Max's P.O.V.

I was walking with Claire when a girl with pink hair popped up. She was staring at us.

"This friendship... it is dangerous," she said.

"Is this because of the omen thing?"

"Not everything is as it seems."

I then saw Claire's eyes change color and she glowed with a frightening aura.

"What's happening?!"

I woke up, freaking out.

"What kind of dream was that?!"

Elise's P.O.V.

"Elise... do you know who the first ruler of Neol was?"

"Based off legend, it was Neolian queen Clarice."

"What if I told you there was someone before that vile woman?"

"Vile?" My new friend and source of intel nodded.

"Yes. She sold her soul to darkness to become better than someone else... it was a one-sided rivalry. This rival of hers was called Neolia."

"She was the first ruler?"

"Sort of. She established the Neol civilization. Though she did so much for her people, the Neolians were ungrateful... all except one of them. This soul was the only one of them who wasn't of her own design. He had a kind heart and would be around Neolia all the time. He was there for her when no one else was..." She hesitated to continue.

"What happened to them?"

"Neolia could live forever... he couldn't. They both knew it was a matter of time before fate would separate them. Then, Clarice happened. She was jealous and went to the extremes. She found a way to control people and she got them to turn against the one who began them. What a tragic betrayal that was. She knew she didn't have enough power to eliminate her long time enemy yet. So she decided to banish her to an isolated place and wipe her of many of her senses so that she would never find a way out. Then, the people, under her evil influence, burned the only kind one of them alive. He had a slow and painful death... Clarice had all record of Neolia wiped, except for the tales the people told."

"I never knew Neol's story was so... dark."

"There's a lot you don't know."
