Shelby's P.O.V.

Oh my Irene I'm finally out of the three day maid training on the other side of the castle. Ugh it is horrible. We all know how to fold sheets and wash towels. I heard about a thief being held in the castle while I was gone.

If it's Aphmau then maybe o can help her to escape. Or if it's anyone else from the thieves guild I will be a messenger. I walk to the kitchen to chill with Teony the chef. She has just made some apple pie and sweet rolls. I really want to try some.

As I'm walking I see a young woman in a purple dress looking around a corner.

I walk up to her and tap her on her shoulder. She turns around and I immediately recognise her as Aphmau.

"Shelby!" Aphmau says and hugs me tightly

"Hey Aph, what's going on? Why are you here?" I ask her

"Oh I got captured and I'm being lazy. I could escape but I want to learn more about the castle" Aphmau states

"Oh hey want to come with me or the kitchen? My friend Teony has made apple pie and sweet rolls" I explain

"Sure lets go" she replies

Jeffory's P.O.V.

As I am coming back from my early morning training I see Aphmau speaking with that one maid from the first day we met her. I watch them and I can just hear what they are saying. They are going to the kitchen.

I follow them and listen in on their conversation. Aphmau is leading about secret passages in the castle and Shelby is actually helping the thieves. Shelby will be fired for this. But that would make Aphmau dislike me, I don't want to do that to her.

They go into the kitchen and greet one of the chefs. I know her, she is the head chef. I think her name is Teony. They sit down at the bench and begin talking. Apparently Shelby is dating Red, one of the thieves. Aphmau and Shelby have worked together a lot.

Aphmau talks about Shelby delivering a note to the thieves for her. She gets some paper and begins writing. After a while Aphmau and Shelby walk out and Aphmau gives Shelby a note. Aphmau heads back to her room and I follow her.

I knock on her door and she opens it looking hopeful. When she sees its me her face falls a little. It makes me feel a little upset and jealous over who thought she was going to be here.

"Oh hi" she says dully

"Hey Aphmau, I was wondering, how close are you with Shelby?" I ask her

"None of your business" she replies

"Aphmau are you trying to escape?" I ask her

"Well of course, that's what I've been doing since I came here" she says

I hug her and she freezes.

"I'll miss you" I whisper in her ear

I let her go and I leave. I leave her standing there looking shocked. I can't believe gang she might be gone soon. I guess she will still try to steal from here though.

Ross' P.O.V.

My cousin Shelby came to the thieves cave and she gave us a note from Aphmau. Aphmau has asked for assistance in an escape. I really want to go to help her but it will take convincing. I need to convince Katelyn that I can go.

"Katelyn please let me go!" I say begging her on my knees

"Oh alright, be careful" she states

The second I get the ok I grab my stuff and I run to the castle. Usually I am the brains of the of the operation but that doesn't mean I'm not a trained thief. I make it to the castle in about ten minutes. Now to find a way in. Aphmau drew a map of a secret passage.

I sneak in and start looking around for Aphmau. She has to be here somewhere. I arrive at a meeting hall and I press my ear to the door.

It sounds lies the noble children are having a meeting, they are speaking about Aphmau. They are talking about how she might forget about her old friends and stealing from people. This makes my blood boil so I slam the doors open.

I feel all of their eyes on me but I'm not scared.

"You all have some nerve, Aphmau cares of for us and loves us" I start "We have been friends since we were kids, with the acceptation of two traitors. We are closer than you will ever be with anyone so don't you dare think for a second that she will forget about us"

"Ross?" Sky states looking shocked

"What are you doing here?" Jin asks

"Well if you must know you snobs, I'm saving Aphmau. Later, narwhal away" I say and I run through the halls

The nobles jump up and chase me. I continue running until I accidentally crash into a young woman in a purple dress.

"Aphmau?" I say

I have never seen her in a casual dress.she is so beautiful.

"Ross!" She yells and jumps onto my hugging me

I pick her up bridal style because she can't run and jump as well as she can in a dress. We run onto the balcony and she turns to look back at the nobles. I see her mouth "Goodbye, we'll see each other again" to one of the nobles in red with black hair.

I hold her and keep running as fast as I can. I will make it to the thieves cave and everyone will be like a big happy family again. It will be just like normal. I can't wait for everything to be back to normal.

Aaron's P.O.V.

Aphmau has left. I feel heartbroken. She said that we would see each other again but when? I know that she had people to return to but I just, can't let it go that she is gone. I walk into the room she was staying in and close the door.

I slide my back down the wall and I bury my face in my hands. This room is so empty without her. I notice something in the bed, it's a note that says "To Aaron".

I open it and prepare for what I'm about to read.

If you are reading this it means I was saved by one of my friends. I'm so sorry that I am leaving you all alone but I need to go home again. My friend need me. We should see each other soon and o really hope we do. Thank you for being around me even though I was a thief - Aphmau

Aaron's P.O.V.

Aphmau's note gives me hope. She still thought about me even as she was leaving. I am really jealous of Ross. He just took her away from us. I walk back to ten meeting hall and everyone is discussing that we need to bring Aphmau back here.

Even Zane misses her and it's only been a few hours. Well I hope that she can come back. Zane is talking about going into the forest to look for the thieves guild. And he is going to use Shelby. Apparently she helped in Aphmau's getaway. Zane is kind of a tsundere.
