His dream had become reality. Ash his friends had stopped Lysandre from erasing their lives. In a way, from erasing the fictional Pokemon's lives, too, as they wouldn't have existed if he didn't.

He couldn't stop thinking about it as he walked closer to the edge of the tower. The last time he was atop a tower like this, it was a simulation. Now, it was real. He was smiling, enjoying the view of the fluorescent lights of the city.

At this moment, he had everything. He had his friends, his journey, and although they weren't real, his Pokemon. There wasn't a single thing he would change.

The air of the night couldn't be fresher. He was alone with the stars and moon.

"Ash?"

He turned to see Clemont, yawning with a bottle in his hand.

"Not ideal to come to a roof drunk", Ash chuckled, gently taking the bottle out of his hand and leaning him on his shoulder.

"What're you doing up here?"

"Just...getting some fresh air. For real this time, you know?"

"Yeah..."

Gradually the others made their appearance on the roof. Soon, they were all sitting on the edge of the tower, either watching the view, mumbling drunkenly or sleeping. There were a few moments of silence before Clemont mustered up the courage to speak again.

"You know something, Ash?"

"You're glad the dream somewhat became real and that we're all together?"

"Yeah...that, and the fact that our house here is, like, ten miles away and I don't think I can hold out the ride..."

There was an echo of agreeing moans over the group.

Ash sighed, knowing he'd have to drag thirty people into the nearest apartment he could find. He thought they might as well have a foreign song to put them all to sleep.

As if he was on stage, his melodic voice echoed through the sky.

"The sun will rise again. After tears. After joy.
Dream as you wish.
The moon will still shine.
Do as you can
I will always be proud"
