*2 weeks later*

Anika: (Knocking on Gauri's door) Gauri! Gauri! Tum abhi tak taiyaar nahi hui?

Kamaal hai, koi jawaab hi nahi de rahi!

Gauri, main andar aa rahi hoon!

[Anika slowly opened the door and saw that Gauri wasn't in her room. She looked around and then found a note on her bed.]

Anika: (Reading the note) Agar isse zinda paana chahte ho toh aaj shaam ke 6 baje tak 50 lakh taiyyaar karke rakhna, aur lakeside bridge par aa jaana.

Police ko bataane ki himmat bhi hui toh isske tukde tukde kar denge

[Anika was horrified the moment she read the note and ran downstairs, crying]

Shivaay: (Worried) Kya hua, Anika? Tum ro kyun rahi ho?

Anika: (Crying) S-shivaay, kissi ne Gauri ko kidnap kar liya hai! Yeh dekho!

Om: (Shocked) What?!

Shivaay: Ab yeh kaunsa naya khel hai?

Om: (Reading the note) I was right...Yeh Vikram sahi banda nahi lagta! Pata nahi kyun, but I think uska iss sab mein koi na koi haath zaroor hai!

Shivaay, tum police commissioner ko phone karo, main jaakar aas-paas waalo se pooch-taach karta hoon

Shivaay: O-Okay...

[The whole family saw Om run out of the house, with worry quiet prominently shown on his face, and they realized that this was the first time that they saw him look so worried and scared.]

Anika: Shivaay, aap Jaldi se usse dhoond nikaliye! Woh iss jagah ko theek tarah jaanti se jaanti bhi nahi!

Shivaay: Anika, kuch nahi hoga Gauri ko, Main abhi phone commissioner ko phone karta hoon

[While Shivaay alerted the police commissioner and a full task force was sent, Om drove nearby and kept asking people if they had seen Gauri anywhere.

He had never felt so restless before. It had been almost 3 weeks since she came, and despite laying personal boundaries for himself, they still developed a bond.

Om, for some reason, felt personally liable for Gauri's disappearance. He took it upon himself to look out for her and to find Vikram, and he couldn't even do that properly.

Om's view of Vikram was changing day by day. He began thinking that he was a liar, and that he'd just played with Gauri's emotions.

He was terrified.

Terrified of what could possibly happen to her.

Was she safe? Was she going to be okay?

Om didn't even understand why he was bothered so much, but he didn't care.

All that mattered right now was finding Gauri, and making sure she was safe.

Om dialled Shivaay's number, to receive updates on Gauri's whereabouts, but she was still not found.]

Om: (Frustrated) Kya Matlab nahi pata? Shivaay, it's been more than 3 hours!

Shivaay: I know, Om, main abhi Rudy ke saath Hoon, and we're trying to find out where she is.

Om: Khanna ke saath paise bhej do, main 6 baje paise dene jaaonga

Shivaay: Okay, but please calm down Om, she'll be fine---

Om: (Frustrated) Yeh iss sheher ko jaanti bhi nahi hai! Pata nahi kiss haal mein hogi, Kya Kar rahi hogi, I-I----

Shivaay: Om, this is not the time to get emotional. Please, please calm down. Gauri ko kuch nahi hoga, just relax

[Om annoyingly disconnected the call and kept the phone on the seat, while Shivaay and Rudra were confused by his behaviour.]

Shivaay: Yeh sahi nahi hai

Rudra: Kya sahi nahi hai?

Shivaay: 3 hafte mein woh Gauri se itna attached Ho Gaya hai, mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai

Rudra: Bhaiyya, Yeh sab sochne ka time nahi hai!

[Meanwhile, Om, who got the money from Khanna was well on his way to Lakeside bridge to hand the money over, but his car suddenly stopped in the middle of the road, and frustrated Om got out the car, wondering what to do.

How would he hand over the money then? How would he get Gauri? ]

Om: (Kicking the car tyre) Shit! shit! Shit!

[Just then, an auto rickshaw whizzed by and stopped near the car, but Om, who was busy fixing his car, didn't notice who it was, but the voice seemed eerily familiar.]

Gauri: (Shouting) Aise kaise 150 rupay? 5 minute bhi nahi chale aap!

Rickshaw wala: Didi, hum meter ke hisaab se Bata rahe hai!

Gauri: Aapka meter gaya tel lene! Humaare paas sirf 70 rupay hai, ussi se kaam chalaayie!

Rickshaw wala: Didi, 70 se kuch nahi hoga! Hume 150 dijiye warna hume police ke paas jaana padega!

Gauri: Dhamki de rahe Ho? Arre tum jaiso se hum roz nipat te the, Bareilly mein! Dekho bhaiya, seedhi tarah Bata rahe hai, paise lelo warna---

Om: (Shouting) Yehi jagah mili Thi Kya behas karne ki----

Gauri?!

[Om dropped the tool from his hand and ran towards Gauri, immediately caressing her cheeks, and trying to inspect her face and body for any wounds and injuries.

Gauri, on the other hand, looked at Om in confusion, but that didn't stop Om from wrapping his arms around her and hugging her tight, before thanking the stars that she was hale and hearty.]

Om: Tum Bach kaisi gayi?!

Gauri: Arre kissi ki itni majaal ki Woh Gauri Kumari Sharma ko kidnap karein? Unki thodi pitaai karne ke baad wahaan se bhaag aaye!

Rickshaw wala: Didi, humaare paise

Om: Kya? Tumne unn logo ki pitaai ki?! Dimaag kharab ho Gaya hai Kya?

Rickshaw wala: Humaare paise de dijiye

Gauri: Aur ka karte? Woh 50 lakh maang rahe the! Itni badi rakam hoti hai!

Rickshaw wala: Humaare paise---

Gauri and Om: (Shouting) De rahe hai yaar!

[Om pulled out the money and paid the rickshaw wala, before continuing his interrogation with Gauri.]

Om: Unn logo ne tumhaare saath kuch kiya nahi na?

Gauri: Nahi, agar karne ki himmat hoti, Toh Hum unke haath na todte?

[Om let out a slight laugh before pulling out his phone and informing Shivaay that Gauri had been found.

But there was one problem now.

How would they get home? His car had broken down.]

Gauri: Hum rickshaw se chalenge!

Om: Nahi, nahi!

Gauri: aur koi raasta nahi hai! Chaliye!

[Gauri halted a rickshaw, but the moment they got in, Om realised he was far too tall and his head hit the roof. Gauri slowly lowered his head and rested it on her shoulder, and instantly, Om felt so safe and secured.

Her fragrance slowly lingered onto him, and as the wind continuously hit their faces, Om just continuously gazed at her.

Why was this happening to him? Why was he feeling so unusual around her? Like it seemed right yet so wrong?

Why was he digging his own grave and being close to her? Despite knowing that he'd have his heart broken and shattered?

The moment the rickshaw stopped, Om immediately paid and got off the rickshaw while Gauri followed him.

He had to stay away from her.

At any cost.]
