Ranen -

Almost spider-like in appearance, Ranen's are massively tall creatures, and rarely seen. They average a height of 8-20 feet, and tend to live in dark areas, such as forests. They can get scared or aggressive easily, especially by strange things or people. They have six, heavy legs that resemble a spider's, a long snout and two long sharp fangs. Ranens are covered in short hair/fur. Every Ranen has some kind of small marking on the top of their snout, and can vary in shape/detail. Ranens communicate with each other in a variety of hums, clicking sounds, and occasionally noises that resemble other animals around their habitat, such as birds or big cats. Ranens tend to spend their life in one spot, but if needed can travel long distances at a time without needing to stop. They have a fear of thunder, loud noises, bright light and unknown situations/things/people/creatures. Their eyes are either round, or "sharp" looking, and are completely black. They will eat pretty much anything edible, and prefer fruit, even if it's not fully ripe, or if it's overripe.
