"We really sold our souls to the devil here, aren't we?" Cassian looks at Rhysand.

Rhys is leaning on the doorframe watching Feyre search for her paints. "The most beautiful devil though," he responds still looking at her. "I can hear you, you know?" She says but not looking at them, still searching for her paints.

Feyre decided she wants portraits of them, first up are Cassian and Azriel. The Shadowsinger is silently standing next to the window following his High Lady with his eyes as she elegantly moved through the room.

"I have everything, we can begin," she says before turning to Rhys. "You, out." He looks at her offended that his mate is throwing him out. "Fine." He knows better than putting up a fight with her he can't win. His brothers chuckle. They see how smitten their brother is.

"You two?" she turns around pointing brush in their direction, both of them straightening and stopping the chuckles. "Sit on the couch." Both of them sit on the couch, they looked like two babes waiting for their mother to scold them.

"Choose the way you want to sit and then don't move from that position," Feyre said not even looking at them, preparing the canvas. They look at each other and lean back on the couch. Cassian's hand sprawls on the headrest behind Azriel's head and Azriel crosses his arms on his chest, his shadows swirling around them.

Their legs are wide spread and Feyre chuckles. "So massive," she referred to their enormous figures, but Cas only gave her a dirty look and devilish smirk. "Prick," she curses him and pulls out her paintbrush. She looks at them and then goes in their direction.

She takes a band holding Cas' hair in place and hair starts falling down on his shoulders and face. She ruffels his hair in a way she tought it looked good. Cas was scanning her face while she silently focused on his hair, then Azriel's. Azriel winced when she tried to go through his hair since it was too tangled.

"Do you ever brush your hair, Az?" She asked, Azriel lightly tilting his head to look up at her. "Nah," was his only response and Feyre rolls her eyes, but then chuckles. "Messy bat," her comment sent Cassian cracking up on the couch. Azriel glared at him, but that just made Cassian laugh more.

"Now please, don't move too much." She said moving back to canvas, then she turned her head over her shoulder and looked at Cas. "And no talking." His eyes widened. "Why are you looking at me only?" Feyre raised her eyebrows in a way that asked 'Do you hear Az talking?'. Cas immediately shut up.

She sits on a stool and starts dragging brush over the canvas. She got lost in her thoughts as she was drawing her two friends. She realized how much their friendship saved her since she came to Night Court. Cassian's childish, but caring side, and Azriel's quiet, but understanding side made her feel at home.

A single tear slipped from her eye as she continued to paint. But her Bat boys noticed something was wrong. "Feyre? Are you okay?" Cassian's back straightened and his legs tightened ready to stand up.

"Yeah, everything's fine," she responds vaguely, not satisfying two Illirian males across the room. Cassian stands up and Azriel leans forward. "Don't lie to us," Cassian's voice is sharp, but still soft. Feyre looks up at him, tears forming in her eyes. "I just realized how much your friendship helped me, saved me actually."

Cassian stops in his tracks, surprised by her admission. "You were there for me from the first moment we've met. You didn't know me or if you could trust me, yet you still treated me nicely, like family." She looks up at Cassian who was looking at her gently.

"You, Cas, always made me laugh even in my worst moments. Our banter kept fueling me, bringing back life to me. You trained me, made me stronger, so no one ever could hurt me again." Cassian's eyes glistened with tears. He isn't scared of showing his love for his High Lady. He loved her like a sister, and he'll always protect her as such.

Feyre turns to Azriel whose eyes are already on her. "Az, you made me feel seen, understood without saying anything. Your shadows brought me peace I desperately needed. It breaks my heart sometimes that you don't see how beautiful you are, they are." Azriel's cheeks flush with color, Az not used to being called beautiful in such intimate and loving way.

Of course, women called him handsome and good looking, but all of them deep down feared him, his shadows. Feyre hasn't only seen them, she loved them, she found comfort in them, in his presence. For the first time in 5 centuries he let himself feel and actually show the emotions.

He wasn't scared of being vulnerable with Feyre, for she has seen him for who he is, and still loved him despite it all. Azriel silently stands up and heads toward Feyre. She stands up and without further saying anything, she embraces her friend. They stayed like that for a moment, then they broke apart, letting Cassian hug Feyre too.

"You brought us love we never knew we could get or even need for that matter. You've seen all our ugly pasts and edges, yet you love us despite it all. You are our sister, our friend, and our High Lady. We'll always be by your side, protecting and serving, but being your friends first." Cassian spoke first earning a tearful smile from Feyre.

"We're grateful Couldron saw it fit to make you Rhys' mate. It's like it knew he wasn't the only one that would need your friendship, your love." Azriel spoke next and Feyre hugged them both again.

"My Bat Boys, I love you so much." They both chuckled at her nickname for them. "Now, that's enough sappy moments for awhile. Sit." She ordered and they both listened, sitting on a couch with huge grins.

There was an unsaid feeling flowing between them all. They might not have a mate bond like Rhys and Feyre have, but in this moment there was their own magical bond forming and flowing all around the room. Feyre looked at her two friends, and she thanked the Couldron for bringing them into her life.
