(Aria pov)

I followed the directions to the shrine that the man wrote on the piece of paper.

Once i arrived it was so foggy that i couldn't even see anything ahead of me. "Ah Mikage, it is unusual for you to show up after 20 years..." said a familiar voice. 'Mikage..,.that must be that man's name.' "Its been so long, and now since your here it is time for you to DIE!!!" The voice said. He was about to attack me until i realized that it was..........Tomoe?

"This is not mikage. Aria you dont belong here you should leave." Tomoe said about to walk away until 2 little spirits show up out of no where. "But master Tomoe, she has the land God symbol on her forehead" a spirit said. "I don't care, she is not mikage, I will not work for a little girl" Tomoe yelled. " umm, for your information Im in your grade, and I am not that small" I yelled. He glared at me, then *POOF* he disappeared. "W-Where did he go?" I asked. "He went a place known as "Over Yonder" the little spirit said. "Oh we haven't introduced ourselves I am kotetsu and I am onikiri" they both said. "Umm....My name is Aria rose, it's a pleasure to meet." "The pleasure is ours." They said. "So what do you mean by land god?" I questioned. "The symbol, on your forehead that Mikage left on you is the land God symbol." "Tomoe he said something about working for me, what does he mean by that?" I asked. " well Tomoe is a Yokai and can also be a familiar" kotetsu said.

Aria: "but does he have to work for me?"
Onikiri: " yes, of course he has to be your familiar, he is the only that can protect you, and keep the shrine clean and fit."

Aria: "okay...so how do I make him my familiar?"
Kotetsu: " you have to kiss on the lips, in which it will seal the contract between you and Tomoe, which will make him your familiar.
Aria: "w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-WHATT!!!!!!!!! Your joking right." I was blushing madly.
Kotetsu: "no were not joking."
Aria: 'damn could this day get any worse.'

I looked over where Tomoe away *POOF* away. 'I don't want to k-k-kiss him'. Do you have a places where I can crash(where I can sleep)" I asked. " of course, follow me" onikiri said. ' I guess I won't be going back to the girls dorm.'
(Today was Friday in the story)
-Saturday

I woke up. "Wow talk about a weird dream, I lost my bracelet, then met a man named Mikage, oh and I didn't even tell him my name how rude, then encountered Tomoe being a big jerk to me, and two little spirits were nice to me and nice enough to even give me a place to sleep, wow how silly." i noticed both kotetsu and onikiri were sitting there in on the side of the bed. (A/n: i guess it was no dream after all)
Aria: "umm.... good morning"
Kotetsu and onikiri: good morning to you lady Aria
Aria: 'lady'?
Kotetsu: "now you must fulfill your land god duties lady Aria "
Oniriki: "first you must clean the floors, then dust out the dust from the furniture, wash the dishes, rake the leaves, do the laundry, pull out the weeds, and more." He yelled
Aria: " there is so much to do, is this really the land gods duty?" I said panting

<pulling out the weeds>

I was pulling out the weeds (or the old grass from the ground). 'Wow this is hard work I don't even know if I am doing this right'. "What are you still doing here, did you not recall my warning?" a familiar voice said. I turned around and there was Tomoe standing probably like 13 feet away covering his face with a fan. I ignored him. 'I didn't know Tomoe was such a jerk' I thought. "You go home or back to the school, isn't there someone waiting for you?" He said. " after the school year ends I won't have a place to go to" I said in a serious tone. "And why is that?" He asked. "It's because my mother died, and abandoned by my father." It was silent between, until he broke the silence. I couldn't tell if he was shocked since his fan was covering his face. "I know how you feel, losing someone important to you" he whispered. I turned around thinking that Tomoe was right next to me, but to find out that he was still far away from me. 'What?' "Not my problem!" And POOF he disappeared "Geez, he doesn't have to give me an attitude."

Kotetsu and oniriki piled books that recorded people wishes over the past 20 years. "Master tomoe has recorded everyone's wishes while mikage was gone. Tomoe also keeps this shrine in shape. 'So tomoe never left the shrine, and kept it together, while waiting for Mikages return, already knowing that he wont coome back. It reminds me of........me.

"Where is tomoe right now?" I asked "He is at 'over yonder' why? Onriki said. "I want to apologize. The way tomoe stayed here reminded me of me." "But over yonder is a dangerous place, you mustn't go lady Aria" "no, i want to apologize, please take me where he is." "Alright but you must stay by our side, at all times."
"Okay."

Lets go to 'over yonder'.
