On hot summer nights, I'll go outside and look at the stars. There are 2, in particular, that come out early. I've named them Lukas and Mira, just like the two friends I once had. Lukas is duller but comes and goes quickly. Mira, on the other hand, is bright, but slowly fades into the night sky as the darkness fades. Then I'll bounce the yellow ball a few time and go back in to artificial lighting and cooling. I'll dream of the adventures that we had together, and it'll feel like I'm reliving the 4 months.
