"I wanna see you"
"Well my parents are buying breakfast-"
"They ok with me coming over?"
"I'll ask"

I glance up from my phone, "I'm going to go ask my parents something, I'll be right back."
Jen nods, not glancing over to me, just staring at the TV.
"Ok!" Ash calls from the bathroom where they're getting dressed.

"Hey!" I run over and hug Zack as he and Jake enter the hotel, taking a deep breath in and soaking up the moment.
Jake had stayed the night at Zacks house so they came at the same time.
Zack squeezes me tight and before letting go so I could greet Jake.
"You came!" Ash exclaims.
"I mean, how could we miss out on free breakfast?" Zack shrugs.
Ash raises an eyebrow, "Its not fr-"
"I know it's not, I was joking. But it's free for us. Just not for Lana's parents..." He trails off, laughing afterwards.
I smile, holding back laughter.
"Ok, let's go," I start to lead the way to the elevators where my family will be coming down in just a minute to meet us for breakfast.
As we walk, I let Ash and Jake go slightly ahead of Zack and I and I glance in his direction. He smiles at me and extends his hand towards me. I take it, holding it tightly until we get to the elevators and Ash and Jake begin to turn to face us.
As I let go of Zacks hand I glance at him apologetically and he nods with understanding which makes me smile a little.

"We're only doing this breakfast thing today and Wednesday. The food here is way too expensive to be doing this every day," my father explains as he leads the way to the buffet.
"Its Friday, right?" Ash whispers to me.
I nod, "yep," then look to my father, "sounds reasonable."

"You guys ready to go down to the wand shop and do the wand quest thing?" Shrek asks.
We all nod rapidly.
The whole group of us is crammed into my parents room hanging out for a moment after breakfast.
"I figure since Lana has the wand from when us three were younger and Zack brought his own, the twins could use our wand, Shrek and I will buy a wand to play with them, and you four can use Zacks wand," Persia states, "sound good?"
"Yeah!" I nod, my friends and the twins nodding with me.
I head over my room to my suitcase and grab our old brown "wooden" wand to bring back to my parents room for the twins. Zacks wand is cooler anyways; it's the "silver" one and it has a cool dragon topper.

The eight of us tell my parents what we're doing and head down to the wand shop. We're on floor six so it's a long, crowded elevator ride.
Once we get off the elevator I trail behind slightly with Zack and offer him my hand to hold. He smiles at me and takes my hand, stepping closer to me as we walk. We swing our arms a couple times and hold back giggles as we look at each other.
"Right there," Persia points.
She glances back and Zack let's go of my hand, glancing at me quickly. I look at him apologetically and we walk into the wand shop. I just want to hold his stupid hand. Ugh.

"Fairy!" Ash yells as she waves the wand at the statue of the fairy in the little hidden room.
"Awesome!" I clap, "what's next?"
We had spent the past half hour running up and down stairs trying to complete the Magi quest. We gave the twins and my older siblings a slight head start since they got their wands activated first and we had only seen then a few times since then.
Ash hands the wand over to Jake and points to the instructions on the big screen in front of us.
We all nod and race off to the stairway to find the next part of our quest.
"Getting such a workout," I groan, "my knee is going to shoot me after this trip and it's only the second day."
"Oop-" Ash says from beside me.
Zack was up ahead with Jake. Zack was probably the thinnest and most athletic of us all so he had minimal problem with all the stairs.
"Please don't die," Zack says.
My heart flutters a little and I have the urge to go up and hold his hand but I know I probably shouldn't.
"Too much paperwork," Jake nods.
"Pfft-" I scoff then laugh, "rude!"

"Yes!" We all scream when we finish the quest.
Ash hops over and hugs Jake and I take the opportunity to reach for Zack.
He squeezes me tightly and sways back and forth. I can tell when I open my eyes briefly that Ash and Jake had already stopped and were looking at us so I pushed him away.
Zack let's out a tiny, almost silent sigh as he looks at me and then I do the same.
"We should go to the pool," Ash suggests.
"Yeah!" I agree.
The boys both nod enthusiastically and we all head back to my parents room.

"Let's start with the wave pool again," I suggest.
My friends nod and we make our way down the stairs towards the wave pool.
Did Zack and I almost kiss yesterday? I shake away the thought and walk into the water, glancing behind me at Zack and Jake.
As I glance behind me, I make eye contact with Zack and let it linger for a second before I look in front of me again, almost bumping into someone.
"The waves are starting!" Ash calls over their shoulder, "hurry!"
I laugh and pick up the pace to Join them further out in the water.
Zack and Jake catch up to me after a moment and soon the four of us are all in the deeper end of the water, jumping with the waves.
The waves crash against us and we're all bouncing around. The water burns as it goes up my nose and down my throat and the whole experience feels like a blur.

"Little slides?" Zack suggests as the waves begin to calm down.
"Yes!" I draw out the s for a moment and jump up and down.
"Let's go," Zack nods towards the slides and starts heading towards the shallow end of the pool.
I wait a second for Ash to catch up to me and walk beside them as we get out of the pool.
Once we get over to the stairs up to the little slide we start coordinating who's going where.
"How about we go doubles on the green slide?" I suggest.
Hopefully I can go with Zack- my thoughts break off and I glance to Ash, but I really want to go with them-
"How about Lana and I on one float and Jake and Ash on another and then we switch and do the little blue one with Me and Jake together and Ash and Lana together?" Zack suggests.
My heart flutters, Yes!
The rest of us all nod and we start grabbing tubes and heading to the line.
Luckily the lines for the smaller slides are much shorter at the moment. I glance up towards the lines for the big slides and see them going down most of the stairs. That's insane-

Once we finally get to the front of the line, Jake and Ash go first. Zack and I watch as they climb onto their tube and start going down.
"Almost our turn," Zack whispers into my ear, leaning over to me and letting his free hand brush against the left side of my waist.
"Next," the lifeguard looks to us and we snap our gazes to look at them.
We get onto the float and I glance back at Zack for a moment before the lifeguard pushes the float down.
Zack leans forward a little and places his chin on my shoulder when the ride first starts. I turn my head slightly to look at him, leaning my head against his. Once the tube starts speeding up Zack leans back into his spot and we start screaming excitedly.
"Whooohoooo!" Zack screams.
I do a quick wolf howl before screaming as we go down a tiny drop.

"Yeah, that's two pepperoni, two meat lovers, and a cheese pizza," my father repeats to the phone.
I glance over at Ash.
"Damn, that's a lot," Ash laughs.
I nod, eyes wide. Out of the corner of my eyes I can see my mother glaring at Ash for their word choice and I bite my lip.
"Sounds good, thank you," my father hangs up the phone and looks to all of us, "k, let's head to the lobby."

"This is amazing," I moan slightly, getting a small smirk from Zack and a cut off laugh from Ash.
I shove Ash's shoulder and shake my head at her, glancing at Zack only briefly.
"It goes great with the taste of chlorine," Zack nods.
"I'd have a baby with this pizza," Persia pretends to fan herself and silently says 'hot'..
I laugh and take another bite of my pizza.

"Goodnight!" I hug Jake for a moment then let go and turn to face Zack.
Zack steps closer to me and gives me a hug, briefly lifting my feet off the ground, which causes me to clutch his shoulders with my hands and giggle.
"Goodnight," he smiles at me and winks with his left eye so my family doesn't see it.
I can feel my face turn bright red and my eyes flash widely for a moment before I turn to face Ash.
"See you tomorrow," Jake waves and the two boys turn to face the main doors.
I wish I could stay here with them forever.
