It had been a while since adi was still staying at zains place....she smiled at herself as she recalled how zain said this house is theirs and not only his along with how Jay and mahi had teased her telling how much zain useto miss her when she wasnt there making her blush...chuckling to herself she poured herself some cold water into a glass and took few sips .

Aditi walked to the living area and sat down on the couch after her afternoon workout...zain was busy in the other room as he was LIVE  for his new web series.

Aditi decided to turn on the tv then and see some news where first they were showing about sushant

Aditi: I hope he gets justice she said to herself and then did a silent prayer...

she continued to listen to the news when raksha bandhan was been mentioned

Aditi smiled as she knew this year she wont be able to tie any rakhi on her brother as she came back to mumbai....she recalled her last year raksha bandhan with her siblings and smiled

At that time Zain came out of the room smiling as his LIVE was finished when he saw adi smiling  while the tv was on but he knew it wasnt due to that.

Zain turned off the tv and sat next to adi grabbing her attention

Aditi: hey...finished your LIVE?

Zain: haan yaar...but tell me one thing y r u smiling to yourself he said raising his eyebrows

Aditi:just like that she said looking at him and then took a cushion while placing it on her lap

Zain: adiii...bata na

Aditi: arien kuch nahi...I was just thinking  about raksha bandhan and how I wont be able to celebrate it with my siblings... I did want to tie rakhi on Aryaman but I know if I stayed back then me coming back to mumbai and to u would have got delayed even more.

Zain: y dont u do a video call ya phir send a online rakhi and apu can tie it on your behalf on Aryaman

Aditi: hmm I'll probably do something like that

Zain: haan.

Aditi: acha how did your LIVE go

Zain: the way it goes usually he said winking to which aditi laughed as she knew what sorts of questions must have been asked

Aditi: acha chal let me apply some oil on your hair look at how rough it's gone

Zain: abhi nahi adi baad mai

Aditi: baad mai kyun abhi laga le na tu

Zain: arien woh gullu has made food for us and she wont be able to come warna she will be late for shooting so I had said I'll pick it up

Aditi: acha theek hai u go then.

Zain kissed adi on the head and left while she waved at him as he left closing the door.

Aditi thought of the what zain said and thought it's not a bad idea but she also got another idea as she recalled ambreen bhabhi and shuja bhai r coming over on raksha bandhan day...she got hold of her phone and called ambreen

After few rings she heard ambreen answering

Aditi: hey bhabhi I hope u r not busy

Ambreen: arien aditi of course not how r u

Aditi: I'm good aap batao

Ambreen:tell me how would I be with 3 kids she said shaking her head

Aditi: 3? She asked confused

Ambreen: your shuja bhai is the biggest baby she said chuckling making adi join her too

Aditi: I thought there would be another one coming soon

Ambreen:no no not yet where is zain?

Aditi: woh he had gone to gullu  to get food..acha bhabhi I need to ask u something

Ambreen:haan bol na

Aditi: u r still coming on raksha bandhan right

Ambreen:haan kyun ?

Aditi: woh actually its raksha bandhan na and I want to tie rakhi on shuja bhai on that day

Ambreen: awww aditi u know shuja will be so happy knowing that

Aditi: bhabhi dont tell him please I want to keep it a suprise for him and also for zain

Ambreen: but how will u get the rakhi then

Aditi:that is the problem I cant go out and I cant tell abhi too as zain is home these days and if I  online order then he would see it ..so if possible can u bring it I'll give u the money

Ambreen: chup is that even a thing to say I dont want any money in fact I'm glad I can help.
Tum tension mat lo I'll get a rakhi

Aditi: thank u bhabhi..this year my raksha bandhan wont go empty if not Aryaman then I'll tie it on shuja bhai

Ambreen: u r really sweet adi god bless u...acha chalo I got to go your nephew is crying

Aditi: acha bhabhi see u soon bye

Ambeen: bye

Adi ended the call finally happy that her work will be done...she then went online and ordered a rakhi for Aryaman and sent it so that he receives it.

Later on Zain had come back with the food that gullu had made for them while zain didnt get to see gullu as she had left for shooting so ali bhai had given zain the tiffin....aditi had sent gullu a quick thank u for the food telling her how delicious it was

After dinner adiza was in the balcony...adi was sitting on the couch while Zain sat on the floor as adi was applying oil in his hair and giving him a good massage which zain was enjoying with his eyes closed...

Aditi and zain had many special things about each other but one thing they loved was how they didnt feel the need to talk all the time as silence was comfortable in their relation

Aditi: ye lo ho gaya she said after 10 mins

Zain: adi todha aur karo na please it feels good he said placing her hand on his head

Adi smiled how can she say no after the way he spoke...she started massaging his head  again giving him that relaxing feeling.

