Y/n's POV
"Argh," I grumbled. "What happened? Where am I?"

"You passed out from blood loss on my back a few minutes after we came back to the monastery," a voice said. "You were out for at least an hour. And you're in the medbay. While you were out, Misako stitched up your leg again. Try not to reopen the wound again."

"D-dominic?" I asked. "I-is that you?"

"Y-yeah," Dominic replied. "I-it's me. I didn't leave you at all while you were out cold. I wanted to make sure you were safe."

"I have something to tell you!" we both whisper-shouted.

"Y-you go first," I said.

"A-alright," Dominic stuttered. "I like you. As more than a friend. What I'm trying to say is that I love you. I've always liked you, I just didn't realize it until your dad took you away from me. I never want you to leave me."

"W-what?" I stuttered. "You l-love me?"

"Yes!" Dominic replied. "I just never, MMH!"

I cut him off with a kiss on his lips.

"God, I love this boy," I thought to myself. "He's been there for me the most. He helped me through my bad days. I don't think I would even be here right now if Dominic wasn't in my life. I never want him to leave me."

As much as I wanted to keep this up, we had to break the kiss because of a thing called air.

"I love you too," I stated. "I just never knew how to tell you. I never want you to leave me. You're always there for me. You helped me through my bad days. So please, never leave me. MMH!"

The next thing I know, Dominic's kissing me. I was a bit surprised at first, but I slowly melted into the kiss. Although it was a short kiss, it was full of his love for me.

"You talk too much sometimes," Dominic said. "Now, I have something important to ask you."

"W-what is it?" I asked.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Dominic asked.

"OF COURSE I WILL!" I cheered. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to ask me that. B-but would you mind if I sang a song for you?"

"Of course not," Dominic replied. "I would love to hear you sing. It always makes me happy."

"A-alright then," I said, blushing brighter than Kai and Casey's suits. "C-could you hand me m-my phone?"

"Sure," Dominic said, grabbing my phone from the bedside table. "Here you go."

"T-thanks," I replied, taking my phone from his hand. Then I pulled up a song called I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack, but I chose the acoustic version.

"W-would you like to sing with me?" I asked, blushing brighter than my left eye.

"Sure," Dominic answered.

"A-alright," I said. Then I pressed play on the song.

And like usual, I take a deep breath before I start singing.

Once we were done singing, I started feeling really sleepy and I yawned.

"Sounds like someone's tired," Dominic said, putting a lock of my (h/c) hair behind my ear. "Get some sleep, n/n. You've had a long couple of days. I'll come back tomorrow before I go to breakfast."

"A-alright," I yawned, slowly laying back down and closing my eyes to go to sleep. "Night, Dominic. I love you."

"Heh," Dominic giggled. "Goodnight, my little panther. I love you too. Sleep tight."

Dominic's POV
I stayed in the medbay for a minute to make sure that Y/n was asleep. Once I heard the soft sound of snoring, I knew that she was fast asleep. Before I left, I kissed her goodnight on the forehead.

Once I left, I noticed that the whole Elemental Alliance, Pixal, the Ninja, and my team were all outside waiting for an update.

"Well," Casey said. "How is she?"

"She's doing fine," I replied. "Just a little sore and tired. Misako made sure to give her extra-strong stitches this time to make sure that her left leg doesn't bleed again. But that also means that n/n can't fight until her leg's fully healed."

"I could turn into her and fight in her place," Chamille suggested. "When I turned into Y/n for my power demo, I didn't have a big gash on my left leg, but I had her scar and crimson red eye. I'm sure that Master Nyx won't know the difference, especially if I'll be wearing her ranger suit."

"Thanks, Chamille," I replied, feeling extremely grateful. "I'll take you up on that offer. Let's just hope that Master Nyxx won't know the difference like you said."

"So," RJ said, trying to change the subject. He was even sporting a sly smirk. "Did you tell her how you feel about her yet?"

"WHAT?!" everyone else yelled.

"SHHHH!" I shushed everyone. "We don't wanna wake Y/n up."

"Sorry," everyone whispered.

"But did you?" Turner asked. "Did you?! Did you?! Did you?! Did you?!"

"Is he always this pushy?" I asked, turning to Lloyd who was standing next to me. "Cause if so, I call first dibs of knocking his butt out for a nap."

"Not usually," Lloyd answered. "Only when it comes to the Elemental Alliance's personal lives, and we don't get together like this that often."

"Oh, alright," I replied. "Well, can I at least--"

"No, you can not knock him out for a nap," Neuro said. "Once he wakes up, he'll be bouncing off the walls like a child with attention deficit hyperactive disorder."

