An egg sits alone, deep and desaturated greens, reds and browns decorate the shell. It wiggles, a crack forming on the surface. It grew, eventually the egg shattered, revealing a small hybrid, it looked similar to a Dilophosaurus (it's base genome), but different. It's body was darker, and it's back was encompassed in osteoderms, hardens skin to protect from injuries. It's tail was tipped with a spike, allowing the small dinosaur to break objects with the point. It slowly walked around its incubator, keeping a watchful eye on the people before coughing up a small, green fluid. That was exciting. The scientists grabbed something and spoke into it. Gentle rattling filled the room as a cart with food in it came and picked up the hatchling, taking it to its new home.
Two years later
A new egg lay in the incubator, bright yellows, blacks and reds painted the surface this time. It cracked, splitting the egg in two. A creature pushes itself out. It looked unlike its main contributor, the Velociraptor, but it still had resemblances. The major differences other than the colour were the horns and frill on its head, aswell as the spine on its back and the club of hardened and reinforced osteoderms at its tail tip. It ran around the small incubator excitedly, looking up at the scientists. For a Velociraptor Hybrid, it sure was friendly. The scientists pressed that button again and the cart rolled in, the hybrid ran excitedly into it. Once again, a hybrid went to its new home.
