During some time at the Duel Center Dakota and Izuku ended up meeting Joey Wheeler and the night after the first day of UA Dakota found himself in a ball room area along with seeing Izuku and Bakugo

Dakota: What the?!

Izuku: How the?!

Bakugo: Where the hell are we?!

Dakota: Hey don't look at me I'm just as confused as you guys are

???: It is time for them to be released

All: Huh?!

As the voice spoke it then formed into the Dark Magician Girl shocking the trio

Izuku: Wait? Your Dark Magician Girl?!

DMG: Yep and you Dakota are here to release the three Legendary Dragons

All: Huh?

Bakugo: So why are Deku and I here if this is for Snowcap here?!

DMG: Cause there will be a time where a group of the strongest duelists will be needed and you three are the strongest out of all

Izuku: A group of the strongest duelists

DMG: Yes. You see a group of pure evil will arrive soon and only the strongest duelists can defeat them

Bakugo: So who are they?

DMG: There are a total of nine of you as you Katsuki Bakugo, Izuku Midoriya and Dakota Midoriya are the three most strongest we've seen

Dakota: You mean as Duel Spirits

Just then Kidmodo Dragon appeared beside Dakota as Winged Kuriboh appeared next to Izuku and Fire Fox appeared on Bakugo's shoulder

DMG: Each of you as well as the other six have the ability to see, hear, and talk to Duel Spirits. Now Dakota you must pull the swords out of each dragon to break their seal

Dakota: Alright

Dakota did as he was told as each dragon broke out of their crystalized prison and roared as they looked down at the one who freed them and disappeared

DMG: Now when the time is right you'll all be entrusted with a certain card

Dakota: So Bakugo you think this is all a dream right?

Bakugo: Tch please I highly doubt anyone of us would dream of each other being in the same place

Izuku: So you believe everything that was said

Bakugo: Obviously

With that it showed each of them waking up the next morning and as Dakota looked through his deck the three dragons were there

Dakota: No way

Timeskip

Everyone was at UA, but the morning classes were just regular school classes which they all found boring until it was lunchtime

Dakota was walking down then noticed his brother with Iida, Momo, and two other girls and decided to sit with them

Dakota: Hey there bro so this is your friend group

Izuku: Pretty much

Uraraka: Nice to meet you I'm Ochako Uraraka

Tsu: I'm Tsuyu Asui, but just call me Tsu

Dakota: Noted

In the middle of lunch they were talking until Izuku mentioned Bakugo

Dakota: Tch he's a short tempered, hotheaded, and prideful duelist

Iida: How are you able to tell

Dakota: From simply looking at his deck

Iida: Huh?

Izuku: It's Dakota's thing. He can pretty much read someone based off their deck

Dakota: Yep

Uraraka: That's pretty cool

Dakota: Thanks

Iida: So Dakota would you mind looking at our decks. I think we could have a better friendship if so

Dakota: Eh why not? Alright for this I need concentration

Dakota simply looked through Iida's, Uraraka's, and Tsu's decks then spoke

Dakota: Okay Iida you use a Speedroid deck meaning you're quick to take action when needed and quick to think

Iida: I see

Dakota: However though the downfall is that you're also quick to judge like you did back at the exam

Iida: I do see it just like everyone even someone's deck can have their downfalls

Dakota: Yep. Uraraka you use a Frightfur deck which also has Fluffal monsters. Meaning your great at making friends and can make anyone happy

Uraraka: Thanks Dakota

Dakota: That being said that's just the Fluffal part the part of you that represents your Frightfur's is you don't tend to hold back if someone you care deeply for or yourself is in danger

Uraraka: Wow never thought about it like that

Dakota: Alright last, but not least is Tsu. Seeing your deck I saw that you may look weak, but there's more than meets the eye for you. Your traps are what represents that hidden strength of yours too

Tsu: Thanks Dakota

Dakota: No problem

Momo: What about me Dakota

Dakota looked at Momo and slightly blushed, but ended up fading since he realized he didn't have a chance

Dakota: Easy. Your deck said your a powerful fighter or in this case duelist and you always have your friends by your side to help

Momo smiled and what he said as they all continued to talk

Everyone was in their class waiting for their teacher to show until someone walked in

Toshinori: Greetings everyone I'm Toshinori Yagi as most of you might know this class will teach you the true meaning of becoming a pro duelist.

