Akshara questions kept coming back in his head...he got up and stood near the window
 
Abhimanyu : it's so easy for u to question...infact it's easy for anyone to question but only I know how I was without u Akshara..u were my best friend since childhood...we never did anything without telling eachother but u took so many decisions without even telling all of a sudden  ... then U stopped speaking and had no contact  with not only me but everyone and after so Many years u come back and think everything can be back to normal... but it can't as things have changed Akshara...u r the one who chose this path few years ago And maybe it's best if it stays like this

The next day Akshara  was sitting at Neil's cafe as Vidyut had called her along with Arohi  and Juhi.
 
She was busy in her thoughts when Neil came and gave her cold coffee while sitting down next to her
 
Akshara : thanks she said taking a sip
 
Neil: Akshara  stop stressing yourself on how to pacify bhai.. we all will think of something together
 
Akshara : how can I not stress neil he isn't melting at all in fact whatever I'm doing goes wrong.
 
Vidyut: Abhimanyu birla is a tough nut to crack but as far as I know Akshara  goenka doesn't give up easily
 
Akshara  and neil turned to see Vidyut with the girls
 
Akshara . I'm trying not to she said...neil and Akshara  got up and hugged them.
 
Akshara :: no case today ?
 
Vidyut: nope not working   thought this is a chance where we can meet and think of a plan.
 
All sat down while neil shouted for more coffee to be bought
 
Arohi : how about we lock them in a room that way Akshara  can pacify Abhimanyu and  he will have to forgive her since they would be in a room Together and we won't open it until Abhimanyu agrees
 
Juhi: that would have worked for someone else but Abhimanyu is strong enough and works out all the time so it would be easy for him to break the door
 
Neil;: how about we say Akshara  is planning to go back to London
 
Vidyut: don't think that will work as he is angry at her for leaving in the first place.
 
Akshara : my brain is not working
 
Vidyut: wait he said getting an idea
 
Neil: Kya wait
 
Vidyut: Abhi's birthday is coming.
 
Arohi : Oh yes that can be a way for Neil
To forgive u
 
Akshara : please explain how
 
Vidyut: plan his surprise birthday party...and give him a gift which is close to both of u or that has both of your memories
 
Neil: not a bad idea that would probably
Make him forgive u
 
Akshara : I hope this works
 
Juhi : no harm in trying

 later  on

Akshara  went back to birla mansion and got manjari and mahima to plan Abhimanyu birthday with her and they agreed as even they wanted Akshara  and Abhimanyu to be best friends like before hoping  Akshara  plan works
 
Akshara  didn't disturb Abhimanyu while he was surprised at first thinking she will probably try new tricks to make him forgive her but she didn't...he was curious as he knew Akshara  was not the one to sit quietly at certain time but thanks to his cases he didn't get to think about it much and got occupied in reading the files.
 
Finally the day arrived it was Abhimanyu birthday but nobody wished him....on top of that he went to a different city to see a patient since two days and was returning back on his birthday unaware of the surprise planned for him at home
 
Meanwhile at the birla mansion Akshara  made sure the decoration was in place while the gang made sure  food and cake was ready and on it's way ..neil was checking the music system while the birla family went to get ready..soon the goenkas   came along with Vidyut and Juhi family.
 
An hour later
Abhimanyu came back home to see the lights off
 
Abhimanyu: it's only 7pm y are the lights off at this time
 
He walked in and turned on the lights when;
 
"SURPRISE" He heard everyone shout and looked ahead to see his family along with the goenka family and all his friends.
 
Abhimanyu:all of you here? He asked confusingly not noticing the decoration and the big banner which had 'happy birthday' written.
 
Neil: bhai it's your bday please don't say u forgot he said Pointing at the banner which Abhimanyu just noticed
 
Manjari: dekha sirat I told u he would forget... sirat laughed a bit shaking her head
 
Akshara : of course he will forget aunty after all he is a year older now. Abhimanyu just rolled his eyes at her.
 
Vidyut: happy birthday bro he said moving forward to hug him followed by the others while Abhimanyu said thanks to all of them with a small fake smile
 
Akshara  walked to him last
 
Akshara : happy bday bestie She said moving to hug him and felt abhimanyu stiffen while he didn't hug her back but when she moved her face backs she saw his angry face
 
Akshara : I'll give u your gift later she said breaking the hug ignoring the look he was giving her.
 
The cake was Bought.
 
Manjari gave him the knife and told him to go ahead
 
Mahima: come on abhi make a wish and blow the candle
 
Abhimanyu looked at mahima and smiled slightly
 
All sang happy birthday while Abhimanyu blew the candle and cut the cake...however all knew he didn't make any wish...he started to feed the cake to his family while they feeded him back
 
Ranveer : here u go doctor  this is your gift
 
Abhimanyu: thanks chachu he said talking the gift
 
Vidyut: and this is from me and Juhi he said while Juhi gave Abhimanyu the gift and he gave her a side hug
 
Neil: bhai me and Arohi  r giving u gifts separately
 
Arohi : haan because this stupid was not letting me chose my gift properly so we both decided to gift u something individually
 
Abhimanyu: thanks guys
 
Anand:  u friends can give your gifts to Abhimanyu after for now let's enjoy the party
 
Neil : let's start the music...

