Brightpaw was feeling brave and decided to go on to dark trail with bending trees and shadows everywhere. She knew nothing could hurt her cause it was only a dream.

What she didnt know or see, was the orange cat sitting far away, frowning at her choice, then disappeared.

As she went on, she felt something watching her. She looked behind and gasped. The trail where she had just walked down was completely gone. Only the bendy trees were there.

She started to freak out and ran forward, spooked. She soon started to have to dodge the branches of the trees, but it was difficult for a kit like Brightkit.

She soon had to stop, all her energy gone. She now looked in front of her and saw a cat. It had jet black fur. She tilted her head at the strange thing around its neck. The cat only smiled with sharp teeth and push down on Brightkit.

She closed her eyes then opened them up again. To her suprise, she was in the nursery. She looked at her mother who was still sleeping. She didnt know what to do next.

Shall she...

Go back to sleep with a chance of meeting the black cat again.

Stay up til morning comes.

Wake up mother.

Hmmm... I forgot all about this book. 😂 Welp, guess I gotta keep typing up chapters.