Everyone was amazed and impressed that Toshinori Yagi is a teacher here at UA

Toshinori: Well you all seem excited, so I won't waste time. You all will be really pumped for this because today's lesson is Duel Training!

Izuku: This should be interesting

Dakota: ALRIGHT!!!

Bakugo: LETS GO!!!

Toshinori: As you all know there's more to a duelist than knowledge there's drama, flare, and most of all style.

Suitcases then popped out from the side of the wall and was labeled by numbers

Toshinori: These are your dueling outfits you submitted to have brought to reality, so get suited up and meet me at the testing grounds

All: Yes sir!

In the changing room Dakota was switching his outfit while the others couldn't see him

Kirishima: Hey Dakota why you hiding

Dakota: Well sorry Kirishima, but I didn't know you or the others wanted to see me in my underwear

Kirishima: Huh?

Dakota: I literally have a complete set of different clothes for my dueling outfit including pants

After Dakota was finished Bakugo pulled both him and Izuku aside to talk privately

Izuku: What is it Kacchan

Bakugo: Do either of you remember that place from last night

Dakota: You mean where we met Dark Magician Girl

Bakugo: Of course I mean that one Snowcap

Izuku: What about it

Bakugo: Look after school come to my place

Dakota: Um, okay?

After that Bakugo left

Izuku: Well that's got to be the least violent chat I had with Kacchan

Dakota: Same

As everyone was walking out Izuku left as well with Dakota searching through his deck for something

Everyone is out in their outfits some resembling some popular duelists while others are their own design except for one

Toshinori: Young Izuku where is your brother

Izuku: He should be here...

???: *ear piercing screeching roar*

Everyone looked to where the noise came from and a large serpent with four wings flew out and up in the air

Sero: Isn't that Rainbow Dragon?

Iida: It is...

Mina: Hey is that Dakota?!

Everyone looked closer to see Dakota on top of Rainbow Dragon's head as well as turning on a enhanced Bluetooth speaker due to some tech work at the duel center

At the end Dakota slid down his dragon and and landed with the others as Rainbow Dragon let out a roar before disappearing

Dakota was wearing a dragon shirt, dark ripped jeans, dragon designed shoes, a blue fire dragon jacket, and a dragon hat

Kirishima: Woah bro! That has got to be the most manliest thing I've ever seen and your outfit is amazing

Dakota: Thanks Kirishima. Yours isn't half bad either I'd definitely give points for word play

Kaminari: Your insane man!

Dakota: Why's that?

Sero: You just finished jumping off a dragon from who knows how many feet in the air and yet you're totally calm

Dakota: I'm just that daring you know

Toshinori: Excellent performance Young Dakota take it to heart everyone what makes a pro duelist known is a dramatic entrance. Now then let's get started with what you'll be doing today. You'll all be participating in tag team duels against each other. All of you will be selected a teammate at random then it will be chosen on what team you'll be dueling against. As for the rules one member of the team starts then someone on the opposing team starts their turn then it'll go back to the starter team and finish with the opposing team. In other ways it's a alternating cycle understand?

The class nodded their heads saying they understood

Iida: Teaming up with each other already seems a little more extreme don't you think

Izuku: Think about it in this way Iida we're bound to be in a situation like this so getting a better understanding about our decks and classmates could come in handy

Iida: That is true and getting a better grasp on your teammates deck might help us understand each other

Toshinori: You would be correct Young Izuku and Iida. Now any questions?

