Ok so I was going through the comments in the initial part of the book and there was much of a hype on what will happen on Anika's birthday next year. This is especially dedicated to sidlove143 who started that hype and was more excited than shivika for their 'wo wala thing' 😂😂😂

AROUND AN YEAR LATER

“Baby wake up He told kissing her forehead and she snuggled more into his chest sleepily as she pulled the duvet over her head.

“It's already eight” He told and she raised her head to look at him.

“So? It's Sunday. Now sleep, let me also sleep” She told closing her eyes.

“Ok then let me go. You sleep” He told trying to take her grip from him and she shook her head.

“I can't sleep without hugging you. You know that right?” She asked pouting and he chuckled.

She made patterns on his chest with her index finger, smiling while he kissed her head. That was her favourite thing to do and eventually he turned habitual to it.

“What's the day tomorrow Shiv?” She asked and he shrugged.

“What's the day tomorrow? A normal day like today and yesterday” He told and she looked at him with a smile.

“I know you'll surprise me. It's ok I'll wait” She told with a wide smile making him confused.

“What surprise? It's not Valentine's day tomorrow then what surprise?” He asked and she smiled.

“Keep saying” She told sitting upright on the bed as she tied her hair in a messy bun.

He got up and held her across her waist from behind making her shake at the sudden catch.

“Say what?” He asked as he kissed her shoulder while moving the thin material of his shirt from shoulder.

She wiggled her shoulder with a blushy smile and was about to get down when he pulled her back to the bed, going on top of her.

“What's the hurry? It's Sunday and nobody's at home” He told nuzzling in the crook of her neck and she closed her eyes as she snaked her arms around his neck.

“I'm hungry” She told amidst her heavy breaths.

“Even I'm very much hungry” He told holding her waist under the shirt.

“Shiv please” She whispered as he highlighted the faded red mark on her neck with his expertise.

She dug her nails onto his shoulder as she turned her neck giving him more access there.

“Baby shopping” He told sitting upright and she opened her eyes startled.

“What?”

“Shopping” He told and she frowned looking at him.

“Go alone. I'm not coming” She told turning her face and he chuckled before kissing her making her smile.

“You really don't remember what is tomorrow?” She asked and he looked confused at her.

“Will you tell me what is tomorrow? What is the date?” he asked and she raised her head to look at him.

“What?” He asked and she shook her head.

“Really?” She asked and he shrugged.

“I seriously don't know whatever you're talking about. Let's go and have our break--Lunch now” He told looking at the clock and she chuckled.

“Now you're not hungry?” She asked and he raised his eyebrows.

“Biwi is very romantic today. What happened?” He asked and she smiled while pushing away the strands of his hair that fell on his forehead.

“Woh kya hai na? Staying with you, I'm also becoming a cheapdi” She told making him chuckle.

“Ahaan! Koi nahi. Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai senorita” He told and she chuckled before hugging him.

“By the way patidevji, I'm very hungry and if I don't eat anything now, I'll faint” She told pouting.

“Ok then do one thing. Go and fresh up. By the time, I'll get the food” He told and she nodded.

He was about to get down the bed but she pouted looking at him.

“Tussi ja rahe ho?” She asked like Kajol of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie gham.

“K3G affected your brain very badly senorita” He told chuckling and she looked at him with queer in her eyes.

“Come” He told spreading his arms and she smiled widely before rushing to his arms.

“Sometimes I wonder, why does my shirts look perfect on you? I mean I don't look so good in my own shirts” He told and she hid her head on his shoulder with a blushy smile.

His phone rang and he turned to look at it.

“Take that phone”

“You take it”

“As you can see, my hands are not free” He told and she frowned before taking the phone from the table.

“Bhaiyya calling. I'll attend. You keep walking” She told and he shook his head chuckling before walking downstairs holding her in his arms.

“Shivaay what——”

“It's Anika. Waise now you don't want to talk to your sister na?” She asked with a frown and Shivaay chuckled.

“Arre it's not like that. You give the phone to Shivaay otherwise your Bhabhi is all ready to murder me” Arnav told whispering and she kept the phone on Shivaay's ear.

“Hello?” Shivaay told confused.

“No time for hello. Is there anything special today? Khushi is sitting here with this stone like face glaring at me. Did I forget something today?” He asked horrified and Shivaay thought for sometime.

“I don't think so. Anika what is the day today?” Shivaay asked looking at Anika.

“Sunday? Bhaiyya you promised Bhabhi to take her for lunch in that new Punjabi restaurant” She told quickly and Arnav widened his eyes.

“Oh shoot! Yes. Thank you sweetheart. We'll see if I'm alive” Arnav told and hanged the call hurriedly.

“Bhabhi is making Bhaiyya dance to her tunes” She told chuckling as he made her sit on the kitchen counter.

“And you're happy about it?” He asked and she shrugged.

“Did you ask him to make Bhabhi pregnant?” Anika asked and he looked weirdly at her.

“No? Why would I?” He asked although he remembered vaguely teasing Arnav to make him Mamu soon, before Arshi went for their honeymoon. He didn't know his best friend was so loyal to him and too fast with things.

“Exactly! He deserves it! I mean he got Bhabhi pregnant. He should as well tolerate the after effects” She told and he looked shocked at her.

“I'm not getting you pregnant ever. If my ever calm sister is like this, I can't even imagine what you'll make me do. Never!” He told horrified and she burst out laughing.

“Aww” She told pulling his cheeks and he shook his head making her chuckle.

“Alu Puri. Please” She told with puppy eyes and he nodded.

“Happy birthday” He whispered in her ear and she smiled faintly as she turned to him making him surprised. The very moment her phone rang and he chuckled.

He took the phone from the side table and attended it.

“I wished her first” He told and Arnav frowned.

“I know but I need to wish her now. Give the phone to her” Arnav told and Shivaay gave the phone to her.

Once she hanged the call, he raised his eyebrows at her.

“You didn't sleep?” He asked surprised and she shook her head.

“Sky may fall down but I know you won't forget my birthday” She told making him chuckle.

He kissed her forehead and she looked at him.

“Gift” She demanded and he chuckled.

“What gift do you want?” He asked and she shrugged.

“You should give me gift. You can't ask me” She told and he pecked her lips.

“Ok?” He asked and she hit his chest.

“No” She told with a frown and he chuckled.

“What did you tell me about standing under the bridge of sighs in one of gondolas in Venice while the St Mark's bell rings?” He asked thoughtfully and she widened her eyes.

It was a legend that if two lovers kissed standing beneath the bridge of sighs at sunset while the bells of St. Marks's were ringing, they would love each other forever. It was a childish thing but since Anika believed in it, Shivaay was hell bent on fulfilling it.

“Really?” She asked shocked and he smiled.

“Tomorrow night, right after the party, we're off to Venice” He told and she looked at him for sometime with open mouth making him chuckle.

“You're not serious”

“I'm very serious” He told and the next moment, he felt her lips on his.
