Princess Bubblegum was sitting regally on her throne in the Candy Kingdom, lost in thought, when suddenly, a loud rumbling noise filled the air. Startled, she turned to see a rocket ship landing gracefully next to her. Out stepped Jimmy Neutron, the boy genius from Retroville, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Hiya, princess!" Jimmy exclaimed, a wide grin plastered on his face.

Bubblegum raised an eyebrow in surprise. "What are you doing here, Neutron?" she inquired, curious about his unexpected visit to her kingdom.

Waving his arms enthusiastically, Jimmy explained, "In Retroville, we're having a celebration to initiate me as the smartest kid in town!"

Bubblegum tilted her head thoughtfully. "Why didn't you ask your friends to join you?" she questioned, her curiosity piqued.

Jimmy scratched his head, listing off his friends' activities. "Moxie is battling Astro, Dexter is busy building gadgets, Freddy is at the Pizzeria, Bendy is working on his movie, Bill is causing chaos with Weirdmageddon, and well, the Eds are up to their usual schemes. BMO is, um, not the sharpest tool in the shed," he chuckled, acknowledging his friends' busy schedules.

Bubblegum nodded sympathetically. Flashbacks of episode 9 played in her head, a pang of guilt reverberating through her heart. Wanting to make amends, she asked, "What time is the celebration, Jimmy?"

"6:00!" Jimmy replied eagerly.

"Look for me in the front row," Bubblegum said simply. "Marceline will be there too."

"Really? You guys are coming?! Awesome!" He chirped, excitingly.

Before leaving, Jimmy turned back to embrace Bubblegum, expressing his gratitude.

"Thanks, Bubbles."

Bubblegum, taken aback at first, couldn't help but return the hug with a warm smile.

As Jimmy dashed off to prepare for the event, a grateful smile lighting up his face, Bubblegum glanced at Marceline, her girlfriend and closest confidant. "Marci, is it legal to adopt someone else's child?" she whispered.

Marceline raised an eyebrow in confusion, but before she could respond, Bubblegum brushed off the question with a laugh.

When the clock struck 6:00, Jimmy stood proudly on the stage, scanning the crowd. To his delight, he spotted Princess Bubblegum in her signature pink dress and Marceline looking chic in her sunhat, both grinning back at him. Their presence filled him with joy as he delivered his acceptance speech, with Bubblegum and Marceline applauding him wholeheartedly.

As the celebration came to an end, Jimmy felt grateful for the unexpected support from his newfound friends. Bubblegum's kindness and Marceline's playful spirit had made this day truly memorable for the young boy genius from Retroville.
