There are different types of experts in a given field: the fake experts, knowledgeable experts, and the real experts.  The fake expert pretends to know everything about a field. The knowledgeable expert knows everything about a field. A real expert can apply everything they know about a field.

A master would fit into the real expert category. If you asked a master to prove their skill, they will make you regret you doubted them.
