A year passed and the world was much more stable after the short "Demonic War." It was called as such since it was the turning point for the Demonic Elementalists. They were able to overthrow the rule of their counterpart: the Righteous Elementalists. And despite this frightening change that people thought that would start the end of the world, nothing huge happened. Of course, there were exceptions. Both Righteous Elementalists and Demonic Elementalists were ruled by Tin himself. Even though the Righteous Elementalists believed that Tin betrayed them, they were unable to resist him since they were weakened. Who would even dare go against him? He was the pinnacle of power in this world. So, the Righteous Elementalists could only obey his wishes. As for Tin, even though the Righteous Elementalists community did not accept him wholeheartedly, he was still merciful enough to treat them as equal with the Demonic Elementalists. He wanted to erase the division between these two factions. At the moment, it seemed to be impossible, but he wanted to try.

As for the Beast Summoners, Ae, naturally, was the appointed leader. There were some who opposed him since his father began the war and created a massive cult to harness the power of the King of the Beast. Also, the B.S.G would be solely responsible for the reparations of destruction for starting the war that not everyone was willing to join, to begin with. If it were not for Ae's father, this would not happen at all! Now, not only was their reputation and power ruined, but they were also losing money! Still, for the majority, they chose Ae. He went against his own father because he knew that it was the right thing to do. Besides no one would dare directly go against him as he was backed by the two most powerful individuals in the world: Tin and Can. In addition, he held the Honglyun Sword.

It would certainly seem tyrannic to know that these people were being governed by fear even if it was not the intention both Tin and Ae wanted. If only these people knew the full truth and accepted the truth even if it was painful, they would change their opinions about their new respected appointed leaders. Yet, in this world, emotions tend to govern most people and not through reasoning. So, although it might be harsh, wielding power was a necessary tool for both Ae and Tin to bring authority to these people. It was necessary if they wanted to promote peace and stability in this ever changing world.

While these two were busy reforming their organizations for the better, Can was busy planting Mythic level seeds in his master's garden. This process of planting was quite complicated as it required a complete concentration of spiritual energy. Everything must be done perfectly, so any forms of distraction could cause the seed to explode and turn into a puff of smoke.

"Are you done yet!?" Master Khang suddenly blurted from a distance with Dokebi holding coconut juice above his head.

This sudden disturbance caused Can to jolt from surprise, which resulted with the seed that he was holding to explode on his face. Thankfully, the explosion was not something to be concerned about as it was harmless. The only unfortunate thing was that Can was now covered in white powder. Some of it went inside his mouth.

"Ack!" he coughed as he tried to remove the powder inside his mouth. It was so bitter!

"You lost your focus again. How many times I told you not to get distracted?" Master Khang shook his head in disappointment.

"Mas-" Can paused as he coughed. "You were the one who distracted me!"

"What I'm hearing are excuses," Master Khang replied as he slurped coconut juice with a bamboo straw.

"Go on. Do it again. You've already graduated from the university and you're still like this. At this rate, this garden wouldn't flourish when I die knowing my disciple isn't attentive enough," he continued in an unbothered tone.

Can faced his master with his face full of white powder while scratching his head, "Come on, master, don't say that. I'll do it again."

Even though his master was just making fun of him, he did not want to hear him joking about death.

Seeing that he made his disciple sad, he jokingly said, "I won't die yet. I'll live for another thousand years. Now, go! I won't distract you anymore."

With Dokebi by his side, Old Man Khang left.

When Old Man Khang went back to Phoenix Garden after being abducted, he witnessed the devastation that was left. It was thanks to both Tin and Can that he was able to restore his garden to its former state. The only thing that did not go back to its former state was his contracted beasts. When he noticed the changes from them, he knew that Tin must have done something with them. Later on, Tin confessed to him about the new souls inserted to resurrect his contracted beasts. Although he was not surprised, it still devastated him. He was not at all disturbed with what Tin did. He was thankful even because he would not know how he would react if his contracted beasts disappeared completely by his side. Even if they were not his real contracted beasts anymore, he still would want to pretend that they were still the same. He knew that it was selfish, but it did not matter to him. In return for helping him, Tin asked Old Man Khang not to reveal the truth to Can as not to reopen his wounds from the past. The old man clearly understood this, so he agreed.

Several hours had passed and it was already about to turn dark. After changing to more comfortable clothes, Can rushed outside of the Phoenix Garden after he bid goodbye to his old master. Tao Gunka, as usual, was talkative as he transported Can back to the university.

"Thank you, Tao Gunka! I'm sorry, I'm in a rush. Talk to you later!" he explained as he ran outside of the university. Hopefully, he would not be late for his appointment.

Outside the gates of the university, there was a black car waiting. When Can saw it opening the door behind it, he immediately went in. He knew that it was Tin's old driver.

"Sorry for making you wait," Can said while huffing.

"No, worries sir. You're on time," Tin's driver said. As soon as Can got in, they drove to the location of his appointment. Can personally did not know where he was going as this was too sudden, but Tin just told him to be prepared.

