby, it's okay. We'll just try-"

Kinurot ko ang braso niya. "What are you talking about? Don't say that. I want this baby." Niyakap ko ang tiyan ko at napaiyak na lang. Just thinking of abortion makes me cry.

"Okay, we will keep the baby. I'm so sorry." He kissed my forehead.

"You don't have to feel sorry because you got me pregnant. I want this to happen. I am very aware that this might happen because I am making love with you without any protection. Oo, natatakot ako pero hindi ko naman naisip na ipalaglag ito. Nandito na siya, I'll just have to prepare myself." Bumuntonghininga ako.

"Okay, that's so good to hear. Akala ko ay malungkot ka kasi buntis ka tapos nahihirapan ka pa ngayon. Don't worry, I'll do everything you want to make you feel better."

Kinagat ko ang pang-ibabang labi ko. "Marry me, sir."

He caressed my face. "Are you proposing to me?"

"Tagal mo, eh! Nainip na ako! Ang dami ko pang kaagaw sa 'yo. Hangga't wala kang asawa at singsing sa kamay mo, feeling ng mga babae ay available ka pa, nakakainis lang talaga. Ayoko na sana silang pansinin pero nalalaglag kasi ang panty nila tuwing napapatingin sa 'yo." Kinurot ko ang magkabila niyang pisngi.

"I'm all yours, babe. Nothing to worry about. I might attract those girls but I will go home with you, remember that."

I ate peacefully that moment. Naubos ko ang hinanda niya kahit napakarami no'n. I even looked for my vanilla ice cream. Yum!

"Where are we going ba kasi?" I asked him after one and a half hour of driving.

"I'll take you on a date to a special place." Kumindat pa siya sa akin.

Hindi man sabihin kung saan. The place we are in right now wasn't familiar to me at all.

"Are you going to propose to me?" tanong ko na ikinalaki ng mga mata niya.

"Babe! You spoiled my surprise!" Ngumuso siya at halatang magdadabog pagkarating namin sa pupuntahan namin.

"It's alright. At least, you are proposing to a nice place not in a hospital. Excited na ako!" Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at hinintay na lang na makarating kami sa lugar na sinasabi niya.

It was a beautiful seaside restaurant. Walang tao maliban sa amin at sa mga staff, halatang ni-reserve na naman niya ang lugar. They were petals of flowers scattered around the wooden floor and the table right in the middle of the resto is so aesthetically pleasing to my eyes.

"Although you spoiled my surprise, your eyes don't lie that you like this setup. You love beach, right?" he whispered.

"Yeah, I am delighted, more than happy, I guess."

He made me sit on a extravagant chair, he sat also on the chair in front of me. He called the waiter and moments later, we are enjoying our delicious dinner, seafood feast. It's a little messy, but I don't mind.

I noticed something's off with that oyster's shell in the middle of the platter. I picked it up and opened it. My jaw dropped on the floor. Inside of it was a golden ring surrounded by pearls and diamonds.

"Wow!" I ran out of words. Nalunok ko yata ang dila ko.

"Marry me, Tarra Vincenza. Let's be with each other forever. Please, marry me." Kinuha niya ang singsing sa shell at nilahad sa akin.

Sinuot ko muna sa palasingsingan ko ang singsing bago siya tinanguan.

"I'll marry you, Attorney. Thank you for fulfilling my request, this is beyond awesome." I kissed his lips and I know this will be the start of our new life with this little peanut inside me.
