Vish : sb thk hojaye ga Mahir..fikar mt kro

Mahir : tmny apni kia halat bana li hai vish.. Please zindgi ko zaya mat kro..
Bhool jao mjy

Vish : yae tm keh rahy ho Mahir.? Mai kysy bhool skti hon tmhy

Mahir : Vish mai aunty ce nazrain nai mila pata Hoon..unko lgta hai mai tmhari is halat ka zimmedar hoon..
Mai is Guilt mai nai reh skta.. Please aisa mt kro

Vish : Mai tm ce bht muhabbat krti hoon Mahir

Mahir (holding her hand) : Vish tum meri best friend ho aur hamesha raho gi.. Please apny sath aisa mt kro
Aunty ki baat man Lo aur kaheen achi jga shadi kr lo

Vish : (taking her hand back) to tm bs yae kehny aye thy Mahir?

Mahir : nahi mai--

Vish : mjy lga tm meri absence ce preshan ho kr mj ce Milny aye ho.

(Standig up)

(Before Mahir could say anything  she left.)

Hospital

Doctor moved out of room after examining Rohan alongwith Mahir.

Mahir entered in room after talking to doctor. Rohan was already sleeping. Bela was sitting on bed beside Rohan and mahir sat on a stool beside it.

Bela : kia bat hue apki doctor ce ?? Rohan thk ho jayega naa ??

Mahir : hmmm ! Vo keh rhy thy he is very  hopeful about surgery.  Keh rhy thy k surgery  zaroor kamyab hogi..

Bela looked at Rohan and creased her hand in his hair.

Tum Rohan k pas so jao.. mai vahan sofa pr so jaon ga

Bela : Nahi..! Mjy neend nai aye gi.. mjy nahi sona.

(Mahir looked at Bela who looked too worried , the sincerity  at her face, the innocence  he has always seen in her, He immediately  looked away and got up from stool)

Next day

Outside the OT

Bela was crying continuously standing with a wall.
Mahir who was sitting, stood up and came in front of her .
He wanted to hold her, he wanted to hug her tight, he wanted to remove all her pain.

Mahir : Bela !

Bela : agr Usy kch ho gaya to... ??
(She cried)

Mai mar Jaon gi..

Mahir : kch nai Hoga... Kch nai Hoga usy !! Humara beta thk ho jaye ga !

Bela : Vo abi Bht Chota hai..
Aur itni bari takleef... Aisa Q horha hai us k sath?!

(Tears came in his eyes and he held her from shoulders when she was going to collapse to the floor)

Mahir : sambhalo.. Please..

Bela : (looking up at him) ap ko pata hai jab vo.. (she sobbed)
jab vo kch arsy k lye School gya tha naa......
To is ki teacher uski intelligence aur Qabliyat ki Bohat tareef krti then..
....... Mai ny bataya Bohat Hi zaheen aur Qabil baap ka Beta hai
(She cried more)

Mahir : Bela !!

(Mahir wrapped arm around her shoulder)

Mahir : ao mery sth.. baith jao Thori dair

Bela : nahi..

Mahir : Bela., please..

(Mahir took her to nearby seats and sat beside her consoling her try not to shed tears in front of her.)

Doctor came out of OT

Doctor : Muabark ho Mr.Sehgal ... Surgery was successful

(Mahir shook hand with doctor when tears of happiness came in his eyes and Bela put her hands at her face and cried in happiness)

Mahir : Thank u doctor thank You soo much

Doctor : abi use dekh lijiye.. Us k baad kch dair usy observation mai rakhain gy.
Hosh aa jaega to ward mai Shift kr dain gy

(Doctor left)

(Mahir looked at Bela who was already looking at her)

Bela (in tears) : humara Beta ... Vo thk hai Mahir ji..

Mahir (smiling in tears) : han Bela...Thk hai vo.. Rohan bilkul thk hai

Bela : us k lye zindgi k sarey darvazay khul gaye mahir ji.. mery bachy k lye zindgi asan ho gae..

(Pause for a moment)

Thank you !

(Mahir could not utter a word.
And Bela was going to move from there)

Mahir : Kahan ja rhi ho?

Bela : Mandir..! Shiv ji ce Shikayaten to bht keen Hain...abi unka thank you krna hai !!

(She moved from there and mahir kept looking at her from back)

Rohan was lying unconscious on bed , cannula at his hand and surrounded by medical machines.

Bela was standing beside his bed and Mahir was standing at her back..

Bela : mera bacha  (she was crying)
Mama bht gandi hain naa..

tumhy is takleef ce nahi bacha ski naa ?? Mjy maaf kr do

Mahid : (holding her from shoulders) Bela bs kro.. Aur chalo

(He knew if she would stay longer here she would be only crying )

Bela : mjy nai jana !
bohat Takleef hui hogi naa.
Zor ce sui chubi hogi naa ?

Mahir : tmahry lye bol rha hoon. Rohan k lye bol rha hoon k chalo yahan ce.. hum thori dair mai dobara ayen gy is k pas.

Bela : mjy is k pas rehna hai.. yaheen

Mahir : tm aj tk hr cheez ka samna Bahaduri ce Krti ai ho to ab Q kamzor pr rahi ho ?!!

Bela  : ap jaiye..  mjy yaheen rehna hai..

Mahir : vo thk hai.. uski Surgery successful rahi hai..

He will be fine, believe me..thk hai vo.

Bela : Meri jaan..
Itny choty hath hain.. yeh cannula Q laga rkha hai... Usy dard ho rahi ho gi naa

(Mahir was wondering how she was behaving only seeing their son like this even when his surgery was successful, then how she would have reacted when she came to know about Rohan's condition. Who was there to support her ? How she faced everything alone. What would be the concequences if he was not there now ?!)

Mahir : Bela please... chalo..chalo shabash

(He dragged her outside)

Mahir came with some eatables and tea

Mahir : (Sitting beside Bela) : lo kch kha lo

Bela : bhook nhi hai

Mahir : Bela please. .

Bela : sach mai bhook nahi hai

Mahir : acha..chai to p lo

(Bela shook her head)

Bela : sir mai dard hai

Mahir : Rohan wala bed khali hai uspy jaa k lait jao.
Mai dawai ly kr ata hoon

(Gauri was sitting on bed and he came with medicine
She took it.)

Mahir : ab lait jao

(Bela laid and Mahir covered her with shawl )

(Mahir sat on a chair  beside bed ...
Bela's face was on opposite side. Her back was facing him.)

3 to 4 minutes later

Mahir : mai Heran hota hoon k aj tk tm ny kysy khud ko sambhala hai..
Abi to uski surgery b successful rahi hai usy srf is trha dekh kr tm itni kamzor par rahi to jab... Jab tmhy uski condition ka pata chala hoga to kysy sambhala hoga khud ko..!?

Is bary mai sochta hon to kanp jata hoon mai.. khud py bohat ghusa ata hai.. 

Akely larti rahi is sab ce.. Mjy pta tk nahi chlny dia... arey ek bar ...Bela ek baar bula k to dekhti..

Bela, mera dil Chata hai mai Tumhy kaheen door ly jaoon.. Is Duniya ce door.. Jahan tm hamesha mery sath ho..!
(He sighed)

Pta nai Kia kammi thi mery Payar mai jo tmny....... ,Q tm Us admi k sath......!

Bela I failed.. mai haar gya hoon.. Mai Tum Ce nafrat kerny mai Poori Trha haar gaya hoon..! nai kr paya tm ce nafrat Bela.. ni kr payar

(he sighed and got up.. He came to her and saw she was already asleep. he left the room)