Aditi: chalo let's sleep now u have more interview to give tomorrow she said softly

Zain nodded and took the bottle of oil from her

Zain: u go and wash your hand i will put this away and close the balcony door

Aditi:ok she said and walked inside

Zain saw aditi walking inside and Took out his phone

"Tickets have been booked"...see u soon he texted

And few secs later he got a message

"Thank u... we love u❤❤❤

Zain: I promise to give u the best gift adi he said to himself and walked inside closing the balcony door

Few days later it was finally raksha bandhan
Shuja bhai and ambreen bhabhi were going to come late as their flight was going to land late so there was still a lot of time for them to come

Zain had told adi that his web series director called  the team for a meeting to promote the series and he had to be there

zain: adi I'm leaving to go

Aditi: take care of yourself and look after yourself.

Zain: will do babu chalo see u soon bye

Aditi: bye she said moving to hug zain as he kissed her on the forehead

As zain closed the door he smiled and walked to the elevator

After cleaning the bedroom adi decided to call
Aryaman to wish him for raksha bandhan but he wasnt answering...she tried for few more times but it still was the same

Aditi: ye phone kyun nahi utha raha?...apu ko call karti hu she said

She then tried apu number too but no answer...she then tried Priyamvada and
Padmini but even their phone was unreachable

Aditi: I guess they must be busy and having fun ...baad mai phone karien ge

She then saw Yusuf mention her on his story...she smiled and wished him back posting on her story

Later on in the afternoon adi was in the balcony on the call to poonam when suddenly the doorbell...she ended the call telling poonam she will call later

As adi opened the door she saw zain standing there

Zain: hey

Adi: heyyy how did your meeting go ...it finished quick

Zain: it surely did.

Aditi: r u planning to stand outside or come in ?

Zain:first close your eyes

Aditi:y?

Zain:close kar na adi

Aditi: acha ruk she said closing her eyes

Zain: acha dont open it until I say so

Aditi: nahi karu gi ab jaldi kar so I can open my eyes.

Zain : haan haan ek min

Zain gestured few people to come in and silently closed the door

Zain: acha ab u can open your eyes

Adi opened her eyes but as she did she went still for a sec...she didnt know what she was seen was true or not...she looked at Zain to see him smiling and then turned back again to see it was not her dream...her siblings were standing there right in front of her.

Aditi: when did u all come here she said as all moved to hug her

Apu: yaar asien kaun welcome kartha hai she said looking at her sister

Priyamvada: our darling aditi aur kaun

Aditi:- arien I didnt mean that I wasnt expecting u to be here she said smiling happily as it was still hard to believe

Aryaman:even we didnt know if we would make it but this was your "good friend" idea he said teasingly

Apu: it was zain bhai who booked tickets for us...we  had arrived last night for raksha bandhan and stayed at abhi bhai place...till Zain bhai came to pick us up

Aditi: so this is y u all wasnt answering

Aryaman: correct...zain bhai told us how u was missing to tie rakhi this year so here we r... all thanks to him

Adi smiled at her siblings and then turned to look at zain mouthing a thank u to him

Aryaman sat down while apu  Priyamvada and adi started to do aarti one by one and tied rakhi on him which apu had bought

While adi was tieing rakhi on Aryaman... apu and Priyamvada moved to Zain

Apu: zain bhai I know in the future u will become our jiju as we know this time she has found the right man...but before all that we want to tie this rakhi on u as u have been like a brother for us ever since u have been with di.

Zain: apu...priya yaar u saying it is enough for me

Priyamvada: zain doesnt want us to tie rakhi on him as he knows his pocket will be empty she said teasingly

Zain: arien there is no such thing ye lo tie it he said forwarding his hand

Once they tied rakh on him zain gave them cash and hugged them while aryaman got up to hug zain

Aryaman: thank u for all the support u have given adi di and us...u truly are a gem

Adi was smiling while watching this..she was getting emotional seen all this but she wasnt going to cry as this was happy occasion and she knew how emotional and loved zain must be feeling at the moment as his expressions said it how surprised he was when apu and priya wanted to tie Rakhi on him and his happiness was priceless when they both tied their rakhi on his wrist.

Aryaman gave adi apu and priya their gifts which they took happily

Adi: u guys rest and then we can eat lunch.

Priyamvada: we have already ate at abhi place u and zain eat while we all will go for a walk

Zain: dont get lost

Apu: if we do u can come and find us...

Zain: bas make sure nobody notices u 3 warna sab ko patha chal jayien ga adi is back

Apu:dw she said adjusting her duppata while aryaman put on his cap

Priyamvada: see u guys soon she said.

Adi smiled knowing her siblings wanted to give her and zain some time.

Adi moved to hug zain

Adi: thank u so so so much zain...this really means a lot... u made it possible for me to celebrate raksha bandhan with my siblings...u didn't have to do this yet u did...this was one of the best suprise

Zain: u r happy na

Adi: more than happy

Zain: then that is all that matters adi...your happiness is everything to me...

