"Look Miss Dupain-Cheng you are blessed to have survived a heart attack such as the one you had."  The doctor tells her.

   "I figured this out from the test I ran on you earlier."  the doctor says.

   "You stayed unconscious for so long because you have a hole in your heart. You will need surgery soon."  the doctor says

  "You will need to let your loved ones know as you might not survive the surgery." the doctor says

   "I have no family.  My parents died years ago."  Marinette says.

   "I have no siblings.  Just my friends, Alya and Nino, and Adrien."  Marinette says. She begins to cry.

     "I am sorry to have to bring such bad news." the doctor remarks.

     "The surgery is in two days.  Bye,"  the doctor leaves to go care for other patients.

    After the doctor leaves, Marinette sends a text to Alya...

      Marinette's  text to Alya... The doctor says I need surgery soon!  It's heart surgery!  I am so afraid!  The surgery is in two days! 

    Alya's text to Marinette...Wow, girl!  You want me to come?

    Marinette's text to Alya...Yes, please!  You are the closest thing I have to a sister!  Oh, and the docor says their is a chance I might not survive the surgery.

    Marinette's text to Alya...  If I die, then thanks for being my best friend and take good care of Nino for me.

    Marinette sends a text to Adrien next.

    Marinette's text to Adrien... Adrien, I have to tell you something important. :(

      Adrien hears his phone buzz.  He looks and sees the text from Marinette.  He sees the sad face.

    Adrien feel sad, he sighs and thinks, Marinette, I love you!  He gets in his car, drives back to the hospital and cries his whole way there.  He thinks, please hang in there, Marinette!  

He arrives safe and sound, parks his car and goes back to see her.  He thinks, I can not wait til tomorrow!  I have to see her now.

   Once Adrien reaches the room, he enters it and blushes.  He sits down beside her once more.

   "Adrien, you came!"  Marinette says as soon as she sees him.

   "Yes, of course, I did.  You sent me a text with  a sad face.  I was worried.  I had to come." Adrien says.

  "Adrien, I am sorry, I have to have surgery soon.  It is only two days from now."  Marinette says.

   "What?"  Adrien says.  He gets up, stands closer and holds her hand.  He cries.

   "I only found out after you left.  Look this is so hard, I might not survive the surgery."  Marinette says

    "No, you must not talk this way.  You are my friend, and I -I still love you!"  Adrien says.  He feels the tears continue to fall down his cheeks.

    Alya enters the room next.  Her eyes are full of tears as well. 

 "Marinette, you can not die!" Alya says.

  Marinette is still in shock over the fact, Adrien still loves her.

 "Look, I am sorry, Adrien, and Alya!  I just had to let you know."  Marinette says.

"Adrien, please promise me you will find someone else."  Marinette says sadly.

 "Marinette, I can not promise this. I love you!  I need you!"  Adrien says.

   "Marinette, I promise to always be here for you.  I will always love you even if you never love me back."  Adrien says.

   "Marinette promise if you make it that you will not forget me."  Adrien says.  He frowns and looks at the floor.

   "I promise, but only because you are my other best friend, next to Alya."  Marinette says.

    Two days later, Marinette has the surgery.   Alya and Nino sit in the waiting room to hear about Marinette.   Adrien is next to them, he thinks as he waits,  Marinette please live!  He looks rather down.

  The doctor comes out.  

"Good news, Nino, Alya and Adrien!"  the doctor says.

  "Marinette,  survived the surgery!"  the doctor tells them.

   "She is back in the room we had her in earlier, and ask to see you all."  the doctor says.

    "Thank you, so much  doctor!"  Adrien says. He breathes a sigh of relief. He is glad Marinette is okay.

   "Yes, thanks doctor!"  Alya and Nino says together.

    Nino, Alya and Adrien go to see Marinette. 

  "Hey, guys!  Glad you could make it!"  Marinette says when she sees her friends enter the room.

"Marinette, is so good to see you!"  Adrien says, he goes over to her, holds her hand again and blushes.

    Marinette blushes as well.  "Adrien, the doctor says I can go home tomorrow! "  Marinette says.

   "Wow, that is great Marinette!  You have beautiful eyes!"  Adrien says.  He blushes even more.

  "We will be going now!  Bye, see you later, Adrien and Marinette!"  Alya and Nino says.  Then, they leave.

  Adrien gently brushes a loose piece of hair from Marinette's  face.   He thinks, I want to kiss you so badly.  He looks at her and says,  "Marinette, may I ?"

   "Adrien, I am so sorry.  I am not ready for another relationship yet."  Marinette says.

   "I see."  Adrien says.  He sighs and lets go of her hand.

  Marinette cries.  "Please, do not be sad!  I just need more time." Marinette says.

  "Okay, take all the time you need, Blueberry Gal!"  Adrien says.  He blows her a kiss and leaves.
