So when I'm having writer's block when working on this story I usually write fr my second story. The following are excerpts from the story for anyone interested.

Ariṣe

Chaos peered from within Order's vastness, finding beauty and an equal. They tore themselves apart to gaze upon them more fully, creating the universe.
- Fibikemi Itanakorin III, Scribe of Ile-Lori, Balance of the Cosmos.

The Moon's Blessing, was Ari's pride and joy. The long, sleek ship was made of silver baobab and was pulled through the sea by pale blue sails and a crew of, in Ari's opinion, the best crew in Odò-Àwọ̀n-Iṣura*. Certainly they were the most colorful. The sails expanded as the shallow double-decked boat disembarked from shore, cutting quickly through the waves. Ari leaned over the deck of her ship and skimmed her fingers over the surface of the wide cerulean sea, grinning as the water churned around her fingers. She looked up, watching Zik unfurl the secondary sail, as the ship rushed even faster away from the coast. The deck was a scramble of crew, busying themselves with the myriad of tasks necessary to run the ship.

The ship was busier than usual, because they had extra guests: A delegation of Moon Priests and their attendants. The priests ultimate delegation was Comraich Kyst**, but Ari would only be taking them part of the way there. It was quite the detour from Ari's usual route, but with the amount of silver coin they'd paid the priests could get a trip round the globe.

Kaeden

The fourth Prince and later King of the Northern Cerisi Isles was a strange sort, there are almost no records of him having relations with the fairer sex, and he's relationship with his Queen Hersa was believed to be largely sexless, with the few exceptions needed to create his heir.

His most constant and close companion appeared to be Duke Edan of Brini. The two where known to go on long hunting trips alone together, visit bath houses and upon the Queen's death they moved to Goldquest castle to live out the rest of their days together. They were reportedly very good friends.
-Luc de Gavon, A History of the Nobility of the Continent of Elva.

The massive emerald green serpent slithered out from between the mists, swimming through the air as if it was just like the water below, no wings in sight. It approached Kaeden's flag ship slowly, massive golden eye eyeing the ship curiously. Kaeden stood in the crows nest, eye level with the beast as it came closer, great axe and shield gripped tightly in case of the worst. His crew was bellow deck, silent and still as possible as he confronted the creature. He'd told them to drop their weapons to try and avoid this turning into a fight.

If push came to shove Kaeden could handle himself till they got their weapons ready.

Probably.

Soon the beast was inches from his face, head turned so it could peer at him with one wide eye. It's mouth did not move, but he heard it speak in his head.

"I am here to pay respects to my kin." The voice was like wind blowing sand to scrape against stone and in an accent Kaeden couldn't place. "It is not often I meet other skyborne."

Kaeden's shoulders dropped as he untensed. As he suspected and hope, this serpent was non-hostile. "I am Kaeden of Lormir, Crown Prince of the Southern Cerisi Isle and duke of Grale." Kaeden introduced himself in the stuffy and formal way he'd been taught. "Welcome. Your presence is appreciated"

The serpent laughed in his head in return, golden eye squinting in what appears to be amusement. "By you maybe, but not by your crew. Even now they brandish bows against me in spite of your orders. Though I do not blame them, not every godling can be blessed and cursed with a human form." The creatures voice was mow twinged with mirth as it continued to speak. "As for my name. I haven't had a human one in quite some time, but among my people I am know as TheyWhoRacetheWind and I do not hail from anywhere."

"They don't understand. They see scales and they are full of fear. I've seen to much to be properly afraid."

Flynn

Love is a wonderful ever-lasting thing but sex is fun for the moment.
-The great philosopher and Daughter of Love, Emie of Ameros, 1022 BA.

Sailor's always provided great entertainment when he occasionally traveled with them. Sure they told stories, sang, danced, and no one can out drink a sailor, but, as far as Flynn was concerned, the sex was definitely the main attraction.

Flynn pulled the sailor down by his collar and kissed him. Well, it was less a kiss and more of an excuse to smash their mouths together, teeth clashing, tongues wrestling in a clumsy, hurried frenzy. A meeting of two lonely, frustrated people who had no-one else for the night.

They were in the depths of a ship, ignoring the sound of raucous festivities and the thump of dancing feet against the deck above their heads. The sailor gripped his hips and hoisted him up, pressing his back against the rough wooden wall. There's a nail digging into his back and a bunch of splinters, but the stranger's mouth was on his neck, nibbling, sucking and licking up from his collar bone to under his jaw, leaving a trail of what were probably bruises, so he didn't even notice.
