A week later after building Adina, an old man came to the Drones mansion, looking for shelter. Luke and the old man talked about what happened with the enemies' war and that the old man was very impressed by Luke saving a bunch of lives. As Luke gives him food and a tour, he introduced him to Adina who politely greets him. The old man looks interested toward Adina. While Luke isn't looking, the old man whispers to Adina that he would like to reward Luke with a special gift and holds Adina hand, a blue glow goes on Adina. Once the old man used what he did, he goes in full health, and thanks Luke before heading off.

One night during Luke's 19th birthday, Luke and Candace have a spicy moment in the treehouse. A week later, Candace returns from the doctors because she learned that she's pregnant with Luke's child, making have mixed feelings of happiness and fear. She went to Luke's house to tell Luke the news, only to find Scott harassing Adina and immediately came to her defence. But Scott rebuffs this and straight up insults Candace and Adina. Offended, Adina yells "GO AWAY" with her hands out. Suddenly, a blast of ice burst from her hands and Scott's uses Candace as a human shield, causing her and the unborn child to be killed. Horrified by what she done, Adina fell to her knees in despair, but Scott runs off in cowardice.