Momo: Will we be criticized on this

Uraraka: Will we be expelled if we fail

Bakugo/Dakota: Can we go all out

Toshinori: One at a time please. Anyways yes Yaoyorozu you will be criticized, but only as far as to point out what you can improve. No one will expelled if you fail this so don't worry too much. Bakugo and Dakota yes you can go all out it wouldn't be much of a duel if you didn't. Now let's see who the teams are

Kirishima: Wow who's ever up against Dakota and Izuku they might be in a pretty tough spot

Tsu: Especially since they're brothers, so they have to be pretty powerful as a team

Dakota: Well so much for our rivalry

Izuku: Let's just have a temporary truce for now

Dakota: Agreed

Toshinori: The teams are set, but now it's time to determine who is up against who

The teams were being shuffled until it stopped and the first team battle

Team A V.S Team B

The Midoriya brothers looked at Bakugo as he was glaring at both of them and they glared right back

B/I/D: *thoughts* Show me what you got

As Toshinori and the rest of the class left to the observation room both teams went to their own area thinking of a strategy for themselves

Dakota: Okay we both know Bakugo is going to try and take total control of the duel so he can bring out Doomfire

Izuku: True and if he does then we can only attack it, but it has 3000 attack points

Dakota: Your forgetting something bro I have dragons stronger than that creature and all you need is avian, burstinatrix, Skyscraper, and Polymerization

Izuku: True. Oh before I forget dad gave me this

Dakota looked at it and was amazed at how it a fusion of one of his and Izuku's powerful monsters

Dakota: This will definitely come in handy, but we got to remember we have 10 minutes

Izuku: Right

The brothers walked out and Dakota noticed Momo talking to Shoto and ended up feeling jealous and somewhat pissed

At the observation room

The others are waiting for the duel to start and Touya noticed Dakota looking up and saw what he saw

Touya: *thought* Be careful little brother. Trust me you don't want to end up on Dakota's dark side of the moon believe me it isn't so joyful as what he is now

Mina: Who do you guys think is going to win

Kirishima: I'm actually not sure. It's true that Bakugo's Doomfire is powerful, but Dakota has that Rainbow Dragon and probably even more powerful dragons than that

Sero: Not to mention Izuku and Dakota are brothers, so they practically already know how to work together

Momo: It's more than that guys

Shoto: How so?

Momo: While dueling separately Izuku can bring a powerful monster on his first turn. As for Dakota he can turn absolutely nothing into completely something. Dakota might look like he's losing, but when you least expect it he'll show you that he was winning the whole time. When they're dueling together though it's as if they're one person being in perfect sync with each other and they know what each other has before they summon it. You'll see what I mean soon enough

Shoto: You speak very highly of them especially Dakota

Momo: I respect the both of them as duelists, friends, and people themselves. Dakota might seem a little hostile at first, but once you gain his trust he's not that bad

Kirishima: That's right he did mention he had trust issues

Kaminari: Well then we're just going to have to prove how trusting we can be

Sero: Yeah

Mina: Count me in

Momo then smiled seeing four of her classmates already wanting to gain Dakota's trust

While Shoto seemed to be passive about what Momo said he was actually livid

Back with the four duelists

The two teams walked to the stadium and placed their decks down as they all glared at each other

All: LETS DUEL

Bakugo/Iida: 16000 LP
Izuku/Dakota: 16000 LP
Time: 10:00

Just like that the duel started

Bakugo: I'll go first. I summon Volcanic Shell and place two cards face down then activate Blaze Accelerator and end my turn

Dakota: My move, I draw! I'll summon Armed Dragon LV3 and place two cards face down and end my turn

Iida: My turn. I summon Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice and now I activate the spell Speedlift which allows to summon a level 4 or lower monster. Now I summon Speedroid Marble Machine. Now I tune my monsters together to summon Hi-Speedroid Cork Shooter! Now I use his effect bringing my monsters back and I end my turn

Izuku: My turn. I now activate the spell Polymerization and fuse Elemental HERO Avian and Burstinatrix to summon Elemental HERO Flame Wingman! I place one card face down and end my turn

Bakugo: My turn now. I summon Volcanic Counter in attack mode and now I'll destroy my Blaze Accelerator to activate my Tri Blaze Accelerator and end my turn

Dakota: My move, I draw! *thought* Damnit I thought they would argue with each other, but they're focused on themselves. Wait I can use that

Izuku looked at Dakota worried while all Dakota gave him was a wink

Dakota: First since it's my standby phase I can sacrifice Armed Dragon LV3 to summon Armed Dragon LV5! Now I activate the field spell Mountain giving my dragons 200 extra points. I'll place two more cards face down and end my turn

Iida: My turn. I draw, I now summon Speedroid Taketomborg and now I tune him with Cork Shooter to synchro summon Hi-Speedroid Kendama! Now by banishing Cork Shooter from my graveyard you two take 500 points of damage

Midoriyas: 15500 LP

Iida: I end my turn

Izuku: My turn, I draw. I activate the spell Double Summon this lets me summon twice this turn and I summon my Beginning Knight and Evening Twilight Knight in attack mode. I end my turn

Bakugo: My move!

