"Kylie," a voice whispers. I groan and turn over, tired as heck,"Wake up!" I open my heavy eyes and see my four best friends beside me, their eyes wide with worry.

"You're awake!" Megan squealed, her blonde hair leaping into the air along with the rest of her. She lunged forward out of the wooden chair and hugged me hard, knocking the air out if me.

"Wha?" I managed to choke out, pathetic blonde still squeezing me.

"You can't remember?" Bethany said worriedly, her normally bright blue eyes dull. I nod my head, not sure what else to do. I honesty have no clue what's going on.

"You saved a pedestrian crossing the street when a car was about to hit them, but a car hit you!" Megan sobbed, still hugging me as her tears stained my white dress.

Kayla and Layla both seemed happy and were smiling like dorks. They both had identical gleaming green eyes and curly black hair cut to their shoulders.

"What is up with ya'll?" I ask the twins, their identicalness beginning to freak me out.

"The person you just so happened to push out of the way has Harry from 1D!" Their smiles grew a few more inches, but mine dropped.

"Crap... I should have just let the car hit him," I mutter annoyed. The twins looked at me with an unreadable expression and shrugged. 1D. Their voices annoy me, and the entire band are attractive idiots.

Megan, who finally let go if me squealed, her eyes still wet with tears,"But we got adopted!"

I perked up,"We all did?" I never dreamed of the day this would actually happen. My frown immediately turned upside down and I felt like a million bucks.

"Yeah!" Megan said excitedly, energy pulsing through her as she hopped around in her pair of purple flats. Wait. She never wears those unless it's a special occasion...

Bethany was about to speak when a familiar voice said,"Call me daddy!"

I look over and see all of 1D looking at us happily, even worse than the twins.

"Kill me now." I grumbled before falling back down hopelessly on the cot, any happiness gone.
