(Y/N)'s POV

I walked down the streets of Kalos with Pikachu. There was a strange, sweet and calming fragrance in the air that couldn't be described.
The fragrance entered my brain, relaxing every nerve of it.

I looked to my right. There was a beautiful arch, just like the gates of Heaven.
"I suppose this is the Rose Garden, huh." I said to myself and entered the garden without any second thoughts, and Pikachu followed.

The beautiful scents of roses filled my nose and my mind was eased. It was a truly beautiful place.
Maybe I can find some Pokèmon in here but who knows.

There was a white bench. My knees were tired so I decided to rest a bit. "Mind if I sit here, Pika?" Pikachu nodded, a bit disappointed. I chuckled, "I guess you wanted to explore the garden,"
"Pika..." Pikachu smiled sheepishly.

I threw my pokeballs in the air, and all my pokemon came out of them - Meloetta, Chatot and Fennikin.

"Mello, Mello!" Meloetta sang. "Cha~tot!" Chirped Chatot.
"Fenni- Fennikin!" Chimed in Fennikin.

"I think you all are pretty tired..." I started but noticed they were just... energetic. Sigh.

"Well I guess you all would want to play around here, won't you?" They all nodded excitedly.

The street lights flickered. We realized that it was getting a little dark.
"Oh... bummer. We need to get going guys. We enjoyed Santalune loads, didn't we?"

Fennikin pulled on my flannel. "Fennikin!" She squealed.
I sighed. "I know. But we need to go. We're going to Lumiose next, remember?" I said, "I've heard it's way more fun."
There was no positive response.
"Ugh, come on. We need to go back to the Pokècenter."

"Aren't you all hungry?" I said, as Fennikin looks at her grumbling stomach.
"Yep, definitely." I said.

I sighed. "I guess you all can just walk there with me, what about that?"

They all jumped and called on their names and I smiled slightly at them. "Okay then!" I laughed.

Time skip.

"Good evening Nurse Joy," I greet nurse Joy standing at the reception of the Pokècenter-hotel.

"I'm (Y/N) (L/N), I'm the one who booked the room 231 in the morning, remember?" I asked hoping for her to answer. "I left my keys with you," I said.

"Oh, I'm sorry," She smiled nervously, to which I get a little confused and panicked. "I'm not the Nurse Joy of this Center, but from Anistar. Joy was sick so she left early."

"Oh," I sighed. "Okay, wait here Ms. (Y/N), let me just check for your booking of the room." She said, scrolling through her computer, and I waited. "Alright," I respond.

Just then, the door opened, letting in a gang of four people. I look at them, sensing familiarity.
The little girl looked at me for nice 3 seconds.
"Aren't you (Y/N), the girl from the Gym?"

"Uhm, yeah!" I say as it hits me. "You're Bonnie, if I'm not wrong," I look at the lemon blonde little girl.

"Yes, yes, I am!" She cheers and I look at the rest of the trainers with her.

(Third person P.O.V)

"Yes, yes, I am!" Bonnie cheers, and Y/N averts her gaze from her to look at the rest of the team.

"You're Clemont, right?" She points at Clemont. "Yeah, you're right!" He says adjusting his round glasses.
"And you're Ash. With a pikachu."
"Oh. I thought you wouldn't remember," Ash laughed.

"And you..." She looks at Serena, making her a bit uncomfortable. "I-I'm Serena, before you ask." She says, smiling, but a little bit confused not knowing the identity of the (H/C) haired girl.
"Good to meet you, Serena, I'm Y/N."
She begins.

"So you're all staying here for the night?" Y/N asks.

"Yeah," Clemont replies.
"Actually, since my battle didn't go really well, I think I'm gonna train hard tomorrow and try again while I'm here." Ash says smiling nervously.

"That's awesome, Good luck for the rematch!" She wishes him.
"Yeah, thanks! Congratulations about today," He says.

Meanwhile Serena, who had no idea about who the girl clearly was, just stood there among the company.

"Uhm.. something's a bit off. I can't find your registration for your room 231, Ms. Y/N..." Nurse Joy says out of the blue.

"Wait what? Room 231? We booked it in the afternoon, didn't we?" Clemont says.

"What? You guys have booked this room?" Y/N says, looking at Clemont with her perplexed eyes.

"Y-yeah; I've booked two rooms, 230 and 231!" Ash says, raising his eyebrows.

Y/N narrowed her eyes. "What the hell is going on?" She whispers to herself, and then something hits her.
"Nurse Joy, I-I also signed that register thingy! It also has my Pokè ID number!" She told her, and Nurse Joy opened a drawer under the desk.
She took out a huge book with a pokeball at the front and flipped through some pages.

"672-XTS-453," She says, "I'd like to see your ID."
Y/N pulled out her pokedex, and showed her the number flashing at the top of its screen.

"Oh, it matches," She said, "So, it means the room was booked by you,"

"See?" Y/N says sighing.
"B-but... but!" Ash stammered.

"Hey. If you want, I can book a room for you, how about that?" Y/N suggested all of them.
"Uh... yes please! I'd love to have some privacy." Bonnie folded her arms.
"B-Bonnie! You shouldn't-"

"No, no! She's right. Let me book one for you." Y/N reassured Clemont.

"Y/N, you really didn't have to..." Serena murmured under her breath.

"Oh come on. You had to face inconvenience because of me. It's my pleasure," She said. "Nurse Joy, please book a vacant room. Book it under my name,"

Then Ash and his friends thanked Y/N for her help, and she just thought that just being less formal would be way better.

For a while they just hung out in the lobby, and Serena and Y/N seemed to get along pretty well. Serena and Clemont told Y/N and Ash about cool places to visit in Kalos.
They never went inside their rooms until their dinner arrived.

"So Y/N, you've always travelled alone?" Serena asks Y/N suddenly.
Y/N's eyes light up at the questions.

"Not really," She begins, "I've travelled with my two friends through Kanto, Johto and Hoenn."
"What about Sinnoh and Unova?" Ash asks her.

"I travelled with my Pokèmon," She laughs.
"...and your friends?"
"Oh... them? We parted our ways." She replies shortly.

"Why?" He asks.
"I don't know, Bella said she wanted to start again. She couldn't focus with us," She replies.
"And what about your other friend?"
"Kiara said she wanted to be a Pokemon performer. I don't know where she is currently,"

"Ah~ Enough about me. Are you gonna use Pikachu and Fletching again at the battle, Ash?"

"Yeah, maybe. I'm not sure." Ash shrugs. "Yeah maybe I'm not sure?"   Y/N laughs, "If that's what you say,"

Ash rolls his eyes. "'Yeah maybe I'm not sure?' Seriously?"

Their food arrives, and all of them ate  till their stomachs became tight, and all of them chatted all along.

"You know what Y/N? You're really awesome. I'd love it if you join us in our journey." Bonnie says enthusiastically.

"Haha, you really think so, Bonnie? Thanks. I'd look forward to your invitation." She rubbed the back of her head.

"Hey, there's no thinking about that! I'd love to have someone as awesome as you in our journey," Serena says.

Y/N can't help but blush and laugh it off. "Yes, please join us, Y/N! The more, the merrier!" Ash smiles.
"Now that everyone is expecting you to join us, I also think you'd make a great addition." Clemont  says.

"So? What do you say?" Ash asks.
"Uh..."
