Neil's bosses were worried about the operation and their officers now. Help had arrived at the location. Also someone with a bright mind had realised this was the work of a mole in the police station and all calls made through personal and official phones of police officials were being traced. In no time, they traced the call back to a person who was present in the police station and who had made a call that was received by one of Raghu's known henchmen. The person was kept under guard in the very station where he used to work and had agreed to depose against Raghu in the case to save his own skin.

Neil's boss checked all the officers who were there in the initial team. All were accounted for except for Neil and one more fellow officer. They could not enter the location as still hostiles were holed up in the mill and were shooting at the police from the inside. It seemed Raghu's fan following was insane! His henchmen were holding the fort against the police even while they knew Raghu had escaped!

Suddenly the missing officer came out running from one side of the mill and his team provided cover fire so that he can escape the fire of the goons who were still inside the mill.

The officer came to Neil's boss and looked in very bad condition. He was badly bleeding and it seemed he had been tortured..

Officer - "Sir. The criminals had caught me and were torturing me in the basement. Neil sir rescued me. But sir.. but sir after freeing me both of us were running out. But Neil was caught in a cross-fire..He was gone sir!"

Everyone went quiet at this. And then after seconds of silence , there was a lot of action all around. Everyone was gearing up to avenge Neil and to find out what was left of him..There was not one officer there who did not have blood in his or her eyes.

Suddenly there was an explosion in the same direction from which the officer had come and there was a ball of fire that engulfed half of the mill. Everyone shielded their eyes and retreated. The firing had stopped from inside and then one person walked out. Officer Neil Khanna. He was covered in blood.

Neil had entered the basement in the dark after the lights went out. He was guided by the sounds of the screams of his team mate who was presumably being tortured. And once his eyes got adjusted to the dark, he saw what was being done to his team mate, his blood had boiled. There were four men torturing his colleague. If Neil shot , he could have taken down two of them at best before the rest scattered. So he crept from behind in the dark and twisted and broke the neck of one goon who was standing back at a distance, three more to go..

He then slid and made one of the goons fall down. As the other two realised something was happening, he shot both of them in quick succession. And then he shot the remaining guy. Neil was like a machine till now. Then he quickly untied his colleague and asked him to run. As both of them were running out, a spray of bullets came from the side. Apparently the guys had someone else too with them. Neil urged his friend to continue the escape and stayed back to track and kill the guy.

It was a game of cat and mouse after that and while following that guy Neil stumbled upon a reserve of fuel and some weapons kept in the basement. He could hear firing by goons from the floor above possibly. He knew all his teammates were out safe now. And the goons firing meant that more police had come outside for help. Neil then took a decision. That he will destroy this building and every criminal in it.

Neil shot that guy easily and then went back to the stairs that led to the basement. He took a grenade from the stash of weapons and then climbed up the stairs. He then threw the live grenade on the stash of fuel and weapons and ran towards the way out as fast as he could. He heard the explosion behind him, first a smaller explosion and then a series of explosion. He realised that the biggest one is yet to come as fuel drum had not ignited yet. While rushing out Neil ran into another criminal who was running out after hearing the initial explosions. The criminal had a knife and even in escape he swiped it at Neil to injure him. Neil however was on another plane of reflexes and action tonight. He dodged the knife and then twisted criminal's hand so that he is self-harmed with his knife. The criminals jugular vein cut open and blood was sprayed everywhere including at Neil. Neil then wrestled the knife from the criminal for further use and was completely covered in blood as the criminal bled out on him.

He then ran out towards safety and to his team..

As Neil walked out covered in blood, someone ran forward and hugged him. It was DD actually who was extremely emotional.

Neil said to his boss and to the officers there in a deep and calm, yet mechanical voice - "DD, sir.. It is ok.. All the criminals in this building are dead. We can call the fire department and police personnel can go in once fire is controlled. I hope my team is ok?"

Boss looked at him with surprise yet admiration - "Neil.. Are you ok? You are covered with.."

Neil - "It is not my blood sir..". And then he went quiet.

Boss looked at Neil and shook his head - "Neil, even though the operation failed to catch Raghu. We have destroyed his base of operations and have caught the mole. We will continue looking for Raghu but you must take rest now. You have exhibited courage of top order and I shall note this. If you are not hurt, still get yourself checked up and go home. DD, take him home"

DD nodded and leapt forward and guided Neil towards the first-aid car. Neil however shook his head and said he is alright and just wants to be driven home.

DD made Neil sit on the passenger's seat in his jeep and then himself sat on the driver's seat. He then started driving towards Khanna mansion. At a bend in the road, Neil gestured DD to stop the car. He then looked at DD.

Neil (his eyes looking very tired yet holding up) - "You have to take me somewhere but not to Khanna house. You also need to keep it to yourself"

DD was puzzled but he was extremely loyal to Neil and admired him as his officer. He nodded - "Sir.. jaisa bhi aap bolo. Order me."( Sir whatever you say)

Neil - "Just follow my instructions.."

Meanwhile, Avni had had a very unproductive day. She came to know about the wedding which was to be in 3 days but could do or think of nothing to stop it. She was still thinking when she heard the doorbell. She looked at the wall-clock..It was 1 am!

She opened the door and then stood rooted in her spot. It was Neil.. covered in blood, slightly supported by DD on the door!
