Nagakanti returned to her clan in her snake form and quickly transformed. Everyone were waiting for her eagerly, a smile spread across their lips seeing their aadi naagin. Vasuki came to her and she hugged him, he was very eager to see his daughter.

V: tu jang jeet gayi na? Ab naagmani par koi khatra nahi na?

N: jee baba, ab naagmani par koi khatra nahi.

He released the hug and he smiled proudly at her.

V: mujhe garv hai tujh pe, tu ne uss cheel ko harra diya bachay, (he saw her hand bleeding) ye kaise hua bachay?

N: baba main aap ko sab bataun gi, lekin pehle baaki sab se mil loon na tab, theek hai

He nodded. She went and met everyone else and at last she met Hashwrindan giving him cold looks.

N: dekh lo Hashwrindan, tumhare saamne sahi salamat khari hoon, kuchh nahi hua mujhe. Kaha tha na aadi naagin hoon main?

H: haan aur tum ne saabit bhi kar dikhaya. Waise woh cheel zinda hai?

N: haan, zinda hai, (she smiled coldly at him) munh morr liya us ne apna naagmani se, tum fikar mat karo, dusht se dusht'ta se he kaam liya jaata hai na Hashwrindan

He just smiled failing to see the sarcasm behind her words.

H: magar aisa kya kiya tum ne ke woh maan gaya?

N: shart... Shart ke anusaar agar mere lahoo ka ek katra bhi behta toh main us ki, aur agar us ke lahoo ka katra behta, toh woh naagmani se munh morrta, (she showed him her bleeding hand shocking him) toh dekh lo tum, kya hua? Chaunk gaye? Haan main us ki ho gayi, aadi naagin cheelo'n ke rajkumar ki ho gayi, tumhari na kabhi thi aur na kabhi ho gi, (then she repeated the same words of her previous birth) kisi aur jahaan mein shayad yahi likha tha

She walked off meanwhile her words triggered him. He held his head. Meanwhile Nagakanti had a talk with Vasuki in loneliness, he was applying medicine on her wound.

N: baba, main ne he ye shart rakhi thi, hum dono ek doosre ke hain ab, aur mera aur us ka dono ka khoon baha hai baba, us ne bhi naagmani se munh morra aur main bhi us ki ho gayi

V: Nagakanti khush hai?

She nodded.

V: bas toh phir main bhi khush hoon, Bholenath ne kuchh soch samajh kar he tum dono ka milan karaya ho ga

N:woh toh hai, ye bandhan aaj ka bandhan nahi, purana bandhan hai. Pichhle janam se jaante hain hum ek doosre ko baba. Us wakt jaise Nageshwari Aakesh ki hui thi, is wakt bhi Nagakanti Adarsh ki hui hai, us samay bhi main ne aadi naag ko nahi chuna tha, is baar bhi nahi chuna. Pichhle janam mein us ne Aakesh ki jaan li thi, main ne bhi Aakesh ke liye apni jaan di thi baba. Is janam mein bhi woh phir ye sab dohraye ga, par ab is se pehle aisa kuchh ho, main us aadi naag ko he khatam kar doon gi, main sab se ziada zehreeli naagin hoon, woh apni jaan se haath dho baithay ga, is baar main apnay pyaar ko nahi khoun gi baba.

Vasuki caressed her head. Hashwrindan eavesdropped on their conversation and was shocked to know about previous birth connection, blurry flashbacks now began to run in his head too, he held his head. He stumbled as he recalled everything slowly and gradually and got angry.

H: hum pichhle janam mein toh ek doosre se bohat pyaar kartay thay na Nagakanti? Uss Aakesh ne tumhe mujh se chheena tha. Is baar bhi main ne bohat pyaar kiya tum se magar ek baar phir us ne tumhe mujh se chheen liya. Is baar itehaas dohraya jaaye ga. Is baar alag tareeka apnaun ga usay maarne ka. Naagmani pe nazar daali thi na us ne? Naagmani ke zeher se he maaroon ga usay, tayaar ho ja Aakesh urf Adarsh, tera ant ek baar phir nishchint hai.

He sighed angrily.

In Eagle cave:

Garuda was applying medicine on Adarsh's wound.

A: woh naagmani se main ne apna munh morr liya baba, jang jeet'ta toh naagmani paata woh bhi apne liye nahi aap ke liye, lekin ye haar bohat khubsurat hai baba, mujhe Nagakanti mil gayi. Theek pichhle janam ki tarah. Tann laray toh tann muk jaaye, rooh jurray toh jurri reh jaaye.

