Adrien thinks, we must get out of here.  How?  My arms are of no use to me in the chains. He sighs as his face turns even more red at where his silly thoughts take him. He thinks, ugh!  Why must I be the one in need of a rescue, when I came here to rescue the maid, Marinette?

       Marinette  says, "Adrien, look I know it is might not make sense, but you have to let me take off your gloves." 

       "What?  Now why would I do this?"  Adrien says as he looks up at her in surprise.

      "Just trust me!" Marinette says.

      "Okay, sure whatever you say p-pretty girl!"  Adrien says.

       Marinette blushes.  She thinks great of all the cells to be in and I have to be roommates with a flirt. She rolls her eyes as she reaches over and snatches the gloves off his hands. She smiles just a little too.

     "Well, you have the gloves!  Now, what Marinette?"  Adrien remarks.

      Marinette throws the gloves at the snake.  She sighs a sigh of relief as it starts to bit into one of them.  This does not last for long as the creature soon forgets the glove and heads back towards them.  

      "Ah!"  Marinette screams once more.

    "Calm down!"  Adrien says.

    "How when it is after us?"  Marinette says.  She jumps and lands on the stool in the room.

     Adrien stares at her and begins to sing,  "Star light, star light!  Star light, out tonight!  Star light, it may come true, it may not, but I still am gonna wish on the first star!  Yeah, I am still gonna wish on the first star I see tonight!"

    Marinette looks at him in amazement.  She wonders how a song could possibly help.  Turns out she does not have to wait long.   She sees the snake fall asleep soon, after Adrien finishes the song.

    "Now to see if I can find a way to get you out of those chains!"  Marinette whispers.

    "What chains?"  Adrien remarks.

   Marinette does not say a word.  She smiles when she sees a key. She picks it up.

         Here is a photo of the key, (found at www.clipartbarn.com) Marinette finds.  She reaches up, she begins to smile as she tries the key in the chains and they come loose.

        "Yes, it works!"  Marinette calls out!  

         "Wow, so you do like me!  Thanks, bye the way. "  Adrien says.

        "I do not like you !" Marinette says with annoyance in her voice. She glares at him.  She thinks, how dare he look so  cute and accuse me of such a thing. 

        "Oh, come on you do not have to deny you care about me!  I know you do.  You show it by how you worry for me."  Adrien responds.  He grins at her with a huge dopy look to his face. 

       "So big deal, if I worry!  Who cares?" Marinette says.

       Adrien steps closer to her, and says, "Look, Marinette!  I do not want Chloe to hurt you anymore."

       Adrien picks her up and carries her to the door.  He kicks it open and sighs a sigh of relief.  The entire time Marinette looks up at him in surprise, but does not let  go of his neck.  Instead, she clings to him. 

   Meanwhile, Chloe opens the door to her office.  "Why hello, Mayor Cesaire!  Do come in!  It is so good to see you!" Chloe says.  

      "Well, I do wish I could say the same thing."  Mayor Alya Cesaire remarks.  She sees the disarray the room is in and wonders, why is there no maid in this room?   It obviously could use a little clean up too.

     "I came here to discuss some important matters with you, Miss Bougerious.  Matters that concern your maids.  When I say maids I do mean each and every one of them,"  the mayor remarks.

   Chloe puts on a fake smile.  She can only hope this mayor can not see past this chard she tries to put on in front of her.  She tries to think of some excuse for the absence of one of her regular maids.  Perhaps, she just claim this particular one quit, or that she left town suddenly with no explanation.