Akshara  went near Abhimanyu and tapped on his shoulder ...Abhimanyu turned to look at her while Akshara  held her ears but Abhimanyu moved away
 
The song changed to Galla goodiyaan  from dil dhadakne  do
 
Neil moved near Abhimanyu and danced around him

Ranveer came near Akshara  and took her near Abhimanyu and stood in the middle next to them with his hands around their shoulder

Everyone except abhimanyu danced  on the same step together (just imagine how they all did the same dance move in the movie for this line)

Vidyut and neil went and got Abhimanyu who denied first but due to everyone gesturing he joined them and did few steps lightly ..while Akshara  smiled seen him dance

The next song that played was  abhi toh party shuru hui hai from khoobsurat  the elders let the kids dance while The gang didn't let Abhimanyu go and he had no option but to stand there and clap while all danced around him .... but whenever Akshara  danced around him she kept holding her ears but Abhimanyu looked away every time
 
The elders went out in the garden to have their dinner while they knew the kids will be busy partying and they fill themselves up with the drinks and snacks such as mini pizza, cheese and chilli bites, garlic bread, pasta salad, crisp, spicy wedges , mocktail, cocktail
 
Everyone left after 2 hours while the gang wished Akshara  good luck
 
Later on at night akshara  knocked and then entered into Abhimanyu room to give him his birthday gift
 
Abhimanyu: I didn't tell you to come in he said closing the case file that he was reading
 
Akshara : doesn't matter as u was going to say it right... anyway here is your gift she said handing it him

Abhimanyu looked at the gift then at akshara 

Abhimanyu: I don't want it.... now please leave from here I'm busy

Akshara : oh come on abhi  at least open it. After All only I know how long it took me to decide on what to gift u...like literally my brain was on working mode since so long.... after a lot of thinking I came up with this unique idea and planned this

Abhimanyu: of course u r an expert in getting ideas and planning things right he said sarcastically. Akshara  smile dropped but she ignored it
 
Akshara : please Abhimanyu at least open it and see it for once.
 
Abhimanyu: I said no now leave
 
Akshara : until u don't open this gift I won't go
 
Abhimanyu: I said no now leave
 
Akshara : please she said ignoring him
 
Abhimanyu shook his head and took the gift and unwrapped it to see a collage of him and akshara  where each pics were taken during different phase of their life
 
Akshara : like it? she asked praying that the gift would have made him melt toward her
 
Abhimanyu laughed with sarcasm and threw the collage on the bed and then turned to look at her seriously
 
Abhimanyu: u think by doing all this everything will be ok ... thing will be back to normal.
 
Akshara : yes as I know where I went wrong Abhimanyu and i actually said sorry na
 
Abhimanyu: u think by saying sorry everything would be ok
 
Akshara : no but u could at least try and understand my point right?
 
Abhimanyu: oh... so let me also say that u can try and understand my point too... right? he said getting annoyed now
 
Akshara : u r actually not getting what I'm trying to say
 
Abhimanyu: I am exactly getting what u r saying
 
Akshara : no u r not... she closed her eyes to calm herself ... look Abhimanyu whatever happened few years ago has happened I know u were not happy with whatever decision I took... but see i did it for us only.
 
Abhimanyu: really ? u did it for us? .... U never cared for any of us akshara  u just thought about yourself... we all told u we r there for u but no u just did what u felt like... u never ever thought how your decision would have an impact on others... even though u went there we waited thinking u will call after some time but no u didn't even do that... u just stopped...Now after 5 years u say sorry and think by saying sorry things will be back to normal but no it won't akshara . U always want to be the one to take a decision and explain others to follow it. U r a selfish person akshara  a selfish person who only thinks about yourself he said in a heat of a moment... although he meant half of the things while the other things were said in anger

Akshara looked at abhimanyu hurt with what he said

Akshara : I'm not selfish was all she said
While having tears in her eyes and left his room room

Abhimanyu realised what he said but didn't move from his place as he watched her leave his room 

 
Akshara  reached to her room and closed the door sliding against it
 
Akshara : I'm not selfish Abhi I'm not she said to herself.. she knew he didn't mean half of the things but it stil hurt her like hell and right now she was so hurt to think straight...she tried to slow down her sobs but wasn't able to
 
Mahima was going to the kitchen to fill up some water and went past Akshara  room but she stopped when she heard Akshara  crying
 
Mahima: is Akshara  crying she thought to herself...she moved near the door and opened the door slightly to see Akshara  talking on the phone
 
Akshara  made a call to Ranveer to come and pick her up right now but he convinced her to stay there till morning and he will come and pick her up
 
Akshara : I will stay away from u abhi...how can u blame me like this.. from now on I won't pacify u... I was determined to make u forgive me but if u think I was selfish enough to take all those decision then fine think like that
 
Mahima was thoughtful...she was thinking what must have happened between abhimanyu right now that she decided to go back home also Akshara  words kept ringing in her ear
 
Mahima: whatever it is I need to find out the whole thing. The reason as to y Akshara  and her friends were not in contact to each other
 
In the morning Akshara  came down with her small suit case and bag...manjari was serving food to Harshvardhan and anand while mahima was in deep thoughts thinking about last night
 
Manjari: Akshara  beta what is this she asked seen the small suit case with Akshara  
 
Mahima came out of her thoughts and looked to see Akshara  down with her bag
 
Abhimanyu who was coming down the stairs heard manjari speak and then saw Akshara  walking towards the dining table and his eyes fell on the suit case next to her
 
Akshara : I'm going back home
 
Precrap: mahima: please tell me what is actually happening between abhi and Akshara .
 
Neil: nothing taiji Abhimanyu was just upset that Akshara  left without saying anything and didn't contact anyone after that
 
Arohi  : and we even told u this before right
 
Mimi: but there seems more to it
 
Ranveer: there is
 
Manjari: and what is that
 
Ranveer: Akshara  loves Abhimanyu
 
Vidyut Juhi neil and Arohi  looked shockingly at Ranveer since he told mahima and  mimi while mahima, manjari and mimi looked at each other