Taking out his phone, he texted his mother.

"I won't be home today."

The moment he sent it, he received a reply immediately.

"Okay."

Can frowned. Usually, when he would go out, his mother would ask where he would go. This time she did not ask at all.

He texted his sister, Ley.

"Are you at home?"

Just like his mother, as soon as he sent that message, he received an answer immediately. "Yep, with mom. What's the matter?"

Realizing that he was overthinking, he replied back. "Nothing. I won't be home tonight."

Ley texted back. "I know. mom told me. LOL!"

"...."

Can turned off his phone. Since he was a little tired, he could not help it but take a quick nap. He trusted Tin's old driver, so he leaned back to his seat and closed his eyes. The moment he opened them, he was drooling.

"We're here, sir," the old driver smiled in the front mirror.

"H-how long have I been taking a nap?" Can was embarrassed as he looked outside his window to see where they were while wiping the drool from his mouth.

"About an hour," the old man replied.

"That long? I'm sorry!" Can turned to face him in shock.

"It's alright. The drive to get here took about an hour. Go on Mr. Rathavit. Grandmaster Tin is waiting for you."

"Ah. I see. T-thank you." Can got out of the car.

He looked around once again and noticed the string of yellow lights attached to the huge concrete stairs that seemed to lead somewhere. It was a little dark as his view was concealed by a huge mansion in front of him, so he was not exactly sure where he was.

Following the string of lights upstairs, he was led to the beautiful scenery of the sea. The beautiful night sky was clear and filled with wonderful illuminating stars. It was a full moon too, so the scenery was much more evident. Can realized that he was in some kind of resort. The fresh cold sea breeze embraced him, which woke him from complete sleepiness. The sounds of the calm waves were quite soothing to hear. What a wonderful feeling!

Realizing that the yellow lights led to a wooden gazebo near the sea, he removed his shoes and walked barefoot. As he continued, he could feel the fine white sand.

(A/N: Example of a gazebo. Pic not mine.)

Checking the wooden gazebo, he noticed a man wearing a white long sleeve shirt and white shorts standing in front of it. He was silently waiting while smiling.

"You should've told me that we're going to be on a beach," Can shouted excitedly as he approached Tin.

"Then it wouldn't be a surprise," Tin replied as he offered his hand to Can.

"You're right," Can lightly giggled as he grabbed Tin's hand. He was then led to his seat.

The setting of the inside of the gazebo was simple. Aside from the yellow lights that surrounded them, there were two chairs and a table set up.

A lot of dishes were laid down on the table. They were all Can's favorite food.

"You prepared all of this? That must've taken you a while," Can said with much admiration.

"I'll do anything to make you happy and make this night perfect," Tin replied.

Can directly looked into Tin's eyes. "Eating at your place would've been also perfect. Anything that you make would automatically give me happiness."

"A change of atmosphere shouldn't be bad," Tin said as he gestured to Can to eat. "Go on and eat. I wanted to show you something later,"

"What are you going to show me?" Can became curious all of a sudden.

"Can," Tin whispered as he put food on Can's plate.

"Oh..okay. Later. Eat first," Can scratched his head.

Tin only smiled as he served Can more food.

As they ate, aside from the sound of the waves, there was laughter and talk of love mixed in. It was just a special happy moment for the two. After what they have gone through and dealing with the aftermath of the war, they were finally able to spend time together alone without thinking of their problems. There were only the two of them together in this small beautiful world that they were in.

After eating, Tin held Can's hand and led him towards the sea. With the guidance of the light from the sky, the two were able to navigate the area smoothly.

"Where are we going exactly, Tin?" Can asked as he looked at the wonderful sky.

"Here, take this," Tin said as he handed Can something.

"A stone?" Can examined what it was that Tin gave him, but he was sure that it was only an ordinary stone.

Tin only kept his smile. "Throw it in the ocean."

Can faced Tin, but he did not say anything. With the stone on his hand, Can threw the stone in the water.

As soon as the stone hit the calm waters, a ripple was created. With that ripple, a blue light came with it.

(A/N: Pic not mine.)

Can's eyes widened, "Woah! What was that?"

Tin gave Can another stone. "Go ahead," Tin said.

Can nodded happily and threw the stone in the water. The beautiful blue light showed again when a disturbance was created with the water.

"It's bioluminescent," Tin said as he continued to explain this wonderful phenomenon.

(A/N: I'm not gonna go into details, but if you want to know what I'm talking about: Search "Bioluminescent Bays" on Youtube. Definitely beautiful!)

"That's quite amazing! It's beautiful." Can's smile widened as he threw stones in the water that were given to him by Tin. He could not get enough of this great view.

While giving Can stones to throw in the ocean filled with planktons, Tin took out a small red box from his pocket with his other hand. He took a deep breath and slowly brought this red box closer to Can. As he was about to kneel, Can took the red box, thinking that it was another stone, and threw it in the ocean.

"Ahh! That made a bigger ripple! Awesome!" Can shouted in delight.

"...."
