["I had no clue."]

Red and blue lights illumined the streets in the night, the wails of the siren bouncing of the concrete brick walls of the building blocks. Yellow tape surrounded one corner of the road, enforced by two police cars and an ambulance. Passer-by stopped to gawk at the unorthodox scene while some pulled out their phones to record, only to be scattered by the men in blue.

In the middle of the squared area was a pool of dark red blood.

Witness #1: Saphine- sister of the victim

(Witness appears to be grieving genuinely.)

What can you tell us about her?

"Gizelle was a quiet girl... never outspoken, always hiding in her room when I went over. I had moved out the moment I was accepted into another university outside of the state, so I don't know much about her life, only one or two friends she had mentioned before."

Do you know what forced her to choose suicide?

"I suspect she had been struggling for some time now. I've tried to probe her about it a few times, but she had always brushed me off, burying herself further into her shell... now I regret not pushing her... perhaps I could've helped..."

What were her relationships with her parents like?

"Dad rarely speaks to any of us. He rather spends his time in his office and at the bar. I doubt he even gives a damn about what happened to his youngest daughter. The only reason he would take notice of this is probably because of all the paperwork and money he needs to pour out."

What about the mother?

"Mom... well... like I said, Gizelle is not outspoken, so even to family members, she keeps most things to herself. And mom herself doesn't exactly conduct the best parenting either. She... has brought men home before, but of course, that doesn't justify anything, does it?"

Who are the few friends that she had brought up?

"I think...err, Harris and Rachel."

Do you think she might have been bullied in school?

"I had no clue."

Witness #2- Victim's father refused to speak about his daughter.

(Witness' actions have proved Witness #1's statement.)

"Just let me sign the papers and you guys do whatever you need to do."

Witness #3- Hellen- mother of the victim

(Witness seem to appear worried.)

How much do you know about your daughter?

"She rarely speaks to me. That stubborn girl sometimes even refuse to come out of her room for meals. I didn't know what was up with her. She's always been strange."

Did you know your daughter sometimes come home with injuries?

"No, like I said, she rarely speaks to me, let alone let me scrutinise her. She's also always wearing long, baggy clothes, so it wasn't obvious."

So you-

"I tried my best, okay? I tried my best to get her to open up, to be a mother, but she just doesn't let me!"

What about the men you brought home before?

"Those are just friends or colleagues. And I've never invited anyone into our home for the past year already. I don't see what you're trying to accuse me of is logical."

It's merely data collecting. Do you know any of her friends from school, or what she might have been going through?

"No. I assume she was mature enough to care for her own self."

What is your relationship with your husband?

"Not good. We wanted to file a divorce, but we needed each other for the kids-"

For the kids?

"..Yes. But he's an alcoholic. He often comes home drunk, and... we'd have a small quarrel, but nothing major. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if it was her father who gave her the idea to jump off the roof."

That's a harsh statement.

"Believe what you like. I contributed nothing to my daughter's death."

Did you know your daughter might've been suffering from depression?

"I told you, I play no role-"

I advise you to just answer honestly.

"...I had no clue."

Witness #4- Harris, a classmate

(Witness is confused about his involvement, but willingly cooperates.)

How well did you know Gizelle?

"We were partners for a group project, then I guess we became acquaintances, but we're barely even friends."

Did she associate with other classmates or people?

"She's almost always alone, but if you're saying people who she might've talked to I can only think of Rachel. Oh, I think I've seen Kelly and her girls approach her before, but honestly, I don't think they have any... positive...intentions, simply put."

A letter is found in her room, written before she committed suicide. Your name is mentioned.

"What? What does it say?"

Don't worry, nothing unpleasant. Her letter was only for those she wanted to thank.

"Oh... I see. I truly feel bad for what happened, but I'm really sorry. I had no clue..."

It's all right. We'll call you back in soon again.

Witness #5- Rachel, another classmate

(Rachel is visibly upset and anxious.)

How well do you know Gizelle?

"Honestly, not much... She keeps a lot to herself, but she was really kind. To receive this news..."

Has she shown any signs of being... abused? Or bullied?

"Uh, I think I might've spotted a few injuries, but we didn't talk as often either, so when I asked her she told me it was because she had always been careless. And about being bullied... that has never really crossed my mind, because she was always alone, and it wasn't like we were particularly close or anything. I guess we're just... friendlier compared to other classmates."

What about Kelly? What's their relationship?

"Kelly? She's not one of the best people I know, but one of the prettiest, I have to admit. I... don't think I know anything about her with Gizelle, though. I always leave the moment the bell rings because I have to help my mother take care of my baby brother."

Anything else you observed that might've been out of ordinary?

"Well, no... but maybe I should've taken note of Gizelle more... I can only imagine what she had gone through... oh wait, there's someone else. Yunika, Kelly's best friend. She had requested Gizelle to follow her to the teacher's office once... I don't... think Gizelle came back for some time, but no one really noticed."

I see. Very well. We will call you back in another time.

"I'm really sorry... I had no clue..."

Witness #6- Kelly, another classmate

(Witness appears to be quite on the edge.)

What do you think about Gizelle?

"That loner? Don't know, she never really was anyone, you know. Funny how she's suddenly the centre of attention because she died."

Based on the other witnesses' statements, it appears that you have quite some connection to her. Anything to say about that?

"What? Are you accusing me? For the record, we never did anything to her, never!"

We? Who else?

"I meant, my besties, we do everything together so it's a habit to use we."

What are your friends' relationship with Gizelle?

"I told you, nothing. We don't even know her name till she died!"

Then how do you explain the witnesses' statements?

"Well, okay, maybe we talked to her once when we were in a hurry to get home but we had clean-up duty, so we only were asking for her help."

Okay, then is there anyone else that she might've been close with?

"Nah, no one wanted to hang out with her. But we noticed she was quite friendly with Mr. Martinez, our French teacher. Wouldn't be surprised if she was stuck up all to him, then decided to end herself because of her broken heart."

Hmm, interesting statement. So you're saying she might have had romantic feelings for your teacher?

"Yeah, my girls saw her in his office quite late once. Who knew what they were doing."

I see. Then have you ever suspected she might have been bullied?

"I told you, I had no clue on her personal life. So please, this is pointless. Just let me go already."

...All right, for now. I look forward to seeing you again.

Incident report:

Gizelle, age 16, committed suicide at 12.15AM at HighSky Apartment. The forensics found scars, bruises and burn marks on the victim's body. Investigation is still undergoing, but it is highly suspected victim was diagnosed with severe depression and was physically abused. All witnesses deny to this statement.

Investigation will proceed as planned. We have yet to investigate her social media and the bizarre note she left behind.

This may unfold to something bigger than just a simple suicide.

Okay yea ig this kinda failed lmao.

It was supposed to be a simple scene of a bully professing their sin into pushing someone to suicide with the claim they had "no clue" of what the victim was going through, reflecting the horrible nature of bullying and that stuff but look where I went yippee.

Feel free to drop your ideas, feedbacks and criticisms.

:)
