Perfection is an opinion:

Some say the perfect child is quick to learn

Who's mind blossoms from its start

Others claim, it's not the same

But rather one with a kind and golden heart

No matter how they quarrel

Neither side will win

Therefore, Perfection's an opinion

I know a girl whose perfect world

Is her very own fantasy

She dreams, wishes and wants

What no one else can see

I know another who would gladly spend their days, wasting away

In the world of reality

Their happy doing what they do

And seeing what they see

No matter how they bicker

Neither side will win

Furthermore, Perfection's an opinion

Here I am

Scuttling about, trying to please the world's opinions

And yet I always come up to short--

Spread myself too thin

I set the bar too high

Skip the walking--attempt to fly

And just when I think I've reached the sky

I'm falling Down

Upon the ground I sit and watch the clouds saunter by;

Sitting pretty, looking perfect

And I ask myself, "Is it worth it?"

—Ha! Worth it? No! But then again,

Who am I to say?

No matter how I try

It seems I'll never win

So overall, why yes indeed

Perfection is an opinion.
