Albus didn't know what to expect. He would be more than happy to be sorted into Gryffindor. But what if he wasn't? What if he was sorted into the dreaded Slytherin? He couldn't even think of that without getting shivers. But he sat down with the Sorting Hat on his head anyway.

"Ah, another Potter. Your brother was sorted into Gryffindor, you know," the Sorting Hat told him.

"Of course I know that!" Albus whispered.

"I see that you have that potential for the same house as your brother. Ravenclaw would suit you too," the Sorting Hat continued. The crowd seemed to be looking intently on Albus. Although he was only taking a few seconds, it felt like eternity.

"Ooo, maybe Hufflepuff? You are loyal, indeed. Very loyal," the Sorting Hat said. "I think I've made up my mind."

Albus hoped for the best. He knew what to expect. The disappointment as he heard, "HUFFLEPUFF."

But that disappointment never came. Albus realized he was sitting up there, waiting for something he didn't know came. He must've had missed it, being so nervous!

Albus stood up and walked around, towards the table with the applauding members.

Gryffindor.

Really short, I know, I know. I'll try to work on this book more often. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I liked where it ended this chapter though. Sorry for not updating. Thanks for the threats (@dmaldc12345)
