Firstly, I'm assuming few changes for this plot. I'm making it the way I wanted it to be. So, please assume that the global pandemic ended in July itself and now situation is back to normal and we are free to go anywhere we want to.

The whole ICT has reached UAE and they had a pretty long time before the IPL begins. And due to some security reasons, all teams was to stay in the same city for the time being, though in different hotels but in the same city.

Can you expect ICT to do nothing being in the same city?

Virat was planning a meet only for their team. Although he could freely visit anyone but he wanted to meet everyone together and he didn't want to talk about the reason.

Though AB had visited CSK's hotel to meet Faf the previous day and he even asked Virat to accompany him, Virat refused.

Not that he didn't want to go there. Infact, at this moment all he wanted to do was to rush to Mahi Bhai and tell him how much he missed him... But Mahi Bhai's unexpected announcement has made his emotions overflow than ever before. He has already cried enough on phone and Bhai really had a hard time consoling not only Virat but others too. And they had promised that they will never consider him retired and won't talk about this when they meet but Virat wasn't sure if he could keep this promise after meeting Bhai. He didn't want to make everyone sad so he thought it would be best if he meets Bhai with everyone else otherwise he will end up crying in Bhai's arms.

"They can come here too." Argued Virat, as always, with Rohit. They were on a group call over where to meet. And these two started fighting over where they will meet. At MI's hotel or RCB'S.

"We will go to neither of you. Shut up now." Said Jinks stopping their fight. "It's the best that we meet somewhere outside."

"But what's wrong if you guys come here?" Virat complained.

"Nothing will be wrong even if they come here." Snapped Rohit.

"Stop fighting you two!" Said Rahul.

"I'm with you Captain!" Said Hardik out of nowhere and everyone except Rohirat cursed him for poking in.

"See Harry is also on my side." Virat grinned and Rohit frowned.

"He is on my side. For your information, he is in MI and I'm the Captain." Said Rohit.

"You're just MI's captain. I'm the Indian captain and Harry said that to me, didn't you, Harry?"

No response.

"Harry?"

No response.

"Where did he go?" Asked Rohit.

"May be he left. Let it go.", Said Jinks making an attempt to avoid Rohirat argument.

"Yes, did someone call me?" Hardik appeared again gaining curses.

"Where did you disappear?" Asked Jassi.

"I went to grab some popcorn till their fight continues. I thought it would be fun." Said Hardik proudly.

"HARRY!!!" Shouted Virat and Rohit in unison.

"Tu ruk. Aata hoon mai.. to share your popcorn." Said Rohit walking out.

"Listen. Listen. Why didn't anyone call Jaddu or Mahi Bhai?" Asked Rahul to divert attention so that his stupid best friend can be saved.

"I've no idea." Said Virat

"You are saying this?" Asked Rahul a bit shocked as everytime Vi is the first one to call Mahi Bhai.

"Did we come to a conclusion?" Asked Jinks taking them back to the real topic.

"And we won't come to RCB's hotel." Said Bhuvi to which Rohit grinned and Virat sulked.

"And neither MI's." Bhuvi completed and Virat and Rohit's reactions were reversed.

"Somewhere outside?" Rahul suggested.

"No," said Kuldeep that instant "How about we meet at CSK's hotel?" He said after a second in a low voice.

"That's great idea, Kuli." Said Jinks thinking that this will stop Rohirat fight at least.

"My Kul always gives the best ideas." Yuzi beamed at him. "Mahi Bhai ko surprise dete hai?" And this time Kuldeep was beaming with joy.

"Abbe yeh sab tumlogo ne pehle see soch rakha tha Kya? Isliye yaha na hi Mahi Bhai hai aur na hi Jaddu?" Accused Rohit.

"Really? How come I don't know that we are going to surprise Mahi Bhai? I should be the first one to know!" Hardik whined speaking for the first time after being saved by Rahul.

"No, Harry, we didn't plan it before." Snapped Jassi. "But it's good plan. I'm dying to meet Mahi Bhai."

"Virat Bhai, what happened?" Asked Kuldeep noticing that he didn't get any response from his Virat Bhai yet.

"Haan? Nothing, kuliya." Said Virat.

"Aapko acha nhi laga Kya? It's okay then we will drop the idea, Bhai." Said Kuldeep in a hurry.

"Nhi, Kuliya, you gave the best solution, kiddo." Said Virat drawing a smile on Kuldeep's face.

"We will meet Bhai after ages." Kuldeep said excitedly.

"Yesssss." Shouted Hardik.

"Tu toh kuch bol hi mat ispe varna pitega mujhse." Virat snapped.

"Agreed. He didn't even tell me that he was visiting Ranchi." Rahul supported.

"Can we get back to the topic?" Asked Jinks.