G: mera beta khush hai?

Adarsh nodded.

G: bas phir main bhi khush hoon

In Serpent Cave

Nagakanti prepared a fruit juice for Hashwrindan and mixed her poison in it. She went and gave it to him with a smile. He already knew about her plan to kill him and so he pretended to drink it but as she left, he spat all of it out.

H: moorkh aadi naagin, jab tumhe sab yaad aa gaya hai toh mujhe bhi yaad aa chuka hai, aaj agar jaan se haath koi dho baithay ga toh woh ho ga Adarsh, ek baar phir...

Later that night

Next morning, Adarsh and Nagakanti stood near the well with the rest of Adarsh’s clan stood surrounding them, Garuda came forward and they put their hands together, he took water from the well and passed the water through their joined hands.

G: rajkumar aur Aadi naagin chaand ke banday, ek baar phir aisa ho raha hai ke ek cheel aur naagin ka milan ho raha hai

The rest of the cheel hit their sword’s pointed tip on the mud in happiness.

(And like this, their pair once again became official)

Later at night, Nagakanti stood lost watching the flames from the fire on the wood. Adarsh came from behind and watched her, suddenly he hugged her from behind and nuzzled in her neck.

N: uhm, yaad rakho Adarsh ke main ab bhi khaane ki cheez nahi hoon, jo aatay he toot paro mujh par, moorkh rajkumar

She said totally irritated. He moved away and chuckled.

AA: toh phir kya hai?

N: humesha humesha ke liye paas rakhne ki cheez hoon main

She said turning her face to him and then she fully turned to him placing her hands on his chest.

AA: tann larray toh tann muk jaaye

He asked in his husky voice.

N: rooh jurray toh jurri reh jaaye

He cupped her cheek and she tilted her face.

AA: tu.. meri jeet, Aakesh ki jeet

N: toh baaki dunia chhor do mere liye? (he looked on and then looked here and there, she grabbed his face and turned it towards her) Kya moorkh cheel? Sirf larr sakay tum?

She mocked him.

AA: jo larr sakay, wohi prem kar sakay. Prem ke liye larr sakay, prem ke liye marr sakay.

They had an eye lock and suddenly they heard thunder and looked up in the sky. The noise was very continuous.

N: kya honay wala hai aaj? Jo ye aasmaan deewana ho raha hai?

She asked still looking at the sky.

AA: sh sh sh, qudrat ko aisa mat bol, ye hoye kiun ke aaj tu humesha humesha ke liye meri hoyi, (he said and pulled her close, she looked at him lovingly as he gazed at the sky) aisa aasmaan mein sailaab hazaar baras mein ek, Aadi naagin aur rajkumar, hazaar baras mein ek

N: bilkul theek, kiun ke uss Hashwrindan ko toh maar diya maine, isliye aaj jo ye aasman mein sailaab aa raha hai woh isliye he aa raha hai ke Nagakanti ek baar phir Adarsh ki ho gayi

They gazed at each other lovingly, she cupped his face caressing him, their faces drew closer and they closed their eyes feeling the moment.

Later, Garuda sat by the fire and got shocked reading something, it was:

“Chaand se niklegi talwaar, chaandni ek baar phir hogi aarpaar.”

(Means that a storm is about to come)

Tears rolled down his cheeks.

Adarsh forwarded his hand towards Nagakanti who was standing a little far from him, she held his hand and walked closer to him, their faces drew closer and they closed their eyes, he cupped her face and she placed her hands on his arms.

AA: tera saath kaisa jadui hai, ke sachaai bhi ek khubsurat swapan jaisi lagti hai

N: ye swapan nahi hakeekat hai, aadi naagin aur rajkumar ko ab koi alag nahi kar sakta

Flashback:

Nagakanti came back to check on Hashwrindan, he was showing signs of death but was of course pretending. He had collected a bow and some arrows which were now poisoned by naagmani. He even escaped his funeral unknown to his clan.

She placed her hand on his heart.
He laughed at her statement and made her place her hand on his heart inside his robe. She came closer to him, placed her hand over his chest and as she felt his heartbeat, she hugged him. He hugged her back. She closed her eyes in the hug. Suddenly, an arrow stabbed Adarsh from behind, he screamed and she moved away in a shock, it was none other than Hashwrindan who stabbed him, Adarsh fell on the floor, his body began to turn blue as he fell unconscious.
