hello beautiful Wattpadders!

i've been on this website for about six years now, and i've seen plenty of review books. i decided i wanted to try one of my own!

my reviews will be the following:

★ objective.

i've seen many subjective reviewers and honestly, their feedback is pointless. i'll be taking into consideration that each book has its own intended audience, and that each person has an individual and unique writing style.

★ honest.

there's no point in sugarcoating flaws that hinder the quality of your work. as a writer, i appreciate when people offer honest advice on how to improve my writing, and i'm offering to do the same for you.

★ helpful.

i'll be putting a lot of thought into your reviews and they will be based on a rubric that i'll provide in the chapter following this one. i'll be providing suggestions on how to improve the quality of your book, as well as a critique-style review. 

qualifications (skip if you want):

you may be wondering what makes me think that i can truly judge your work. the answer is: i can't. my goal is to try to help you, not tear you down. i've seen too much of that, and it's destructive to both a writer's confidence and passion. that being said, here are a few reasons you should consider my review service:

★ i'm a university student minoring in Creative Writing, so needless to say, writing is a big part of my life, and i know talent when i see it.

★ i was the editor of a book that's now been published and is being sold on Amazon.

★ i've completed three books and have two ongoing, with plans to write many more. they're all a variety of genres. one is being considered for publication!

(IMPORTANT):

★ i don't read stories with explicit sex scenes/mature concepts

★ i have the right to deny your request if i'd like. nothing personal.

★ be kind. you've been warned that these reviews will be honest. that being said, if you really don't like my review, i'll gladly take it down. my goal isn't to hurt or discourage people.

★ be patient. i will need time to read and review your books.

★ password: your favorite song. just so I know you've read these rules. :)

★ i'll be reading a minimum of five chapters of your story, counting the prologue. if i'm hooked, i'll read on + offer my support through voting.
