Echostar silently stood up and stretched. She padded out of her den and looked around at the apprentices. Her gaze drifted towards Mousepaw. She was already 10 means old and Echostar decided she should ask Mousepaw's mentor. 

Echostar walked over to Daisystalker and said, "Good morning Daisystalker! Do you think Mousepaw is ready to become a warrior?"

"Yes. Mousepaw has worked hard and I think she is ready to become a true warrior of RiverClan," Daisystalker replied. 

Echostar nodded and jumped up onto a willow tree and called a clan meeting. "Let all cats old enough to swim gather to hear my words!" She yowled. Many cats came into the clearing and sat down. 

"Mousepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?" Echostar asked when Mousepaw stepped forward.

"I do," Mousepaw replied.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Mousepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Mousestream. StarClan honors your bravery and courage, and we welcome you as a full warrior of RiverClan," Echostar said and the clan began cheering Mousestream's name. 

That evening, Echostar walked alongside Mousepaw and nodded at her when Mousepaw sat down. She walked off towards her den and quickly fell asleep.
