Liam's POV

Driving up to Kennie's office building I saw her car still the same way Lucy had described it. She was probably trying to park when she was stopped and maybe she was taken in a rush leaving the driver's door open.

I park my car like a block away from the building and walk up to hers as I examine everything in it. Nothing seems to be damaged or broken she'd stepped out herself and wasn't dragged out. I have to get this car out of here and park it in a better position I'm surprised no one called the police yet.

After I parked the car close to mine, I took the elevator to Kennie's floor. The minute the door opens I see Mia looking as confused as ever. Her best friend is missing and she's got no idea as to where she could be.

"Mia"

"Liam! I'm so scared I've been trying to reach her still and it goes straight to her voice mail. I don't know what to do"

Her voice breaks

"I saw her car...i feel like she was kidnapped"

"Why do you say that?"

"Think about it, why would she go anywhere when she's just in front of the building? Why would she park her car and leave her door open? Why has her phone not been reachable?"

"Liam we need to file a missing persons report"

"They won't declear her missing until after fourty eight hours and I can't wait that long. I don't know what she's going through right now and she's carrying my child...i can't let anything happen to them. I have to find her."

"But where? How?"

"Do you know if she has any enemies?"

"Not that I know of except..."

"Who Mia?"

"Dexter"

"The doctor?"

"Yes! I'm sure she told you of what he did to her"

"Yes but that doesn't make him one of her enemies. I need to make some calls"

I know the police won't file this case until after Fourty eight hours but I need to do something.

"Hey Michael, I need your help"

"What's wrong?"

"Kendra's missing and I've no idea where she could be. I've been trying to reach her but her phone's dead."

"How do you know she's missing? She could've gone out and her phone died."

"Gone out without her car? Her car's parked in front of her office building and when I found it the door was opened and it wasn't parked properly"

"Okay that's serious. I'll make a few calls and see what I can find. We'll find her Liam"

"Thanks man and please don't tell Liz...i don't want her to worry"

"Sure I'll call you when I find something"

Where are you Kendra?

Kendra's POV

A car pulls up to the warehouse and to my greatest surprise, Dexter walks in. What in the hell could he be doing here? How does he know Matilda?

"Dexter! What are you doing here?"

"Oh he's the one we've been waiting for"

Matilda puts in

"Dexter how could you?"

"What do you mean by how could I? You made me do this"

"What have I done to deserve this?"

"You are a liar and a cheat. If it wasn't for Stacy here I would never have found out that you were only playing me"

"I would've told you. And who's Stacy?"

"There you go again with the lies and the pretense. She's Stacy."

He points to Matilda

"You told him your name is Stacy? What other lies have you fed him? Dexter she's lying she's not Stacy"

"No you're the one lying. Her name is Stacy Jones and she's one of your friends but you pushed her away because she tried to warn you about playing with my feelings and you didn't want her advice so you pushed her away"

"THAT'S A LIE! Her name is Matilda Thompson and she has never been a friend of mine rather the only thing she's tried to do is to rip Liam and I apart. She's the reason I got separated from him in the first place and now she's trying to do it again."

I felt a lump in my throat as I try to hold back the tears

"Dexter who're you gonna believe? Me, who's always looked out for you and told you the truth about her? Or she, who has been lying to you this whole time and playing you like a fool? I devised this plan for YOU so you can be with her forever"

"I believe you Stacy"

"What plan? What are you talking about you slut?!!"

"Oh my dear Kendra, Liam will be joining us shortly"

She brings out her phone and dials a number

"Don't you dare hurt him"

"shhhh"

She place a finger to her lips, shushing me

"Hello Liam, remember me?"

I want to thank you guys so much for reading this far. I really do hope you like this story. Matilda's a thorn in their flesh and now she's included Dexter who clearly has his own issues. Now with the two of them working hand in hand what are they planning to do to Liam and Kendra? I think someone's gonna pay.
