"How goes your day?"
"Ehhhh"

After breakfast I head to my room and look into my closet for an outfit for the day. Clyde and I have plans to go to the Cafe with our friends and I'd be driving the two of us along with Aubrey.
As I look through my closet, what I see catches me off guard; Zacks jacket.
I hadn't worn Zacks jacket in quite a while- I didn't want to get the white fabric dirty.
I glance down at the black jeans I'm holding and decide to reevaluate the plan of a red shirt, instead going with a simple black t-shirt to go under the white jacket.
Once I have my clothes together, I sit down on my bed and hold the jacket to my face, thinking back to the day he had given it to me with a happy sigh.

Once I'm dressed I take a quick picture wearing the jacket and send it to Zack.

Me: remember this?
Zack: hey! My jacket!
Me: 😂 I've still got it
Zack: I see that
Me: I don't think youre ever getting this back
Zack: Probably not 😂
Me: 😂

I slide my phone into my pocket and head out to my car to meet Clyde.

"Hey!" I exclaim as I roll my window down and wave at Aubrey.
Clyde, sitting in the passenger seat, waves semi-awkwardly to Aubrey as she approaches the car.
She waves back at us and climbs into the back seat of my jeep.

"Hey," Tristan says around his mouthful of blueberry muffin as the three of us walk into the café.
Rider, who is sitting in an arm chair with Amelia on his lap, waves at us. Amelia raises her eyebrows in greeting, her hands full with her large fruit smoothie.
"We're gonna go order and then we'll come sit down," Clyde nods toward the counter and leads the way to it.
Clyde begins ordering his drink and I turn my attention to the menu.
"So an iced chocolate coconut mocha," The employee restated his order, "extra chocolate drizzle?"
Clyde nods, "yes, and a chocolate chip muffin top."
"And I'll have a carmel macchiato with extra carmel with a chocolate chip muffin top," I request.
"Extra sweet too or just extra carmel?" The employee looks up from the computer screen.
"Just carmel, lots of carmel," I laugh nervously.
Clyde and I wait as Aubrey orders her blended, chocolate filled, coffee along with a lemon poppyseed muffin top. Once her orders placed, we pay with my card and Clyde hands me a wadded up ten and Aubrey passes me a five and a few ones. I shove them both into my wallet and step to the left to wait for our orders.
The three of us all hover awkwardly, glancing to our friends, as we wait for our drinks and muffin tops which soon arrive on the counter.
Aubrey begins walking towards the couches, her tall block heeled boots squeaking quietly as she walks.
Clyde and I sit down on the familiar soft blue-grey couch with Kevin and Tristan beside us. Aubrey takes a seat beside Ashley and Parker on the other couch.
Ashley takes a quick sip of her coffee, licking her lips once she's removed the straw, and begins to speak, "I can't believe we'll be graduating in just a few months."
We all nod.
"Finally," I laugh.
The rest of the group laughs for a moment but we're cut off by the ring of the bell marking the entrance of a new customer.
I glance up from my drink to see three girls with curled hair and long legs. The girls glance around the café with a hint of arrogance, the girl in the lead has a disgusted expression as she spots us.
"Amber," Clyde whispers through gritted teeth.
And then began a very unpleasant afternoon.

"And then Amelia ran out crying," I finished.
Ash stared wide eyed at me from my phone screen, "damn- that's intense- Amber sucks-"
I nod, "Rider had to go after her and I haven't heard anything from either of them."
"So she just walked over and started being a bitch?" Ash raises an eyebrow.
"She got her peppermint mocha first," I roll my eyes.
"Damn," Ash trails off.
"Mhm," I nod, "how was your day?"