"It's final that we will surprise them tomorrow at CSK's hotel." Said Virat.

"Don't say this to Jaddu or Bhai." Rahul said.

"It's final then. See you guys tomorrow." Said Rohit.

"Where are you going?"

"To sleep" said Rohit yawning ignoring the source of voice.

"I knew it! Ro, I'd make you practice two extra hours!" Shouted Virat and Rohit realised he has given wrong answer to wrong person.

"What? Why? I'm the Captain here. I can sleep whenever I want to. Moreover this is not the practice time." Rohit defended himself.

"Not again" Bhuvi muttered as they braced themselves for another Rohirat fight.

"Whatever! Humans sleep 8 hours a day, Ro" Virat tried to explain.

"So I don't sleep 28 hours a day, Vi." Said Rohit mimicking Virat's tone.

"There are 24 hours in a day." Virat rolled his eyes.

"Sach me? Mujhe toh pata hi nhi tha!" Said Rohit sarcastically.

"You will teach Sam wrong things. That's why I'm her favorite you know." Virat teased.

"Tera bacha hoga na tab dekhna I'll be the baby's favorite." Retorted Rohit.

"I'm everyone's favorite. Sam, Arya, Zora, Ziva, everyone!" Said Virat proudly.

"And who told you that?"

"You can ask anyone." Virat shrugged.

"Yeah they will... Vi, why is everyone so silent?" Rohit noticed.

"Jinksy?" Virat called out.

"Bhuvi?"

"Kuliya?"

"Wait, they all left." Said Rohit checking his phone.

"Uh.."

After a second of silence they too bursted out laughing.

Next morning, as planned they all met at CSK's hotel. Everyone was there on time except.... you know who.

"Jinksy!" Virat hugged Jinks.

"I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, Vi, but at least leave me or I'll fall." Jinks said chuckling.

"Virat Bhai!" Kuldeep cried out seeing Virat and Virat was equally delighted.

They both hugged each other with equal warmth and Virat was in no mood to let go of his kiddo.

"I missed you so much, Bhai." Said Kuldeep in the hug.

"I missed you too, kiddo." Replied Virat.

"I'm also here." Said Yuzi pretending to sound hurt.

"Sorry, Yuzi. I missed you." Replied Kuldeep hugging him as well.

"Morning, Captain." Hardik came along Jassi.

"Hey, Harry!" Virat hugged both of them too and soon the whole team was there.

"Where is my Rohitaa Bhaiya?" Yuzi asked.

"Don't tell me he is late again?!" Asked Virat to Jassi.

"Rohit Bhaiya said he will join us in half an hour." Replied Jassi.

"Today, I'll ask Bhai to scold him for sleeping so much. Sloth!" Virat muttered.

"Let's go now otherwise this reunion isn't going to finish any soon." Said Rahul and everyone laughed.

"Let's go. I'm so excited." Virat said excitedly like a child.

"Oye Virat!! Tum sab yaha?!" Jaddu exclaimed spotting them from some distance.

"Jaddu!" Virat cried equally excited.

They both hugged each other and started doing their typical Bhangra. Soon, the whole team joined in and no one seemed to be realising that they were not in their room but at the reception of hotel. Luckily no one except the receptionist saw their craziness.

The receptionist was first shocked to see the whole ICT together and was even more shocked seeing them like this. She coughed to gain their attention. The team got conscious and was embarrassed to find her looking at them. They composed themselves and tried started behaving formally.

"Uhm.. Hello! Could you please keep whatever you saw to yourself?" Virat asked in a formal captain tone.

"Sure, Sir. You can be assured." The girl replied trying to hide her smile.

"Thank you!" Replied Virat.

"Can.. Can I please get your autograph?" The girl asked shyly.

Happens to be Virat's fan!

"Yeah, sure!" Virat gave her his autograph.

The team smiled seeing the fangirl which assured them that she won't leak the CCTV video to media.

"Mujhe kisi me bataya kyu nhi tumlog aa the ho?" Jaddu asked.

"We thought to surprise you." Virat said.

"Let's go to Mahi Bhai's room?" Said Bhuvi.

"Come. Come. Chalo unhe darate hai ek saath!" Said jaddu grinning.

"No, I don't want to do any prank right now. I just want to meet him." Said Rahul.

"Haan vaise bhi humare pranks unpe kaam nhi karte toh rehne dete hai." Said Virat making faces recalling all their failed pranks.

They all reached Mahi's room and as always door wasn't locked. They barged in the room without knocking so that they can surprise him.

"Mahi Bhai!!!" They all shouted at once entering the room and was shocked at the view.

This is a new story with the whole team basically and a little bit of old team as well. This is the first time I'm trying to write something with them so I hope it won't be disastrous.
