Steven's POV
I woke up in a strange place. It was pink and furry. Reminded me of Lion, but it wasn't him. I got up to walk around. There where rocks all over the ground, along with fur, and sparkles. I walked some more until I bumbed into someone. They looked down on me. It was a gem. She had a long dress, and beautiful hair. "M-Mom?" I asked Studdering. She nodded. "Why am I here? Where am I?" I yelled.

Rose's POV
"Steven, you have no need to shout." I said, quietly. "Where am I?" He asked again in a whisper. "Inside your gem." I replied. "How?" He said in a regular voice. I sighed. "During the war, something bad happend, forcing you to go to your gem, but, that's not right..." I paused. "Why is it not right?" Steven asked. "You're half human, it's possible." I then walked up to the edge of the gem. I saw Pearl, Amythest, Ruby, and Sapphire. I wonder why thy split up? I thought. "Steven, come here." I told him. He came right away.

Steven's POV
Once I got there mom picked me up. "Look." She said. I looked. Pearl was there, crying, and Amythest was trying to comfort her. Same went for Sapphire and Ruby. Pearl then spoke in a loud voice "OH, STEVEN!!" "What's wrong?" I asked mom. "Its unnatural for you to go into your gem." She replied. "They think your dead." "But I'm not!!" I quickly said. "I know, but as long as this goes on, they'll think your dead." She softly said, then put me down. "The only bright side is, we can see each other now." She said, followed by a giggle. She then walked off, then I followed.