Adi: and so is yours  but when did u plan all this she said

Zain: when u told me how u wanted to celebrate raksha bandhan I got the idea then he said tightening the hug

Adi: thank u

Zain: acha now if this thank u thank u is over can we eat I'm Hungry

Adi chuckled and nodded

At the dining table adi suddenly felt like teasing zain

Adi: zain shall I tell u something

Adi:  tumien or mere bhai aryaman me utna bhi farak nai h.. Dono same hi ho mere liye..
(There is not much of a difference between u and my brother aryaman...both r the same for me)

Zain who was eating started choking

Zain said what! He said after drinking some water as he frowned at her

Adi said: yes..

Zain : what yes ?...kya similarities hai hum dono mai?

Adi : seen u I would remember aryaman and that would give me a bhai wali feeling just like how I feel for aryaman

Zain: excuse me

Adi: but ab kya karien if I had tied rakhi on u at that time then u would have become my brother

that was it for zain..

He immediately gets up and went towards Adi who was on a chair and picked her up

Adi: zainnnn what r u doing put me down  she said but zain wasnt going to listen

He then reached to the bedroom  and closed  the door with his leg.

He then  placed adi on the bed whike Adi gulped  hard and felt nervous seen the look on zain face ..

Zain came  towards her "dikhata hu kya farak hai he said getting on top of her

Adi: zain someone will come

Zain: nobody will he said moving the hair from her face which was disturbing his view.

Zain was moving his lip towards adi lips when suddenly the door opened with a bang

Inaya: mumma chachu is on top of chachi

Adiza opened their eyes hearing inaya and zain got of adi instantly seen his niece standing near the door looking at them innocently

Adi stood up straight while zain got up to controlling his balance as he was about to fall of the bed but stood up properly

Zain: inuuu hey sweet when did u come

Inaya: when u was on top of chachi

Adiza looked embarrassed while adi glared at zain the same time

Adi: umm nahi beta there is no such thing chachi and chachu fell on the bed as the floor was slippery

Inaya: oh acha she said believing her

Zain: beta where is everyone else

Inaya: outside chalo

Zain picked her up and walked outside with adi...zain had given spare keys to his brother so that when they come to mumbai they can have the key is he wasnt around

Inaya: mumma chachu and chachi fell on the bed as the floor was slippery

Ambreen and shuja controlled their laugh and just nodded...safi was asleep as shuja bhai had placed him on the couch with pillows on the sides

Adiza then moved to hug shuja bhai and ambreen bhabhi once they cleaned their hands

Shuja: zain this rakhi?

Adi: woh my sister and cousin tied it on him

Ambreen: they came?

Adi: haan thanks to zain

Shuja: where r they now?

Adi: they went for a walk nearby should come soon..shuja.bhai nodded

Adi: u want to eat something or after freshining up

Ambreen: baad mai

As zain was busy playing with inaya shuja bhai was pouring himself some water from the jug and at that time ambreen gave her the rakhi which was in her bag

Adi took it without anyone noticing and walked to the kitchen. After few mins she came out to see shuja bhai zain and ambreene talking while inaya had fallen asleep...but when they saw adi walking with a arti thai they all got surprised

Adi saw how zain and shuja bhai were confused

Zain: adi who is this arthi for ? He asked once she came near

Adi: for shuja bhai

Shuja: me ?

Adi: sit please she said

Shuja bhai  sat down when he noticed the rakhi in The plate

Adi: today is raksha bandhan and I couldnt miss tieing this rakhi on u..she said doing tika on his forehead while shuja bhai closed his eyes.

Ambreen rubbed zain arms knowing how blessed he must be feeling as they both watched adi tieing rakhi on shuja bhai

Adi: thank u for always supporting me and zain...even though u r zain brother u gave me all the love that a brother gives his sister and I'm blessed to have another brother

Shuja smiled while he wiped away the tears as he literally wasnt expecting all this

As adi finished he got up and hugged her

Shuja: god bless u adi...u deserve all the happiness in the world he said breaking the hug and took out some cash from his wallet and gave it to her

Adi moved to zain to see him smiling however she able to notice his moist eyes and moved to hug him while he hugged her and kissed the top of her head

Adi: thank u bhabhi this wouldnt have been possible without u she said moving to hug ambreen

Shuja: u knew ?

Adi: haan I had called bhabhi to help me as if I had bought a rakhi then zain would have seen it and I wanted it to be a surpise for him too she said looking at zain who smiled from ear to ear

At that  time adi siblings walked in and exchanged a hi between each other since they would speak on video calls with their family members now and then and they moved to hug shuja bhai and ambreen bhabhi

Adiza saw how their siblings were getting along with each other and knew they genuinely liked each other as it was seen through their video call

Zain put his arm around adi shoulder and both smiled at each other as they made this raksha bandhan special for each other and their siblings... a raksha bandhan which they would cherish for lifetime
