The next day, Marinette thinks did the boy in the catsuit visit me last night or was it a dream?  She gets ready for the day. She is still not sure if the visit was real or her imagination.  

     Dear Journal,

   Some boy in a catsuit came to see me, or I think he did. He called himself Cat Noir. 

He says he just a little older than me when I ask about his age.  He seems to like me although I am sure why he does.

 He must have a crush on me.  He claims we met in the past and I supposedly saw him without his mask.

  I do not recall seeing him before last night, but his voice seems familiar.  How strange is this?
    

My mind plays tricks on me since Adrien has been dead for two years. It must be the grief.  I loved him and still do for that matter.

  Cat Noir admits he thinks I am pretty and says he cares about me. How could he when his first visit was last night?  He says he plans to return tonight.

 I look forward to his return and am happy he intends to visit me every evening.  

This suit he wears is leather, and I do not recall seeing any others like it.  It is genuine leather, even the mask, cat ears, and tail.

I wonder what Alya is up to today. She and Nino seem rather close lately.  

  Chole dates Nathaniel now.  It surprises me how well those two get along.

  Lila is nicer now that Adrien is dead. This makes me sad because I miss him and think it is not fair she should change just because he is no longer among the living.

Now, Lila and I are friends. This is strange is it not that the unpopular bakery girl should be friends with the ever-popular, Lila.

  I told my friends I needed time alone.  The time comes when I need to spend time with them.  Nothing will make Adrien alive again, so there is no use in sulking all the time.

   My newest friend is Cat Noir which I intend to keep a secret since I have no way to answer my other friend's questions as to why he wears a mask and is not seen during the day time.

Well, I have to go now.

 A bunch of us are going to the movies, want to come?

Sure, Alya!  What time does the movie start?

    Meanwhile, Adrien prepares for the day, then transforms into Cat Noir in his hideout.  He leaves, jumps from roof to roof until he lands on top of the bakery. He decides to stay put so Marinette will not know he spies on her.

    Nino says the movie starts at 2 pm!  Try not to be late!

   Marinette's text to Alya

See you at 1:45 pm then.

  "Nino, I am glad Marinette decides to come to the movies,"  Alya says.

 "Alya, so am I.  It is about time she got out more." Nino says.

  Marinette arrives at 1:45 pm at the theater. 

 "Hey, guys!  Hope you did not have to wait too long." Marinette says.

"Good to see you!"  Alya and Nino say at the same time.

"Yes, good to see you, Marinette!"  Chloe and Nathaniel answer together.

"Hi, Marinette!"  Lila says.

  "Hi, Lila.  I am glad you came because we are the only ones without a date." Marinette says.

"Yes, well we single people have to stick together now do we not?"  Lila remarks.

    "Hi, I do not want you to think I forgot about tonight, Marinette see you then!"   Cat Noir says.

    "Cat, you are here?"  Marinette asks.

    "Only to say, see you later,"  Cat says.

"Ok, see you later,"  Marinette says.

  Cat  Noir chuckles.  Then, he leaves. He hides on the bakery's roof once more.

    After Cat Noir left  the theater,  "Who was that Marinette?"  Lila asks.

"Yes, do tell us Marinette, who was he?  Your boyfriend?"  Chloe and Nathaniel ask.

"Yes, dudette, do tell!"  Nino says.

"Oh, he is my friend, Cat Noir,"  Marinette says. She grins.

" I met him last night we he came to see me and he gave his word he would come again tonight," Marinette says.

"I think he has a crush on you," Lila says.

"It is good to see you made a new friend,"  Lila remarks.

"Yes, indeed it is. The movie is about to start," Marinette says.

     Chloe and Nathaniel, Alya and Nino, Lila, and Marinette all enjoy the entire movie and especially love the ending.  Then, they all go get ice-cream. 

    Later that evening, Marinette hears a noise at the window. She opens it to let Cat Noir inside.

    "Hi, Cat Noir, so how was your day?"  Marinette asks.

   "Boring, how did it go with your friends?" Cat asks.

"Sorry to hear your day was boring.  My friends and I had fun watching a funny movie and had ic-cream to eat afterward."  Marinette says.

   "Nathaniel and Chole were together, along with Alya and Nino,"  Marinette says.

"Lila and I were the only ones without dates," Marinette says.

"I am glad you do not have a boyfriend," Cat says. He blushes.

"Oh, and why is that exactly?"  Marinette asks.

"If you did I would be jealous because I like you.  Plus, how do I know he would treat you right?"  Cat Noir says.

Marinette laughs.  " Do not worry I will not date anyone without your approval first,"  Marinette says.

  "You have a pretty laugh!  See you tomorrow!"  He says.

"Ok, goodnight Cat Noir,"  Marinette tells him.

"Good night, princess!" He says and leaves.

After Cat goes home, Marinette laughs a bit, and thinks why would he be jealous about my dating someone?
   

    Marinette's POV:
    She thinks I can not believe he was upset about the possibility of my dating someone. She believes this means Lila is right, Cat Noir does have a crush on Marinette.

   She sighs and thinks, he is cute, but I am not sure he is my type.