"Attention what?" Kai asked, clearly confused. "What's that?"

"Attention deficit hyperactive disorder," Pixal replied. "Or ADHD for short. It is a mental condition that causes a person to have a short attention span. It may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and difficulty at school or work."

"Yes," Neuro added. "I've noticed that Y/n may have ADHD when Dominic returned with her on his back to the rescue team after finding her."

"How did you," I started but was cut off my Neuro once again.

"RJ asked me to read her mind to see if she retained her connection with Eros," Neuro replied, sporting an apologetic smirk. "I apologize for not telling you sooner, Rangers. RJ asked me to keep it a secret."

"That's alright, Neuro," Lily said. "You had to do what had to be done."

"But one question," Theo added.

"What might that be, Theo?" Neuro asked, looking a little confused.

"Who the heck is Eros?" Casey asked.

"It's the name Y/n gave her physical animal spirit," RJ replied. "I remember when Master Feather would summon her physical animal spirit of the snowy owl. I figured that n/n would inherit her mother's powers of summoning her physical animal spirit. I just didn't think that she would name her animal spirit after a Greek God or Goddess."

"N/n always has loved the dark," Lily added. "Not to mention that she's a big fan of Greek mythology. It's no surprise that she would name her animal spirit after the God of Love."

"Don't forget that 'Eros' means 'darkness' in Greek," Casey finished.

"Can we get back on topic?!" Griffin whisper-yelled. "Did you, or did you not, tell Y/n how you feel?!"

"Why do you wanna know anyways, Griffin?" I asked, still a little bit mad at everyone for yelling. "She's just a--"

Just then, there was a portal opening up behind the Elemental Alliance. Once everyone turned around, we saw someone coming out and got into fighting stances. Neuro was the first one to notice something about the person.

"She is not from here," he stated. "I believe she is lost or here to say something, I am not sure. What I do know is that this girl has ADHD, and most likely inherited it from her father."

"Neuro, do NOT talk about my dad," the girl said. "He passed away when I was only 6 years old. At least none of you have depression."

"Okay," I said.

"Anyways," the girl continued. "Dominic, I swear to God. IF YOU CALL Y/N 'JUST A FRIEND' IMMA KICK YOUR BUTT INTO NEXT YEAR! YOU WILL NOT BE PULLING AN 'ADRIEN AGRESTE' HERE! Okay, bye now. 'Just a friend' my ass. I'm coming for you next, Adrien Agreste!"

After that weird encounter, it was silent for an uncomfortable amount of time.

"Now that was weird," RJ said.

"Yeah," I replied. "Anyways, just to get Griffin to stop annoying everyone, yeah. I told Y/n how I felt. And she feels the same way. Now then, since Griffin knows about me confessing, can we please go to bed? We've all had a long day, especially Y/n, and I know for sure that she'll wanna sleep in a bit tomorrow."

"Alright, fine," Griffin said, albeit reluctantly.

"That's fine by me," Kai yawned.

"Agreed," Cole added.

"Ditto," the Hands of Time replied.

"Good night, everyone," Neuro finished.

After everyone went to their rooms because I'm being lazy as frick right now

Y/n's POV
"Mmm," I whimpered. "N-no, Dad please. Don't do this."

Le Dream

"Ha ha ha!" Dad laughed, just before he turned into his animal form. "You'll never be as good as your mother!"

He then slashed both of my eyes, causing them to turn a crimson red color, turning back into his human form afterwards.

"ARGH!!" I screamed, covering my eyes. "W-why, D-daddy? Why are you doing this to me? I did nothing to deserve this."

"You never should have been born!" Dad yelled at me. "YOU WILL NEVER BE MY DAUGHTER!"

"You may not consider me to be your daughter," I started, now crying from the immense pain in my eyes. "But you will always be my loving and caring daddy. And I will always love you. And know this, I will stop Dai Shi with the help of my friends."

"THERE IS NO STOPPING DAI SHI!" my father screamed, turning back into his animal form and going for my left leg again.

End of le dream

"NOO!" I screamed, bolting straight up in the bed.

I then touched my hand to my face and felt my eyes to see if they were scratched or anything. Once I knew that there was nothing wrong with my eyes, I moved on to look at my left leg again. And sure enough, there were still stitches there.

"Whew," I sighed. "Stitches are still there and my right eye isn't damaged. M-maybe I should text Dominic and tell him about it. M-maybe it's a vision. I-I mean, Z-zane gets them a-all the time."

