Spying
         September 26th, Saturday

I was watching them as they slept, especially the human girl. She looked so peaceful, and happy. She would be even happier when she was with me. I watched her with longing. Sure, I was jealous of Sonic, but wasn't Everybody? I saw the girl sleeping on Sonic's bed, and Sonic was sleeping on the couch. They had an argument about who would sleep where, and Sonic won. Ever since they had gone to the prom yesterday, I was spying on them. I had heard the song Sonic and his band sang for her. Talk about bad singing. I could do Way better than that. I heard the girl yawn, and I hid while watching her through the window. She rubbed her eyes, and she got up, heading towards the kitchen. Soon, the delicious smell of chocolate chip pancakes filled the air. Sonic was still asleep. This was my chance.