Bakugo looked at his hand and could only smirk

Bakugo: Now I activate my last face down Volcanic Force!

Dakota: Shit!

Izuku: Damnit!

Bakugo: Now by destroying Tri Blaze Accelerator I can summon Volcanic Doomfire!

As Bakugo's monster rose to the field Izuku and Dakota looked scared, but smirked

Bakugo: You two won't be smirking for long! Doomfire attack Deku's Beginning Knight

Dakota: Sorry Bakugo, but I'm jumping in and activating my trap Shadow Spell which not only keeps your Doomfire in attack mode it also loses 700 attack points

Bakugo: Grr damnit Snowcap! I end my turn

Dakota: My turn, I draw! I activate the spell card, Card of Sanctity allowing all of us to draw until we have six cards in our hand

They all drew the respectful number of cards and Dakota and Izuku's plan was almost ready

In the Observation room

Oujiro: Woah, Dakota really pulled a fast one on Bakugo there

Tokoyami: It's almost like he knew he was going to do that

Momo: Your correct Tokoyami. Dakota knew Bakugo would bring out Doomfire so he had a trap waiting for it on his first turn. Now Dakota can destroy it

At the duel

Dakota: First I use the card Fang of Critias and use it to fuse with my Ring of Destruction

Both Izuku and Bakugo were shocked seeing the dragon Dakota freed from the place last night

Izuku: So it wasn't just a dream

Bakugo: This means he has the other two as well

Dakota: Behold the powerful Destruction Dragon

A armor plated dragon appeared on Dakota's side of the field with a drill like tail with one blade on each side and a red gem on its head

Dakota: Now I use my dragon's effect which allows me to destroy a monster like your Kendama, Iida then you take damage equal to the original attack it had

Iida: What?!

Dakota: Yep

Destruction Dragon grabbed Kendama with his tail as the drill bit spun into Iida's monster

Iida/Bakugo: 13800 LP

Dakota: Now attack his dice Destruction Dragon!

Iida/Bakugo: 11700 LP

Dakota: Now Armed Dragon attack Bakugo's Doomfire

Iida/Bakugo: 11400 LP

Dakota: I end my turn and because of that Armed Dragon levels up to Armed Dragon LV7

Iida: My turn. I summon Speedroid Double Yo-yo and I'll use its effect to bring back Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice. Now I'll tune them together to synchro summon Hi-Speedroid Puzzle and I'll attack your Destruction Dragon, Dakota

Dakota: What your puzzle is weaker though

Iida: Actually his effect lets his attack points double making him have 3800

Dakota: Damnit

Midoriyas: 13900 LP

Iida: I end my turn

Izuku: My turn. I draw! I now activate the spell Black Luster Ritual!

Bakugo: No!

Iida: No!

Dakota: Yes!

Izuku: Now by sacrificing my two knights I can summon the Black Luster Soldier! Now Soldier attack Volcanic Shell

Iida/Bakugo: 8500 LP

Izuku: Now, Wingman attack Volcanic Counter

Iida/Bakugo: 6700 LP

Izuku: Also you take damage equal to your monster's attack points

Iida/Bakugo: 6400 LP

Izuku: I end my turn

Bakugo: My move! I activate Ancient Rules to summon Volcanic Hammerer and normal summon Zoroa, the Magistus of Flame. Now I'll use Hammerer's effect dealing you both 200 points of damage for every Volcanic monster in my graveyard which is 600

Midoriyas: 13300 LP

Bakugo: Now I'll tune my monsters to synchro summon Inferno Soul - Beast of Pure Fire in attack mode. Lucky for you I can't attack due to Volcanic Hammerer's effect, so I end my turn

Dakota: My move, I draw! Now I activate my face down Level Up which allows me to send a monster like my Armed Dragon LV7 to the graveyard to summon Armed Dragon LV10. That's not all now I use my Polymerization to fuse my three Blue-Eyes into the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon

Everyone, but Momo was shocked however that wasn't everything Dakota could do

Dakota: Izuku would you mind if I borrowed your Black Luster Soldier

Izuku: Not at all bro do as you please

Dakota: Thanks. I use Super Polymerization by discarding one card I can fuse my Ultimate Dragon with my brother's Soldier to summon the one and only Dragon Master Knight!! He also gains 500 attack points because of Armed Dragon

Class: 5500 attack points?!