Then I grabbed my phone from the bedside table, immediately squinting my eyes to prevent myself from going blind, and pulled up Dominic's number. (Every time I turn on my phone if I feel like reading in the middle of the night and I had forgotten to turn down the brightness, it's like 'THE MOSIAH HAS RETURNED!' XD)

"Dang, it's 1:30 a.m," I said to myself. "Dom's probably fast asleep by now. He might not even hear his phone go off. But he's always there for me when I'm having problems sleeping. I'll text him anyways."

Hey, Dom. I had a nightmare. Would you mind coming to the medbay and staying with me for the rest of the night?

"Now I just have to wait for him to text back," I said to myself.

Just then, I felt my phone buzz.

After that, I heard footsteps coming down the hallway.

"Maybe it's Dominic," I thought to myself. Just then, the door to the medbay opened up.

Narrator's POV
Little did Dominic or Y/n know. Jay and Cole were following Dominic to the medbay, camera in their hands.

"So," Cole said, a sly smirk plastered on his face. "We're gonna get pictures of the two of them sleeping and show them to everyone in the morning?"

"You know it, buddy," Jay replied, a sly smirk on his face as well. "Now let's wait. Once we hear snoring, we'll know they're asleep and we strike!"

"What are you two doing up this late?" a voice asked.

"ARGH!" the two ninja whisper-screamed. Cole turned around to find that it was

"H-hey guys," Cole stuttered.

"You two have exactly 3 seconds to explain why you're up at 1:30 in the morning with cameras in your hands while standing outside the medbay door," Lloyd stated.

"Because we wanna embarrass them!" Jay whisper-yelled, revealing his and Cole's true plan to the others.

"Jay!" Cole scolded.

"Huh," Casey said, turning to look at his friends. "Interesting. I didn't know you two wanted to die today!"

"Casey, you can't kill them," Lily countered.

"It's too late," Casey stated. "I've already decided how."

"Cole, Jay. Don't you think that they should tell us if they're dating when they feel ready?" Lily asked, trying to protect her best friend from embarrassment. "I've known Y/n since she joined the academy. She's really self-conscious about her relationships. She tells her friends and family things when she feels ready. Don't push your luck with her."

Just then, the masters of earth and lightning heard the two rangers talking about something.

"What are they talking about?" Jay asked. "Should we get Neuro out here?"

"I would highly advise against the idea, Jay," Zane countered. "Everyone from the Elemental Alliance, as well as us and the Rangers, have had a long and tiring day. Let them rest. Y/n will inform us when she feels ready."

"Fine," Jay whined. "But can Cole and I stay to carry out our plan?!"

"As long as you don't bother them," RJ replied. "Then go for it. But if Y/n chooses to send Eros after you two, don't come crying to us. Now we're all going back to bed. We just came to make sure Y/n was alright."

"Why are you doing that?" Cole asked, a worried look now plastered onto his face.

"She's been having nightmares about her dad ever since the four of us came to Ocean Bluff," Theo answered, now more worried about Y/n more than ever. "She's been through so much pain and torture after her mother passed away. And when Dominic joined the team, she's felt a lot calmer and slept easier at night knowing that Dominic was there to help her get through her 'moments' involving her dad."

"Oh," Nya whimpered. "I can't believe that she went through all of that pain and torture."

"Don't worry, Nya," Kai replied. "We'll help the Rangers defeat Master Nyx and get them back home to Ocean Bluff. I promise."

"Well, I'm going back to bed," Lily yawned. "Night everyone."

"We'll all go back to bed," RJ said, referring to him and the others. "Goodnight guys. Try not to scare n/n too much. Remember what happened last time?"

"Huhh," Cole shivered. "Don't remind me. It took a bit for those scratches to heal."

"Don't worry RJ," Jay countered, interrupting Cole. "We won't. We'll have the flash and shutter off. Promise."

"Alright then," Lloyd says, albeit skeptically. After that, the group leaves to go back to bed for the night.

After the group leaves, Jay and Cole are left standing at the medbay door while still holding their cameras in their hands.

"Soooo," Jay says, dragging out the 'o'. "Wanna eavesdrop on their conversation?"

"Jay, that's not cool," Cole replied, another sly smirk on his face. "Yes! Is that even a question?!"

After that exchange, the two ninja listen in on the two rangers' conversation.

"What do you think they're talking about?" Jay asked.

"No idea, Jay," Cole answered. "But whatever it is, it made Y/n really upset. I just hope that Dominic will be able to calm her down, for her sake."

"Yeah," Jay agreed. "Maybe we should let them tell everyone about their relationship on their own. But we're still a go for pictures of them sleeping, right?"

"Oh, definitely," Cole replied. "And we're using it as blackmail material, right?"

"HECK YEAH!" Jay silently cheered.

And so, the masters of earth and lightning waited, ever so patiently, for the white and (f/c) rangers to fall asleep.
