"So do you want to go get some lunch?" Ash asked, looking down at Serena. She smiled. 

"I would love to," she replied. Ash smiled back and held out an arm for Serena to take. She took his arm and the two made their way out of the crowded airport. Outside, a limo awaited. Ash whistled.

"I was hoping for a ride, but you have outdone yourself Sere," he said, chuckling and gazing at the long sleek car. Serena blushed at the nickname but recovered quickly. 

"Well, do you want a ride or not?" She said, rolling her eyes at Ash's reaction. She couldn't help but laugh though, he still acted fourteen sometimes.

"Right, let's go," he said, continuing on to the car. They both climbed into the back seat of the limo. When both were seated, Serena's chauffeur spoke up.

"Where to miss?" He asked it a low drawling tone. Serena put a finger to her chin, pretending to think.

"How about the new Cafe Kalos down in Lumiose?" She suggested, her eyes twinkling. "I believe they have a surprise for us," she said, smiling over at Ash. He raised an eyebrow.

"They do, do they?" He questioned, smirking. Serena shrugged and stayed silent. The chauffeur chuckled and nodded, then started driving them away from the airport. Suddenly, Ash's suitcase moved. Serena jumped and squealed. 

"Ash! Your suitcase just moved!" She exclaimed fearfully. The suitcase moved again. She squealed again and jumped into Ash's arms, squeezing her eyes shut. "It moved again!" She exclaimed. Ash put one arm around the fearful Serena, looking puzzled for a moment, then groaned, slapping his forehead. 

"Oh my gosh! How could I forget!" He exclaimed."I can be so stupid sometimes!" Serena looked up at him, confused. She then looked at herself, practically in Ash's lap and turned bright red, releasing him quickly. She scooted a bit closer to her seat, but still looked warily at Ash's suitcase.

"What is it?" She asked slowly. Ash didn't answer. Instead he hurriedly scooted over to his suitcase, and went to open it. Serena backed away fearfully, preparing herself for whatever creature was shaking the bag so violently. As soon as the suitcase was unzipped, a flash if yellow shot out. Serena screamed and closed her eyes. She felt something nuzzle up against her hand. She peeked one eye open and looked down at her hand, only to find... Pikachu. She sighed and picked him up.

"Pika!" he squealed in delight. He continued to nuzzle up to her. Serena heard Ash chuckle. 

"Terrifying," he said, smirking. She rolled her eyes. 

"You could have told me that there wasn't a rabid monster trying to break out of your bag," she said sarcastically. 

"Nah, it was kinda cute seeing you jump into my arms like that," he said, smiling at her. Serena turned bright red, trying to form words. She ended up just sticking her tongue out at him. Pikachu did the same. Ash laughed. 

"Anyways, why in the world was Pikachu in your suitcase?" Serena asked, scratching the yellow Pokemon behind the ears. Ash looked embarrassed and rubbed his neck. 

"Oh, yeah, sorry about that Pikachu," he apologized. Pikachu crossed his arms in mock ignorance. "They required all Pokemon to be in their Pokeball, but as you know, Pikachu doesn't like that whole situation... so, I hid him in my suitcase when the flight attendant came by. He must have fallen asleep in there and just woken up," Ash explained, looking at Pikachu strutting around indignantly. Serena rolled her eyes.

"And you forgot to let him out," She sighed, shaking her head. Ash shrugged.

"Hey, I said I was sorry!" He exclaimed defensively. 

"You know, you can be such a idiot sometimes," Serena mumbled in amusement. 

"Oh really? I heard that you know!" Ash exclaimed, raising an eyebrow. Serena giggled and shrugged. 

"Its true," she said quietly, grinning.

"Okay, I will not stand for these insults," Ash shouted. "You will pay!" He then began tickling Serena. She squealed. 

"Ash! What are you doing?! Knock it off you idiot!" She exclaimed between laughs. Ash rolled his eyes.

"There it is again," he said, then began tickling her some more. She started laughing uncontrollably.

"Stop! No! Please!" She laughed. Then a different voice interrupted. 

"My goodness! Miss, are you alright?!" The chauffeur exclaimed worriedly. The twosome froze, looking embarrassed. Ash folded his hands in his lap. 

"I'm fine Henry," she assured the chauffeur, a smile still on her face. Henry gave Ash a mild glare. 

"If you say so Miss," he said, turning back around and shutting the window connecting to the back. It was silent for a moment, then Ash and Serena both burst out laughing.

 "Did you see the look on his face?!" Serena laughed.

"I think he thought I was torturing you or something!" Ash replied, laughing. 

"It was torture!" Serena smirked, poking Ash. 

"Ah, but it was only mild torture, I went easy on you," Ash said, grinning back at her. They both sighed, holding their stomachs from laughing. 

"So, Kalos Queen, what have you been up to?" Ash asked, nudging Serena. She gave a small smile. 

"Just lots and lots of performances," she replied, shrugging.

"And when will I have the opportunity to see one of them?" Ash questioned. Serena thought for a moment.

"Sometime soon," she replied.

"Awesome! I can't wait!" Ash exclaimed in excitement. Serena blushed. 

"Well how about you? What have you been up to since winning the Kalos League?" She asked, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. Ash looked up from petting Pikachu. 

"Me? Oh, well I went and visited Kanto again. My mom, Professor Oak, my old Pokemon. It was good to see them again," Ash replied, smiling fondly. 

"What about your Mega Stone? Have you Mega Evolved any of your Pokemon yet?" Serena asked pointing to the round stone on his wrist. Ash looked down, remembering it was there. His face brightened.

"Oh yeah! That was from Professor Oak. I Mega Evolved my Charizard," Ash said.

"Thats amazing!" Serena exclaimed in awe. "You will have to show me sometime." Ash nodded in agreement.

"Definitely."

"We are here Miss," Henry said.

"Alright, thank you Henry," Serena replied, smiling. Her and Ash got out of the car. She grabbed his arm an started pulling him towards the entrance.

"Come on, we don't want to be late," she said mischieviously. "Your surprise is waiting!"