Dakota: Now, Armed Dragon attack Iida's Puzzle

Iida/Bakugo: 5300 LP

Dakota: Now, Dragon Master attack Bakugo's Inferno Soul!

Iida/Bakugo: 2900 LP

Dakota: I end my turn

Iida: My move. *thought* Err there's nothing I can do. *out loud* I end my turn

Izuku: My turn. I draw! I now activate Fusion Substitute, but first Dakota do you mind

Dakota: What's mine is yours bro

Izuku: I fuse my Wingman with Dakota's Armed Dragon LV 7 from the graveyard to summon Elemental HERO Armed Wingman!

Izuku: Now his effect activates where he gains 100 attack points from the combined levels of our monsters. Meaning he gains 1300 attack points giving him 3400 attack points!

Dakota/Izuku: THIS IS THE STRENGTH WE POSSESS TOGETHER BAKUGO! NOW PREPARE TO LOSE!

Izuku: Armed Wingman attack Kacchan directly with Inferno Terror!

Iida/Bakugo: 0 LP

The duel ended as the brothers left Iida and Bakugo were in shock and it was the same for the rest of the class

Toshinori: *thought* With that brother bond of theirs they have enough strength to win every duel together. *out loud* Now can anyone tell me what was the MVP monster on the field?

Hagakure: Wouldn't it be Dakota's Dragon Master Knight?

Most of the class agreed with Hagakure, but Momo had a different answer

Momo: Sir! It would be Dakota's Armed Dragon LV3 without it he wouldn't have been able to bring out LV10.

Toshinori: Correct, but can you tell me why Iida and Bakugo lost

Momo: They were both focused on themselves instead of each other unlike Dakota and Izuku who had a plan from the very beginning. While Iida and Bakugo were just winging it.

Toshinori: Yes indeed. During tag team matches you have to look after your teammate more than yourself

Class: Yes sir!

Dakota and Izuku returned as the others saw them talking about how amazing they did

Momo then waved at Dakota who waved back, but seemed a little down

Izuku: You good bro?

Dakota: I don't know. I mean I like Momo, but she's out of my league and then there's Shoto...

Izuku: Your jealous.

Dakota: I know that, but I don't want to all I want is Momo to be happy because that's the only way I can be happy

Little did the two brothers know Momo overheard their conversation and had an idea

When the others went Dakota watched and was quiet impressed by some of them those being Kirishima, Mina, Kaminari, Sero, Tsu, Uraraka, and Momo especially

Everyone was introducing themselves and Momo walked up to Dakota

Momo: Hey, Dakota can I talk to you in private

Dakota: Oh! Sure thing

The two walked out of the class which caused Mina and Kirishima to follow as they saw them near the gate of UA

Mina: I wonder what they're talking about

Kirishima: Beats me

Outside

Dakota: So what did you want to talk... mph

Dakota along with Mina and Kirishima were all shocked at the fact that Momo Yaoyorozu kissed Dakota Midoriya

Momo then pulled back with a small smile

Dakota: You... you kissed me?

Momo: Yes isn't that what you wanted

Dakota: It's not that it's just why me out of everyone

Momo: Cause Dakota everyone I dueled were just doing it for their own selfish desires, but you show something I haven't seen until I dueled you

Dakota: What's that?

Momo: Heart and Spirit

Dakota was amazed at what she told him and made him brave enough for him to kiss her right back

Momo was caught off guard, but kissed him back

Next time on A Midoriya With Fire. What they thought would be a normal school day like the other previous ones turns into a lesson about the darker side of Duel Monsters.
