Neil crossed the line, saw the bloodied body and then just sank on his knees and cried with his head in his hands.

DD sauntered inside the bungalow compound. He walked through the gates and saw no security. He then sat for sometime on the security guards chair. DD then thought he will call Neil and inform him that he's outside. He did not want to walk in and disturb Neil and avni!

DD dialed Neil's number and it went unanswered. DD tried again. And then he cut the phone. He blushed. Possibly Neil sir we really busy! After all he was for the first time mentally free in days and was with the love of his life !

DD saw a half drunk mug of tea kept there. Possibly the last watchman's. It made DD want tea for himself! He thought he will just go inside till the kitchen and ask the servant to make tea for him! And so DD went inside the house. He was surprised to see kitchen was empty! The young servant who cooked for them was not there.

DD cursed the lazy servant and thought of leaving. When he thought he heard a sob! He became concerned and walked and then ran in the direction of the sobs. And then DD saw an image that would be imprinted in his mind for days to come!

Flowers were crushed on the entrance to the living room. Beyond those Neil was sitting beside the sofa on the floor, surrounded by blood. He was in shock and crying. And then DD saw what looked like a twisted hand poking out from behind the sofa. DD almost lost his senses as well as he ran towards Neil. He saw the bloodied and mutilated body behind the sofa and then started shaking Neil vigorously holding both his shoulders.

DD -"sir. Sir. Neil sir! Sir please wake up!"

Neil realised then that DD was there. He looked at DD as if he recognized him.

DD -"sir ye kya ho Gaya!"( What happened)

Neil -"Avni. DD..DD avni "

DD looked at the body. It was the servant with half his clothes off and brutally cut up. And then DD saw something that gave him the chills. In blood something was written on the wall.

It read -"Avni ko dhoondhne ki koshish ki to isse bura haal kar Denge"( If you try look for avni we will do worse than this to her)

DD Sat down by Neil's side. He held Neil's shoulders.

DD -"sir. Bhabhi ko kuch nahi hoga "( Nothing will Happen to avni)

Neil started shaking -"Jisne iss servant ko aise maara Hai DD. Wo avni Ka kya hashr karega!"( The one who's killed a servant like this. What will he do to avni DD)

DD -"sir please get a hold of yourself. Mostly he has not harmed her till now. We will need to know who they are and why they took her. And how? Sir don't you find it weird that this servant has his clothes off in a weird way. As if he was taking it off himself? Look his other hand is still trapped in taking his pants off! Something is very wrong sir.  "

Neil continued looking disoriented and aggrieved.

Neil -"its all my fault DD. I took her for granted. I couldn't give her my time or care. And now. She might be hurt as brutally as this guy "

DD -"Neil sir. I know you've had a shock sir. But please understand. Here, drink water"

As neil drank water he felt more in his element. The shock was wearing off.

Neil spoke. This time he spoke like an officer and not like a husband  -"thanks DD..thanks... I'll need your help in getting her safely "

Neil took a breathe and closed his eyes as he thought. When he opened his eyes, they were hard.

Neil -"DD ....Investigate all cctv cameras around the house. There is one at entrance and I'll see if any other there. Also investigate this servant. I want to know why he in particular was killed..you're right. Why were his clothes almost off! Also the security guard before you reported being sick after drinking tea given by this servant. I see more tea cups here. Have all cups tested for any chemicals. Also there are two cups here. Avni was clearly  meeting somebody she knew. Pata Karo who all she knew and whom did she have tea with  " (enquire who all she knew).

DD stood up and saluted Neil -"ok sir. I'll get on it right away "

Neil -"I'll strategize on who had motives to hurt or kidnap my wife till the time you come with answers...and DD"

DD -"yes sir?"

Neil was  looking at DD with vulnerable eyes this time. A desperate voice came out of his throat -"we don't have time DD..I need to save her "
